The next morning, I woke up to golden light shining through my window. It was nearly the end of November, so the autumn weather was in full swing and it was beautiful.
I decided to get up, get changed into some jeans, boots and Fred's jumper, and then went down to the nearly empty common room.
There I found quite a sight - George and Angelina whispering to eachother, with his hand around her waist. As soon as I realised what they were doing I turned and left - they thought they were alone and wanted to keep it a secret, and I wasn't going to spoil that.
I waited another ten minutes until I went down again, and by that time everyone was there and we went down for breakfast together.
When we got downstairs, I slumped down on the bench next to Fred and Katie, and immediately reached for the fried potatoes. They were my absolute favourite breakfast item. And had been since first year, so every Saturday morning, my friends would immediately pass me the bowl of fried potatoes. Once I'd piled my plate high with the potatoes, I reached for a sausage, a few rations of bacon, tomatoes and hash browns - yes double potato. Saturday was a day where I'd eat so many carbs and foods that we didn't get in the week as it was a treat - and it was the best day. Plus, I'd normally burn most of it off by running around the castle with everyone and helping the guys on the team train.
"So, who do you think will win the quidditch cup this year?" Alicia asked the table.
"Didn't you hear?" Lee said surprised.
"What?" I asked, grabbing a piece of toast in the process.
"Quidditch has been cancelled this year."

"WHAT?!" Me and Alicia said in angered unison. Lee rolled his eyes, while everyone else laughed at me and Alicia's dramatic reaction.
"They can't do that!" I said still shocked.
"Why did they do that?!" Alicia whined.
"Some sort of event the school is doing - i dunno really." Lee replied, now trying to get Colin Creevy's attention to get a picture of our faces.
"That's so unfair." I huffed, and ate my toast with a frown on my face.
How was I supposed to burn off steam without Quidditch? Even though I wasn't on the team, I helped them train and supported them! If I wasn't so scared of him, I'd go to Dumbledore himself.
After that whole fiasco, we all decided to go to Hogsmeade, and Cedric joined us. Somehow, we all squeezed into a single carriage - but Angelina was practically on George's lap (something I'm sure neither of them were complaining about.)
When we arrived, the boys wanted to go to Zonkos as well as Alicia, so me, Katie and Angelina went to Honeydukes to get some sweets.
I got some chocolate frogs for Katie, Alicia, Lee and Ron, saltwater taffy for Hermione, Angelina and George (maybe the last two could share it with eachother), and some Bertie Botts every flavour beans for Ginny, Neville and Harry. I couldn't find Fred's favourite butterscotch fudge, so i went to the counter to ask for it. Turns out the shelf wasn't restocked, so they gave me two chunks for free - Fred was going to be overjoyed.
We walked outside and sat on a patch of grass, laying out a massive blanket to make a sort of picnic. When the boys arrived, we shared out the sweets and food we got and had a small autumn picnic as the leafs fell around us. It was very beautiful. So beautiful in fact, we got Colin to take a few pictures of us - and I payed him handsomely. We got a few still ones, but a moving one for each of us too. My moving one was of me, Fred, Cedric and Katie. Fred had his arm around my waist, hugging me to his chest as a leafs landed on us all around. Cedric had his arm around Fred and Katie's shoulders, laughing, and a leaf landed on Katie's face, making her laugh. It was my favourite picture I ever had.

"You got a good one there Y/N"
I turned around to see Fred peeking over my shoulder at my picture.
"Yeah it's my favourite one now for sure." I said a smile on my face as I looked down at it.
"Is it because I'm in it?"
"Oh shove off Fred!" I said lightly shoving him and quickly running away.
"You're going to pay for that one Black!" He shouted, running after me as I sped up the hill back to the carriages.

Grinning Enigma
Freddy is a very bad boy. Meets some people that know what he did. He tries to escape punishment, makes it [Redacted]. Freddy might be a mass-murdering troll, but he isn’t a bad person, right? Right? Disclaimer: This is not an instruction manual. If you want to be a horrible human being, go figure it out yourself. Autopsy: Writing this story gave me some degree of insight into how much I've managed to fuck up my own personality by suppressing basic needs. Now I hate myself even more. It started as a story where the MC was supposed to be a blend of the NZ-land shooter and other cancerous personalities. That way I wouldn't feel bad about torturing him. Instead I ended up witnessing all the worst aspects of my own personality, or lack thereof. I'm a horrid person, I can't even bring myself to do what's the only right thing at this point.

GLADIUS // Eret X Reader
PHANTASM SERIES BOOK 4---Gladius, (noun): (in ancient Rome) a short sword.---Eret perked up as soon as you and Simon walked into the room, a wide and welcoming smile coming onto his face. He was softer looking than his father had been, but you could still see some of the similar traits. He had a head of thick dark curls, and the same sharp jaw that his father had had. He wasn't as bulky though - he was tall and thin - and his face was a lot more open. What separated him most from his father's likeness though was the colorful cape, and the large mirrored glasses he wore - swirling with colors reflected from the room. He stood from his seat when Maven let the doors swing shut behind her, that wide smile still on his face. "You must be the embassy.""And you must be King Eret." You said, stooping into a bow. "Oh, there's no need for that." Eret said as you rose from your bow. He stepped down from the dias where his throne sat - colorful cape trailing behind him - and came to stand in front of you, taking your hand instead. "I'm not really one for formalities." He grinned, shaking your hand. His palm was warm against yours, and you could feel some slight callouses - most likely from practicing his sword work.
