《The Nerd who cried Bad Boy》four

Bree's eyes didn't leave mine at all. The nervousness in my body made me crave for Oreos or chocolate. I looked around at the shocked faces of the students. Some had their phone's recording and/or taking pictures.
Maybe I should just say no.
Although Bree was an asshoe, I decided to leave the whole Marcus thing and just say that Marcus bought these stuff for her.
But Marcus just said he forgot to buy gifts for Bree.
Oh yeah and I mentally shrugged. I looked at Veronica and saw bucket of red paint next to her. They were planning on pouring it on me this whole time! I frowned and l looked at Bree.
"You know what..." I smirked. "Yes, we're dating," I lied. Everyone gasped dramatically, staring at me in shock.
There were no words to explain how I felt then.
"You're bluffing." Bree chuckled nervously, her face turning red. I replied by just looking at her seriously. Bree shook her head slowly.
"Alyssa is dating Marcus?" a person exclaimed from the crowd. Bree groaned and took out her phone. I furrowed my eyebrows," Who are you calling?" I asked her.
Bree first glared at me before answering, "Marcus."
She actually answered me without shouting or sarcasm. Oh wait... did she just say Marcus?
"No, don't call him. He's busy," I told her. She rolled her eyes and pressed call. The call immediately went to voicemail. I sighed a breath of relief and looked around. People were still staring at me like I hated puppies and kittens.
Veronica put her phone in her pocket and walked to Bree, Who was fanning herself by waving her hand at her face. "I'm parched. I can't believe he broke up with me for the nerd," Bree said as she and Veronica walked away.
Everyone whispered to each other as they looked at me. The bell rang for the first period. Everyone scattered to their classes, still not believe what happened.
Believe me, I didn't believe it eiether. I sat against the lockers and hugged my knees.
Oh shit, what have I done? Why did I lie about dating Marcus, the bad boy. What if everyone found out about it? What if Marcus found out and decided to reveal me? I sighed through my nose and closed my eyes.
I heard crunching next to me. Like someone was eating. I furrowed my eyebrows and lifted my head from my knees.
I looked beside me. It was the same girl who worked from the pizza place. She had tied her long, curly brown hair into a bun and let two strands hang next to her face. She wore a stripy blue and white tee and dark blue jeans.
And she was eating my Oreos. My Oreos. "I love Oreos," she said smiling.
"Who doesn't?" my voice came out soft again.
She smiled and held out her hand. "I'm Aaliyah. But you can call me Aali, Aals or Liyah."
I hesitantly shook it. I never forgot the fact that she was still eating my Oreos. "I'm Alyssa."
"Cool. I'll call you... Lyssa," she said and smiled. "Thank you for the Oreos, I'll never forget this day." she chuckled.

A person who ate my Oreos without asking, yeah, neither will I forget this day. I thought.
I stood up and closed my locker. I started walking. "Hey! Wait up!" Aaliyah said following me until she caught up, walking beside me.
"Which class do you have next?" she asked.
"Erm... English," I replied. "With Mrs. Arias."
"Oh, too bad. I have Physics," she frowned.
"Okay." Not to be rude, I honestly didn't care. All I could think of was what just happened.
Shit.
I'm in deep shit.
As I continued writing down the answers on the quiz, I noticed someone staring at me. I looked up at the teacher, Mrs. Arias, and I saw her typing away on her laptop so I turned around and saw Sam Malik, one of the 'bad boys', was staring at me. His other friend, Kendall, was also staring at me which was weird and creepy at the same time.
Sam smiled and Kendall winked at me. And they did it simultaneously.
"Alyssa, turn around," Mrs. Arias stated. I silently apologised and carried on with the quiz.
About seconds later, I heard someone sit at the desk behind me. I glanced at the back and saw Sam and Kendall.
My eyes widened. Last time that happened, they wrote 'Kick me' on my peach sweater. And you don't need Sherlock to assist you on what happened in the rest of the day.
"Hey Alyssa," Sam said, I ignored him as I write the last sentence of the question paper.
"Alyssa."
"Alyssa."
"Alyssa."
"Alyssa."
That's how it went. Sam whispered my name more times than I've blinked. I squeezed my pen and sighed. I looked at Sam.
"Hey." he wriggled his eyebrows and then smiled his charmer smile. Sam was handsome, especially because of his dimpled smile, messy hair and beautiful dark brown eyes.
Kendall looked like a bad boy as well, but not that deathly feared like Marcus Sawyer. He had a scar across his lips, which made him look even hotter. They both were best friends, and they only met last year while pranking me. They were inseparable and hung out together all the time.
I rolled my eyes and returned to checking my answers. "Hey Alyssa." I silently cursed and turned to look at Kendall. "Hey." he winked at me and smirked. I heard whispering again. Some students -- girls -- in the class had their eyes on me, either glaring at me because the two hot boys had their attention on me or stared at me in shock.
Mrs. Arias sighed loudly gaining attention and then she stood up. "Class, I'll be back in a few minutes. Julie, please keep watch," she said and Julie nodded then looked at me. Mrs. Arias mumbled something as she left the class.
Kendall stood next to the kid who sat beside me. Kendall said nothing but just looked at him and the kid scrambled to another seat. Sam did the same and they both sat next to me.
"Hey, nerd," Sam called me and my eyes met his and my cheeks heated.
"How are you sweet cheeks?" Kendall asked me.
I had noticed that I've been called 'cheeks' a lot. Like Marcus called me earlier baby cheeks and now Kendall called me sweet cheeks.

"I- I'm fine," I replied. Sam and Kendall moved and shifted their desks until they were extremely close to me.
"We heard you're dating the oh-so bad Marcus Sawyer," he whispered sending shivers through me. My heart started to beat so hard that I'm sure Kendall heard. My palms started sweating.
"Y- yeah and?" I asked, stuttering. When I was nevrous, I always stuttered. Which I hated.
"How is it dating him?" Kendall asked. "Is it awesome?"
I nodded.
"Have you two done it yet?" Sam asked, grinning.
My eyes widened. "What? No, no, no. Never."
Sam and Kendall chuckled simultaneously. "I thought you said you were dating Marcus," Kendall said, grinning too.
"What do you mean?"
"Every girl that has been with Marcus has done it with him. And the relationship only survives for like a week," Sam stated.
I got tired of snapping my head from Kendall to Sam and from Sam to Kendall. "How long have you two been together?"
Only since an hour ago.
"About three weeks," I lied. The eyes of Sam's and Kendall's widened.
"Seriously?"
I nodded.
"Wow, the dude's being loyal. Did you know he banged Louisa last week," Sam said, bluntly.
"Okay guys, can you leave me alone?" I asked, annoyed. Not caring that Marcus 'cheated' on me with Louisa.
"But you didn't want Marcus to leave you. What do you find in him that's so attracting, huh?"
Everytime I took a breath, I made sure I took a deep one. I could faint any moment; not because of the two, hot guys next to me who purposely spoke in a sexy manner but of the question.
I stood up but Kendall held my wrist. "Where at you going?" he asked.
"To call Marcus," I blurted out and I mentally cursed. Kendall and Sam smirked and Kendall let go of me.
"Alyssa, get back to your seat!" Julie commanded.
I stopped in my tracks and turned to sit down. "You do know that Alyssa is dating Marcus right?" Sam said to Julie.
Something clicked in her and she nodded," I'm so sorry, you can go," she said. Sam and Kendall turned and winked at me. The fact that they almost did everything simultaneously creeped the hell out of me.
I furrowed my eyebrows and walked out the class to the bathroom. I looked in the mirror, beads of sweat rolled down my cheek. I opened the tap and washed my face. After I was done, I took out my phone and unlocked it with a pattern. I went to contacts and pressed Marcus' contact.
I tapped his number and it started ringing. He answered it and I accidentally dropped my phone on the floor. I bent down and picked up my phone.
"Hey Alyssa," he answered.
"Hey-"
Bree and Veronica enter the bathroom. They stop and Bree glared at me.
"Uh... hey Marcus." I chuckled nevrously and I tried blocking Bree's deadly glare.
"I'm kind of busy right now. Can you call later?"
"Yeah, I like you too. Bye," I said fast, wanting Marcus not to realize what I said.
"Okay. Bye," he also said in a rush and hung up. I heaved a breath of relief. He didn't hear me correctly. I scrambled to my feet. Bree walked to me and grabbed my phone out my hand and I watched her check my recent calls. She and Veronica shared the same look and she handed me back my phone.
"So you are dating Marcus. I really thought you were bluffing," Bree said calmly and faked a smile at me. Which I ignored.
The bell rang for lunch.
I walked out the bathroom, leaving Bree and Veronica. I went to my locker and took out all the chocolates and Oreos and put them in my bag. Later on I went to the cafeteria and sat where I usually sat; the last table at the corner.
I opened my lunchbox and took out my Nutella coated bagels. I also took out my water bottle that was filled with apple juice. Someone sat next to me. I looked beside and saw Aaliyah. She bought two pizzas and a orange juice at the counter.
"Hey Lyssa," she greeted me with a warm smile.
"Hi Liyah." I smiled back.
"How was your day?" she asked.
"It was fine. Yours?"
"It was cool. I was staring at Trick for whole three periods." she daydreamed.
"Who's Trick?" I asked. She snapped out of her trance and finally looked at me.
"Oh. Oh. It's him." she slightly pointed to a guy standing in line to get food. He had jet black hair, light green eyes and had the most sexiest smile. "Isn't he cute?"
I chuckled. "Yeah, kind of."
I never noticed Trick here before, maybe he was new here. "Would you date him?" she asked me. I watched Trick as he laughed with his friends. He saw me stare and he slightly waved at me. I furrowed my eyebrows.
"Is he waving at me?" I looked behind me and beside me to see if anyone was responding to the wave. No one. So he was waving at me. I wasn't used to people being so kind to me.
I waved back and Aaliyah squealed. "He noticed us!"
I laughed and looked at Trick again, but this time he as walking to out table.
I couldn't believe it.
He sat next to Aaliyah and she silently gasped. I giggled. Two of Trick's friends came and sat on eiether side of me.
What the bagels is going on?
"Hi, I'm Trick." Trick smiled at Aaliyah and I. I chuckled as I saw Aaliyah blush.
"I'm Angelo," the blonde haired said and winked.
"Percy," the brunet said.
"I'm Alyssa," I said to them.
"Yeah, we know. After the incident," Angelo mumbled and Percy nudged him.
"Hey, you guys want to hang out later tonight. We all watch a movie," Trick suggested.
I was happy. Someone asked me to hang out with them!
Aaliyah looked at me and said," What about Marcus? Won't he murder you all?"
I nodded, getting nevrous,"Yeah, but you know... I'll tell him that I'm going out with... fri- friends."
The word 'friends' felt so foreign escaping out my lips, but I liked it.

Until Death? (Refleshed Version)
Ever been a god? Well, I was! Until I died.... and got judged by the other gods! Apparently, they didn't like the whole "My Faith is the only true one!" idea. Oh, and for the record: The Apocalypse wasn't intentional, ok? In my defense, I want it to be known that my enemies threw the first stone and the whole 'Offer the other cheek' just isn't my thing. Seems like, for punishment, I get sent onto a vacation! Or so I hope? ——————————————————————————————— Reading Order of the Multiverse-Books ——————————————————————————————— Author's Comment: It's here, a rewrite? Yes! I would like to think that this version will have better grammar, better jokes, hopefully, everything better. Since it was my first work and started solely to improve my English, the grammar always caused me headaches when I looked at it. Well, and there are the plotholes which appeared with the whole multiverse thing that came with my other works... Let's just say that the first one was never written with the idea of turning it into a series. So let's get a shovel and fill-up the plot so that hapless readers won't fall into those pitch-black pits. They might break a knee! Or worse, vanish forever. And now the disclaimer everyone knows: I was asked about reading my work on other sites. The answer is simple: Currently, I am not active in any other networks than royalroadl.com. Only here, I correct mistakes and errors. If you read it anywhere else and have to pay for it or have to deal with an annoying amount of advertisement, You Are Being Betrayed. You would do good if you make other people in that network aware of it. This is a free project of mine for the purpose of having fun. And if people try to make money with it you shouldn't bother visiting their website. The only one whom I actually allowed to have my work on his website is Armaell who invested the time to compile them into pdf. (http://armaell-library.net/author/andur)

Getting Hard (Journey of a Tank)
Herald Stone always built tank characters in every MMORPG he played. To be immortal—that was his first Goal, a simple childhood dream. However, the turbulent realities of life put an end to his gaming days. Years passed, and Herald Stone, now having attained success and stability, was presented with the opportunity to redeem himself...to fulfill his first Goal. Trivial? Childish? Others might think so. But Herald Stone always fulfilled his Goals—every single one. No matter what. Immortality beckoned in Mother Core Online, and this time Herald Stone would answer. Choosing a long-forgotten race, hidden away in an unknown region, the journey of an immortal tank begins. This is the tale of Herald Stone...getting hard. Schedule: Mon-Wed-Fri-Sat, 10am Central/ 3pm GMT. ~1.8k-2.3k words per chapter. Also published on Scribblehub. My other ongoing story: REND | Royal Road Expect a focus on building a true tank in MMORPGs. Heavy game elements and numbers are present. But actual math will take a backseat to strategies involving skill builds and synergies that steadily become more complex while remaining understandable. The main character is atypical in LitRPGs or web novels as a whole. He might take some getting used to. Character arcs will develop over a long period. What you see now will be different as the main character changes. The start of Getting Hard is slow-paced (more so than others of the genre) and includes world-building and character development before focusing on the LitRPG.
