A couple of days later

"The ceremony is today," Ace said as he walked into my room and jumped on my bed. The ceremony is to welcome me to the pack. I'm going to become an official member of the Red Moon Pack.

"Get off it!," I yelled. "I just made it."

"Shut up," he rolled his eyes. "So what're you gonna wear? Maybe you could put on a private fashion show for me?" He winked as I burst out laughing.

"In your dreams," I chuckled. He blew me a kiss making me rolled my eyes. "I got my dress but I'm gonna have to pass on the private fashion show. You wouldn't be able to handle it."

"I can feel the sexual tension in here," Xavier said as he strolled in. "I can feel it practically choking me." He sat on my bed, purposely moving the pillows I placed perfectly.

"I'm gonna choke you in a second," I hissed out as I hit them both over the head.

"Kinky," Ace winked. "I like it." I threw one of the pillows on my bed at him. He caught it and put it under his head, looking up at the ceiling.

"There's new wolf wanting to join our pack," Xavier said, suddenly turning serious.

"Really? Is he cute?," I instantly asked.

"Obviously not as hot as me," Ace said.

"Can you two be serious for a minute?," Xavier asked. "He found his mate here so he's moving here. Neither of them have a high rank in a pack so they just decided to stay here."

"Okay. And?," I asked confused. What's so weird about that?

"Don't you think it's weird?," he asked Ace and I. Me and Ace looked at each other before shaking our heads simultaneously.

"He probably doesn't like his pack. It's not uncommon for males to move packs for their mates," I shrugged.

"Probably," he muttered.

"Alright," I said clapping my hands. "Either leave or you can help me get ready."

"I'll stay," they both said in unison. I rolled my eyes.

"Thank goodness I already had a shower today," I muttered. I got out my makeup and curling iron before sitting at my vanity. The boys sat on my bed talking back and forth for the two hours I spent getting ready. I hate doing my hair. My hair is super thick so it takes a long, long time to get it done.

I walked out of the en-suite with my light grey ballgown dress covering my body. Sequins covered the top part of the dress. The V-neck wasn't low enough to show too much cleavage. "Is this too much?," I asked my wolf, Dawn.

"No, you look perfect. Utterly breathtaking," she spoke, truthfully. A wolf whistle brought me out of my thoughts.

"Damn," Ace said.

"You look...," Xavier trailed off. "Wow." Ace wacked Xavier over the head. "What!"

"'Wow?'," Ace repeated. "Is that the best you can do?" Xavier glared at Ace before turning to me.

"You look ravishing," he winked. I raised an eyebrow. "Now, I'd like to see you say something better than that," he said to Ace.

"Challenge accepted," Ace shrugged before he stalked towards me, finally leaving my bed. "Words cannot describe how utterly amazing and perfect you look right now." By now, he was stood directly in front of me. I had to tilt my head upwards slightly to look at his perfectly sculptured face. He was stood so close to me I could almost smell his minty breath. "But you look drop dead gorgeous."

"Okay!," Xavier exclaimed standing between us making sure there was enough space between us. "I think it's time we make a pact."

"A pact?," I asked.

"Why?," Ace asked, planting his ass back on my bed.

"You've only been here for a couple of days and it's clear that we're becoming really close friends. I guess we're like a friendship group now. Anyway, we need to make a pact, a promise, that we'll never date each other. I don't wanna ruin this dynamic we have going on."

"Makes sense," I said.

"Who knew you could be so smart?," Ace asked Xavier sarcastically.

"Promise?"

"Promise."

"Promise."

We all agreed to the pact. "The pact does not apply to flirting. That's allowed. And just so you know, Alana, I'm still gonna hit on you,"

Xavier said. I let out a laugh.

"No, you're not," Ace spoke up, standing up from my bed and squaring up to Xavier jokingly. "I'm gonna hit on her."

"No, I am!," Xavier argued back, cracking his knuckles for extra effect. Ace rolled his shoulders back before rolling his neck. Without a warning, he tackled Xavier to the ground.

"Ace!," I yelled. "Xavier!" They both pulled away from each other and burst out laughing. They laid side by side as I glared at them from above. "You could've knocked my curling iron from the table and burnt yourself!"

"But I didn't," they both said in unison.

"Get out before I shove a heel up both of your asses," I sighed out. "Get ready. I'll see you later." They checked the time on their phones before agreeing that they needed to get ready and leaving. I sorted my bed out before sitting on the window seat with a book in hand. I read for almost thirty minutes before they both waltzed in my room. They both wore matching black suits. The blazer was unbuttoned giving everyone a good view of the toned body they both hid under the white dress shirt.

"Let's go," they said, both offering their arms out for me. I gladly took both. I'd rather not fall and trip in front of the whole pack.

"Thanks," I said. "You both look nice."

"Nice?," Xavier repeated.

"We said some pretty big words to compliment you and all we get is a 'you both look nice'," Ace said.

"Oh, so you didn't mean what you said to me." They both stayed silent. "Oh my god. Oh my god." I sniffed slightly. Ace widened his eyes once he realised that I may be crying.

"You can't be for real!," he exclaimed.

"Dude, she's crying just without the tears. She doesn't want to ruin the perfect makeup she worked so hard on. It's skill," Xavier said. "Don't worry. I said what I meant Alana."

"What skill?," Ace asked.

"Being able to cry without the tears," Xavier said in a duh tone. Ace rolled his eyes.

"I'm sorry. I meant what I said," Ace muttered as he scanned the area with his eyes. We were walking to the other side of the pack house. This pack house is much bigger than the one back at home. This one has wings and apartments. It's crazy!

"Oh, you're too kind," I joked. "Do you know what being able to cry without the tears is also known as?" They both shook their heads as a no.

"Fake crying," I whispered. Xavier let out a sharp gasp.

"How dare you?"

Suddenly, we were in front of two golden double doors. "Ready?," they both asked me. I shook my head as a no but the doors opened anyway. The enormous golden ballroom was revealed. Men and women wore suits and gowns. "Stand up straight. Don't show fear," Ace advised me as we walked in. I did as he said. Heads turned our way probably smelling an unfamiliar scent or sensing the future leaders of this pack.

"How many people would you say are roughy in here?," I whispered, feeling my hands become clammy.

"Calm down," he whispered back. "If I can sense your fear, others can too." He completely ignored my question.

"Shut up and walk," Xavier mumbled as he smiled at the pack. We walked towards the stage where Alpha Daniels, Aces' father, stood. Ace helped me up as Xavier joined the crowd.

Once I was safely on the stage, Ace let go of me and walked to stand beside his father. I stood behind them, waiting for Alpha Daniels to introduce me. He spoke for a while about...who knows. I wasn't really listening. I broke free from my thoughts when my name was said loudly through the microphone. I walked forwards.

"Alana Reid, do you promise to put this pack before yourself?," Alpha Daniels asked me.

"I do."

"Do you promise to protect and honour this pack for as long as you live?"

"I do."

"Do you promise to obey the leaders of the pack and trust every decision we make?"

"I do." He handed me a knife. I slit my palm open and held it above the bowl that sat on a golden table. Three drops of blood landed in the bowl. Each drop for each promise.

"I'm now pleased to present Alana Reid, member of the Red Moon Pack!," he announced. Claps resonated throughout the entire room. I slowly left the stage as the other newest member became apart of the pack.

Each ceremony for different packs is different. They all do the three promises but sometimes they add other traditions. But the Luna ceremony is the same for every single pack.

Ace and Xavier looked at me with huge smiles. "Welcome to the family, princess."
