《Alpha Grayson|✔️》8| Hers

The past two weeks I have barely been getting any sleep. I'm walking around like a zombie half the fucking time. I can't sleep. I can't eat. I can't fucking do anything. I look like I got punched on each eye. "I'm worried," Isla said as she sat in the kitchen on a barstool.
"I'll be fine. I am fine," I told her like I have the past few days before I made myself some toast. I let out a yawn before I sat opposite her. "That bad feeling still hasn't gone away though."
"Nothing is gonna happen," she reassured me. "It's been two weeks since you started feeling like that," she let out a sigh as she glanced at her phone. "Anyway, I have to go. It's getting late and Zane's texting me."
"I'm surprised you haven't asked him to mark you yet," I told her pretty surprised.
"Me too," she laughed before she left.
Silence.
Since I was forced back into Graysons home, I'm always alone. This house might aswell just be mine at this point. My whole bedroom has more of a personality than this fucking house. It's literally all black and white. It's basic and boring. There's no personal items of his around the house that I have yet to see.
Grayson is never here just like before. He only ever comes for breakfast before I wake up. I never see him anymore. I doubt he's sleeping here but that doesn't make sense since he forced me to move back here.
I quickly ate my toast getting rid of all thoughts of Grayson before I made my way back to my room. I grabbed a random book from my bookshelf before getting comfortable on my bed. Halfway through the second chapter, I managed to fall asleep, thankfully.
-
A loud crashing nice startled me awake. It must've been around 4am as it was completely dark out. A cold breeze blew over me. My eyes quickly got used to the darkness as I rubbed them quickly. With my heart racing, I stayed still as I looked over at the window, thinking I might've left it open, hoping to get rid of the idea that there was someone else in the house.
I can't smell anyone.
"Dawn, something's wrong," I mindlinked her, feeling anxious and worried.
"Someone's in the bedroom. I can't smell them but I can sense them. They've masked their scent. I'll tell his wolf," she informed me before quickly rushing to tell his wolf.'

Dawn was right. Someone was in here with me. The glass from the window was broken and was decorating my floor. I slowly rose from my bed, trying desperately to not make a sound, knowing something was going to happen and that I could at least try and stop it.
Suddenly, a hand grabbed the back of my neck, smashing my face into my floor length mirror before I could react. Sharp shards of glass pierced my skin causing my blood to drip onto my carpet. "Miss me, Princess?," the voice I tried so hard to forget whispered in my ear. My body fell limp in his arms as black spots danced in front of me before he threw me over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.
Within seconds, my vision went dark.
Graysons PoV
"Where the fuck is she!," I yelled at one of my pack warriors who was supposed to be watching over her. I care about her obviously. She's my fucking mate. I can't not have feeling for her. It's the stupid fucking mate bond. I need to find her before it's too late. "Useless mother-."
"Alpha," my beta and best friend, Zane (who is Islas mate), said, interrupting me. I glared at him. "We found blood in her room."
My heart dropped in my chest.
"It's hers." I let out a yell before connecting my fist with the wall, leaving a pretty big hole.
Something was gonna happen. I knew that and my wolf knew that and no doubt he told her wolf who told her. My wolf, Ice, told me last night that something was happening. He told me that Dawn, her wolf, had mindlinked him telling him that someone was in the house and that they were in danger. As soon as he heard the news, he took over my body and raced to the house. By the time we got there, she was already gone and her scent had just vanished.
"None of you are going home until we've found her," I growled out at the high ranking wolves in my office. "Wolves need to be at the borders. Every hiding spot in this fucking pack needs to be found. She could still be here. Anything unusual must be reported back to me. Get to work!"
The wolves instantly started with their task. The trackers searched the pack. Warriors were preparing to fight while guarding the borders. Everyone else was just trying to find her scent.
When everyone left, Zane turned to me. "Should I tell Isla? She might have an idea as to who took the Luna," he asked. I nodded my head before telling him to bring her here.

There is a mole in my pack. I'm sure of it. I don't want anyone else to know that I had found my mate. I'm known as a ruthless fucking Alpha and now with her by my side I have a fucking weakness. This is why I didn't want a fucking mate. All my hard work throughout these years has been for nothing. How else could someone have gotten past the borders without us knowing? I can't believe one of my own fucking pack members would gladly turn on me.
I can't wait to find this motherfucker.
Within minutes, a knock resonated around the room. "Come in," I called out. Isla peeked her head in through the door as she spotted Zane before walking in fully and sitting on a leather chair in front of my desk.
"What's going on?," she asked, confused.
"Alana is in danger. I need you to tell me who's after her," I told her. She sat quietly for a moment. I wanted to scream at her and force her to tell me.
"I can't. It's not my story to tell and I promised her," she whispered so quiet I could just barely hear it.
"She's been kidnapped." Her snapped up in fear.
"No, she can't have," she muttered. "She's not gonna make it."
"What do you mean?," Zane asked.
"She's not gonna make it this time," she repeated loudly. "Last time, she just barely survived but I can feel it in my bones that it's gonna be much worse for her this time."
"Stop talking in riddles and just give me a fucking straight answer!," I barked.
"She was kidnapped. She was only ten years old. This man took her. We looked and looked for her for months. The kidnapper just dropped her off outside the pack borders."
"Pack meet-," I began to say.
"Wait!," she interrupted me. I gave her a glare before she apologised. "You should know why they took her. I can't believe I'm telling you this, I promised her. Her grandmother was a pure white wolf. Legend has it that it misses a generation which means Alana is the next white wolf, not her mom. We never found her kidnapper. He did something which traumatised her pretty bad. She wouldn't talk when she returned. It took almost a year for her to speak again."
I screamed in anger, flipping over the tables and chairs in my office. Zane quickly ushered Isla out, clearly not wanting her to get hurt.
An hour later, I sat on the floor with my head in my hands. This office was a complete mess. Papers were ripped and scattered everywhere. Glass was broken and little pieces covered the floor.
I need to go for a walk.
Ten minutes later, I found myself at my house. I avoided this house since I made her come back. I shouldn't have. I should've listened to her and not forced her to stay. I only wanted her there because I thought she was safer. I walked around the house. It was the exact same as the day before and the day before that.
Suddenly, I stopped outside her bedroom door, hoping to hear her snoring. For some strange reason, I always did this. Every morning, I would come here to have a shower and eat but before I ate, I'd stand outside her door, listening to her snores and her heartbeat which gave me some form of comfort. We weren't a normal werewolf couple and I guess listening to her snores for me was like a hug from her. I don't know how to explain it and that just sounds fucking weird.
It was silent.
Deadly silent.
And I hated it.
I pulled the door handle down before pushing open the door. I looked at her bed, only to see the ruffled bedcovers and a book near her pillow. Her slippers rested on the floor beside her bed. The huge window was windowless in a way. The glass belonging to it was scattered on the floor and a little on her bed. The floor length mirror she had was completely shattered and had spots of blood decorating it.
No doubt it was Alana's.
As my eyes trailed all around her room, I noticed her closet door was open; no one reported that. I walked in careful of the glass before entering her walk in closet. Her clothes lined the rails, her bags and shoes filled the shelves. A small couch sat in the middle of the enormous room with a small note on it. How did anyone not notice this? I cautiously held it before opening it.
She'll end up like your entire family. Dead
My claws elongated as I struggled to contain my anger. I knew exactly who sent this and who took her. I'm gonna kill that bastard this time.
