《FADING SCARS (Avenger/Pjo crossover)COMPLETED》The annoyance of beeping sounds

....
If Tony could have wished for anything, he would have wished for time off without any urgent phone calls. He thought that maybe he could have one day free for once.. A day with no worries, maybe? Just one that's relatively normal?
Okay...maybe he wouldn't ask for a normal day...that always seems to turn out with him battling something or other.
Tony was actually in the middle of fixing his artificial intelligence F.R.I.D.A.Y from one of Clint's 'epic' pranks, which, like always, concluded in a not so epic ending for his artificial intelligence. When his phone started screeching...definably not his normal ring tone. But Clint obviously didn't care when he switched it. The sound startled him a bit more than he'd like to admit, so their happened to be more whip cream on F.R.I.D.A.Y.S drive than there was in the first place.
Tony frowned and glanced at his phone.
It was Fury.
He pressed decline.
Tony went back to wiping whip cream off his AI system, ignoring the ringing from his phone. Apparently Fury had found away to keep calling even after he blocked his number.
Unfortunately his work was cut short by another beeping sound that rung through the air like a warning.

Stark frowned and turned around, just to be met with the frowning face of fury.
On every single one of his screens.
"Stark!" He barked, glaring menacingly which completed the whole eyepatch look nicely, in Tony's opinion.
"What did I say about declining important calls?" He asked, though Tony's only reply was to turn away from him and keep polishing his AI.
"Stark, I need you to listen to me. You might find that this news is a bit more shocking than normal." Tony snorted, grabbing his laptop off the counter. His fingers started typing, trying to get rid of the pirate invading his screens, so far no avail.

"Okay, first of all. I've seen shocking in person, not as exciting as it seems. Well...Not unless your obsessed with guys and hammers...," () Tony could feel Fury's eye boring a hole into the back of his neck.
Not a pleasant feeling.
Fury wondered how he would tell his news. He knew that it would come some what a surprise to the billionaire, which would be fun to endure. But it might be better to break it slowly...he debated with himself for a few seconds...
But deciding he might as well make it entertaining for him self, and said as flatly as possible.
"You had a sister,"
At those four words Tony dropped his fancy laptop on his foot. And let me tell you, that hurt...a lot. Not that that was necessarily what was going through his mind at the moment, but it still throbbed like crazy.
"WHAT?" Tony practically screamed much to Fury's obvious amusement.
"I think you heard me Stark." Tony stared at him, his mouth partially open in his own astonishment. "Wha-What, how? I think I would know if I had a sister." At this Fury gave tony a look.
"I think we all know that your father wasn't one to show that much fatherly love.
The second he found out it was a girl, he assumed she wouldn't inherit his skills and put her up for adoption. She got adopted by a couple by the name of Jackson, who both later on died in a plane crash." Tony clenched his fist, glaring at the old photo of his father on his wall. He knew that his father could be neglecting, but not that much.
"Why didn't anyone tell me? I want to meet her!" He accused with a hint of excitement underlining in his tone. Fury watched with a bit of sadness as the mans eyes glistened with hope. How could he tell him?

"Well, I guess I could say that the subject was never brought up, and partially because we didn't want your sister to be harmed in anyway, or involved in any of the wars. And...uh, Stark?" Tony glanced at Fury noticing his hesitation and started to get worried.
"What?" Tony asked a little too quickly in alarm of the pitied look Fury was giving.
"I'm sorry Stark, your sister died in a fire this morning." Tony's eyes pricked with tears, why? Being told he had a sister, just to be told she died?
"The thing is, that your sister and her second husband died in the fire, leaving her child, now a homeless orphan, alone with no other living relatives. And that is partially the reason that you were contacted. The boy doesn't have anywhere to go, and he's only seventeen, not old enough to live alone." Tony stared at Fury, realization slowly dawning on his face.
"He needs me to take him in?" Fury nodded slowly, as Tony processed that information.
"So you wouldn't have told me that I had a sister, and that she died, if I didn't need to take her kid in?" Tony pointedly accused, glaring at Fury who just shook his head.
"They are down at the station now, If I were you, I would go as soon as possible to meet them. I'm still having their files sent over, I'll get back to you as soon as possible, you got that Stark?" Tony stared at Fury in confusion.
"Their files? I thought you said their was only one?" Fury smiled and chuckled.
"You'll see stark, you'll see."
Tony frowned and held out his hand letting his suit cover his body like a second skin. His arc reactor glowing as he turned away from fury, the screens turning blank in his wake.
And than he took off toward the station, leaving behind a layer of glistening smoke.
