《The Nerd who cried Bad Boy》twenty seven

"I hate you. I hate you so much," she whispered.
Her voice cracked at the end, her eyes were full of pain that mirrored mine.
Alyssa sighed, tears about to fall out her eyes,"I want you to leave me alone. For good."
My heart stopped and my fists slowly unclenched... feeling the anger being taken over by pain and sadness.
"It's... it's over, Marcus," Alyssa whispered, she looked at me with tears in her eyes,"I'm done."
She finally said it.
The words I had feared to hear from her finally came out.
When she had said that, I felt like someone ripped my heart away from my chest. It really hurt.
My breath hitched and my knees went weak. I wanted to apologise, go on my knees and beg her to forgive me.
"But, don't stay with her too long. If the rival gang find out that you love your Alyssa, she will be in danger." My mother's words echoed in my head.
My baby cheeks finally decided it was time. I glanced at Trick who winked at me and smirked. I sighed, holding in my anger and sadness. I looked down at Alyssa, my eyes starting to well up with tears.
Marcus Sawyer doesn't cry.
I shut my mouth, not saying anything and I blinked away the tears.
I could tell she wasn't liking this either. Her lip quivered, her eyes were filled with sadness and clasped hands were trembling. She looked so beautiful, I missed her smile and her beautiful eyes sprakle when she smiled.
I nodded and backed away,"Okay... If that's what you want," I said. Tears fell from Alyssa's eyes and no matter how much I wanted to wipe away her tears and hug her tightly... but I couldn't.
She wasn't mine.
And she chose him over me.
I hate you.
Those words played over and over in my head, clearly processing what she had said.
I turned around, walking out the school doors. I heard footsteps behind me while I rushed to my car.
"Marcus," Kendall called after me.
"Leave me the fuck alone," I stated, walking faster my car.
"Marcus," Sam said and held my shoulder. "She's just one girl, dude. Don't let her get you back to the old Marcus--"
"Sam you don't fucking get it! The girl I have ever lo--" I paused, correcting myself. "Alyssa wants nothing to do with me," I said, staring at Sam. "And she hates me. And I don't blame her because I broke her heart by cheating on her," I whispered. I turned around and got in my car. I shut my car door and drove onto the road.
I banged on the wheel in anger. I was losing it. I lost her. I never thought I would ever feel like this, I never thought that I would feel like this towards Alyssa.
Alyssa Heart.
The girl who I would just glance at without thoughts. The girl I never thought would be together with. The girl I thought I would never fall for.
I never thought I would ever be falling in love with anyone but I can't think that now because I did.
But now everything that we had between us is gone. Our fake relationship that I always thought was real. I screwed up... I really fucking screwed up.
I wasn't spending enough time with Alyssa that she fell in love with Trick. And she hates me. It hurt so much when she had said she hates me.
I couldn't blame her, I kept on cheating on her. But I had a reason, she would hang out with Trick and I wanted to make her jealous. Well, it worked but I lost her.

I lost the girl I had ever cared about.
"Don't worry, he'll be okay but Marcus had really damaged him," Percy said and I nodded.
"Where are you taking him?" I asked as I watched Trick walk with Angelo with his arm around his waist.
"Don't worry about that," Percy assured. "Are you okay?" he asked, staring at me, concerned. His hand cupped my cheek and wiped away the tears that fell.
I opened my mouth to answer but words struggled to escape my mouth. I slowly shook my covered my face with my hands, bursting into tears. Percy wrapped his arms around my torso, pulling me in for a hug. He caressed my back as I buried my face in his chest. "I don't know if what I did was right," I stammered. "I probably made a mistake."
"You'll find out soon enough," Percy whispered and I pulled away, staring at him. He nodded and pecked my cheek,"I'll see you." he walked away.
I sighed and the bell for our second period. I took my backpack and slung it over my shoulder. I had Mrs. Benjamin and I really wasn't in the mood for her.
And it didn't seem that Aaliyah was coming to school either. I went to Mrs. Benjamin's class and I sat at my usual seat. The class started and for the first time ever, I didn't pay attention. Mrs. Benjamin explained the work and I didn't even take notes down. I was staring down at my empty notebook and the pen in my hand.
Suddenly Mrs. Benjamin stopped talking for about 10 seconds, I heard footsteps and two people sitting on either side of me. She nodded and carried on with her talking.
I looked at Mrs. Benjamin and from the corner of my eye, I saw Sam so I assumed Kendall was the one sitting on my left.
What were they doing sitting next to me?
Honestly, I thought they were going to stay far away from me as possible since I made their best friend upset. And, there were seats at the back of the class where they always sat when we weren't friends. Even if they say next didn't mean that they wanted me to talk to them.
I looked down on my table since I had sensed movement. There were two folded notes on my notebook. I looked at Mrs. Benjamin who was writing something on the board while explaining. I looked back to the notes and opened them.
Are you okay, Sweet cheeks? - K
We are used to you scribling random bull in your book and listening to the teacher. - S
I smiled.
"Something funny, Ms. Heart?" Mrs. Benjamin asked, giving me a fright. She quirked her eyebrow at me.
"Uhm, no ma'am," I replied.
"Really?" Mrs. Benjamin said.
"What do want her to do? Be sad? Cry?" Sam spoke up.
"Last time I checked, being happy is a good thing," Kendall said.
Mrs. Benjamin was silenced and gave everyone in class homework. Back to the letter, I took out my pen and wrote on the note.
To Kendall: No. I don't feel okay but I'm happy that you guys are... writing to me.
To Sam: I'm not in the mood. I'm tired and I was not paying attention. Now excuse me, I want to read over what ma'am just explained.
I gave the letters back to them and read it. I looked at Sam and he nodded, smiling. I turned to Kendall and he nodded too.

The bell rang ten minutes later and I stood up and I gathered all my books, stuffing them in my backpack. I zipped it shut, I was about to rush out but Mrs. Benjamin stopped me.
"Alyssa?" she said.
What does she want now? Give me detention for smiling in class?
"Y-yes?" I turned around and looked at her. There was no hatred in her eyes, she wasn't tapping her nails against the table so what could she want.
"I saw you weren't really paying attention in class like you always do, you seemed kinda sad. Is there anything wrong?" she asked.
At this point, my mouth was agape. I stared at Mrs. Benjamin in shock,"I'm sorry?"
"You want me to explain anything for you since you weren't paying attention in class?" she asked with a smile.
"N- no," I answered with my eyebrows furrowed,"Why are being nice to me?"
"Well... can't I be nice?" she asked and chuckled.
"Not long ago, it looked like you wanted to sue me for smiling in your class. Are you only being nice because you see now that no one is taking your side? That no one will laugh when you make fun of me? That I finally have friends to back me up?" I said and turned around. I paused and looked at Mrs. Benjamin. "Oh, and thank you for offering to help me but I can do it on my own, like I always did." I smiled.
Mrs. Benjamin was filled with guilt, "I'm sorry," she whispered.
"You know, trying to be everyone's favourite teacher by doing wrong is not attracting at all. No one is bullying me anymore, what are you going to do now? Be nice? Thank you for the apology, Mrs. Benjamin," I said and turned around and walked out the door.
Not to my surprise, Sam and Kendall were standing there. I smiled at them and walked to my locker,"What do you guys have now?" I asked Sam and Kendall while I opened my locker.
"Math," they replied.
"Aw, crap. I have English," I groaned. "Where's--" I paused and took my books for English.
"He's probably getting wasted," Kendall answered.
I tried not to react. I felt like bursting into tears because I missed him so much. I usually never saw Marcus at school because we had different schedules but knowing that we weren't together anymore, it hurt. A lot.
"I'm glad you guys are still with me," I said with a smile.
"We told you that we aren't here because of Marcus," Sam said.
"You guys are so sweet." I stood on my tiptoes and pecked their cheeks.
A certain someone got of class and walked through the halls of the school unnoticed.
It was Bree.
She wasn't her normal self, she wasn't wearing a short dress and high heels. Instead, she wore something that she I had never seen her wear. A normal sized tee, and we all knew Bree was a cropped top type of girl, she also wore pale jeans and white sneakers.
Bree rarely wore sneakers.
No one looked at her direction and her minions weren't even with her which really surprised me. Bree went to her locker and stuffed in her books inside. She struggled shutting her locker and so she pushed it and it shut closed. She had gained attention, she turned and saw everyone stare at her,"What?" she snapped.
Everyone carried on with their business. She huffed and crossed her arms. Sam and Kendall looked at me and quirked their eyebrow simultaneously.
"What?" I said.
They chuckled,"Go talk to her."
"No. Why?" I whispered. "She took Marcus away from me."
"No she didn't. Marcus would never do that to you," Kendall said.
"Can we not talk about him?" I stammered and I looked at Bree.
"She's miserable. Ever since the incident on her eighteenth birthday, no one talks to her like before, she lost Veronica and her old friends..." Sam said.
Bree was on her phone, her finger scrolling down on her screen.
"Would you like if someone ruined your eighteenth birthday?" Sam asked.
I sighed and looked at Bree,"Guys, she's the reason between most the arguments between Marcus and I. She's one of the reasons we broke up," I said.
When I spoke about my relationship with Marcus, I would forget that we were just fake dating. It was only temporary.
Oh, how I hated Bree for ruining my life. For ruining the relationship between Marcus and I. I scoffed and crossed my arms over my chest.
For everything she had done, she deserved this.
The school day went on. Each class was long and boring, it was not like I was paying attention anyway. Instead, I was drawing in all my classes. Drawings of hearts, my name and anime. The bell finally rang dismissing us. I stood up from my seat and grabbed my bag, swinging it on my shoulder.
"Enjoy the rest of your afternoon students and don't forget to do your homework!" Mrs. Arias shouted but everyone ignored her, rushing out of class.
I left too and walked out the school. It was about to rain, the wind was picking up and it was drizzling. I stood outside the school's entrance, waiting for my mother to pick me up from school.
I waited, pulling out my headphones from my backpack. I wore them and plugged it in my phone. Scrolling through my playlist, I picked a song and got lost in the song.
Soon after, an unfamiliar car stopped in front of me and I furrowed my eyebrows.
The car window rolled down and I saw the person.
Dangerous looking.
The guy had a scar across his lip, his eyes were dark brown and his hair was tousled. He wore a leather jacket, white tee that clung to his chest. His hand was still holding the steering wheel tightly.
Something about this guy made my body shiver in fear, a chill ran down my spine and suddenly my phone battery died. My music stopping.
I looked away, pretending he wasn't there. His head turned my way and I met eyes with him.
My knees went weak.
He scared me but he was very good-looking. I quickly looked away, trying to ignore the uncomfortable tension between us. I pretended to listen to the music, mouthing the lyrics to nothing.
"Alyssa Heart," his dark, husky voice said.
I turned my head to him and slowly took off my headphones.
"Are you Alyssa Heart?" he asked, with a serious face.
"Uh... who's asking?" I said, nervously playing with my headphones. "The police?" I gulped nevrously with a chuckle, trying to ease out the tension.
The corner of the man's lips tugged up slightly before he looked at me again,"So it is you. He could've done better."
"I'm sorry, he?" I asked.
"Don't worry about that," he said as it started raining.
"Crap," I murmured.
"Who are you waiting for?" he asked.
"What do you want from me?" I asked, dodging the question.
He smirked,"I came to meet the gangleader's love."
"Gangleader?" I knew he was talking about Marcus. Who else? "Okay... I think you've got the wrong person... you can leave," I stammered at the end.
"It's raining, sweet Heart." he smirked. "Don't you want a ride home?"
"No," I said simply. "Someone's picking me up from school," I replied, pulling my hood over my head.
My phone buzzed and I checked the message I had just received.
"Oh my gosh." I sighed. "How convenient," I murmured sarcastically. I turned around.
"I can drive you home," he offered, not taking his gaze off me. His eyes travelled down then back at my eyes and he smirked, knowing what he did probably made me blush.
It did.
"No thanks, my parents will be arriving any second," I lied.
"I won't even bother asking why you were heading back to school," the man said.
"Well don't," I said.
The man smiled,"It was nice meeting you, Heart."
"Nice meeting you too," I said sarcastically. "What is your name by the way?"
The man turned to me,"I prefer not to say my name for safety reasons."
"Okay bye." I eyed the strange man.
He smirked, his eyes travelling to my legs then back to my eyes. "I'll see you soon, Heart." He drove away as I stared after his car.

A Fool's Journey, or the Vagrancies of a Man in Exotic Lands
What does a sad bastard do when fate, literally, decides to throw him into a fantasy world? Solon just wanted to lead a normal life; work, share some pizza with friends, work, play some videogames or read something, work, maybe sleep?, work... Pretty much the usual, rinse and repeat. It was far from perfect, but life was nicely boring and comfy enough. Truth be told, he had hoped it would go on forever, or until he got married, or until the apocalypse finally decided to bring an end to everything. As far as he could tell, though, the former was about as likely as the latter; not very. And perhaps even somewhat related, if it ever came to it. Unfortunately, he saw himself involved in some sort of cosmic fart that screwed him over, brutally severing his life-plan. Or, maybe, would it be more suitable to say that Fate had other plans? Sure, he's yet to find out exactly what those plans might be, but, at the very least, they do seem to involve him being shoved into another world, fighting off a couple of horrendous creepers, and -almost- an accidental liaison with a baboon. Needless to say, the job doesn't come with dental care, and death seems more likely than retirement... Yep, when he got yoinked out of Earth, there were no princesses waiting for him, no sexy goddesses, and no severe Gandalf-wannabes! Heck, not even a bunch of demonic cultists! All he got for the trouble was a bunch of snarky windows and the honest desire to punch whatever bastard happens to be behind the smug System. Well, that, and a few forced trips to the so-called Tower of Ascension. Not exactly what he would have expected but, on the plus side, he does get to do some magic. Though, not quite the wand-waving kind. Whatever. One thing’s patently clear, though, he’s certainly not the chosen one, nor the summoned hero, nor the Savior. If anything, he himself might be in need of some saving... Just what kind of fool does the System take him for? Please do consider the tags. Also, 'Strong Lead' here means weak to strong, over a decent amount of time, not op from the very beginning. Things to expect: decent grammar, cheeky goats. Things not to expect: Harems, a decent sense of fashion.
