∘₊✧───Narrator's pov.───✧₊∘
It was a warm, and sticky night. The woods were dark, with fireflies glowing in and out of view. A few of the blue team heard rustling up in the trees but ignored it thinking it was some animal.
"Alright, the enemy has the advantage here, so we need an advantage of our own." Annabeth said looked to the Apollo kids. "You all get into the trees and act as snipers. Don't stay in one spot for too long or the Demeter kids will get a bead on you." Turning to Hermes cabin, she said. "All of you, use whatever skills you possess. Hermes kids, search for traps and the like, we'll need to take those out fast. If you've got magic, then use it to cover us from afar. The rest of you with me. We'll punch right through their lines and keep their attention while a few of us get the flag. Percy is on board patrol."
Far away, Chiron blew a conch horn he kept in hand.
There were many whoops and yells in the woods, the clanking of metal, kids fighting. Archers rained trap arrows down from above, while magic flew by their heads, turning enemy troops to various livestock.
Though there were some kind of odd mischief.
The Demeter kids were being taken out by the Hermes kids, them sneaky bastards were moving silently but suddenly tripped over or were distracted by rustling and random arrow shots as they tried nabbing some of the farmers from behind at the beginning of the battle.
The Hephaestus kids- who were a group of four, had ganged up on a Athena kid but one of them got hit by an arrow from the shoulder while another kid got knocked out by the forehead almost like Goliath.
Aphrodite kids had taken to manipulating the blue team into fighting each other, though sometimes when they had tried their allure and Charm-Speak on them, they will jump when arrows whizzed down near there feet making them distracted and scream from the surprise.
When the Apollo kids tried to find out who it was, they were suddenly confused when a couple of their own arrows would disappear. Because whenever they picked one arrow, three or two more would disappear from their quivers.
Though Athena kids were more confused, they would also get distracted from the rustling of the trees when they knew that the Apollo campers weren't there, but heard strange owl-like noises which either sounded fake or real.
Mika, the one who did all of the mischief, snickered and ran off or jumped away on tree branches one by one to a little creek that gurgled over some rocks.
She saw Percy, with his big blue-feathered helmet and a huge shield. He was cornered by some Ares campers and Clarisse, the leader of that small group.

She crouched down on her branch while Percy was already on the river, soaking from head to toe and his hair stood up, his clothes singed a bit. Her eyes went wide when she saw electricity ran through Clarisse spear.
"Not a bad spear...prefer Gae bolg." Mika muttered since Clarisse's spear looks almost the same as the red one, she then pulled an arrow from her quiver, aiming at one of Clarisse's technical half-siblings.
The arrow whizzed silently as possible as it hit the camper right in the arm, the guy let out a piercing screamed and clutched his arm. Clarisse spun around and found one of her goons on his knee with an arrow stuck on his shoulder.
"Who did that?!" Clarisse yelled angrily but instead of a voice, another arrow was shot and hit a goon on his shoulder blade. The boy grunted in pain and clutched his shoulder area.
"Come out here you sneaky bastard!" She yelled again.
Using that momentum Percy tackled Clarisse on the river and swung his heavy sword at her. Clarisse panicked a bit and blocked it with her own spear, while Mika distract her other goons who were busy searching for her.
Clarisse tried to stab Percy and he avoided it narrowly, the spear grazed Percy arm and he flinched, but Percy shook it off and swung his sword at Clarisse spear, broke it in the process. Clarisse let out a loud cursed while Percy gave her a kick squared on the chest. Clarisse landed on the ground with her back and he stared at Percy with disbelieved looks. Then a yelling came from behind Percy, and Luke ran as fast as he can with the red team flag on his hand.
"It's a trap!" Clarissed yelled and ran to Luke, with her goons behind her.
When they were close an arrow landed on the ground halting all of their movements.
"Hello!" Everyone looked to the trees to see Mika upside down.
Clarisse, who was angry. Ran to punched her, aiming for the gut. But she jumped down, and aimed an arrow from her bow at Clarisse's face, she stumbled and looked at Mika with furious looks, eyes blazing, full with hatred.
"You!" Clarisse screamed at her, "You asshole!"
Mika clicked her tongue. "Language, child of war."
Clarisse cursed when she realized Luke managed to cross the river and the blue team won the game. Athena's team exploded into cheers. The red banner shimmered and turned to silver. The boar and spear were replaced with a huge caduceus, the symbol of cabin eleven. Everybody on the blue team picked up Luke and started carrying him around on their shoulders. Chiron cantered out from the woods and blew the conch horn.
Clarisse pushed Mika away from her and stormed to her own team in anger.

"Mika? How are you here!?" Percy almost screamed at her face. "Easy there Perce, Chiron allowed me to join. At least your not that hurt." Percy face palmed at my answer "Seriously?"
Mika snickered, stretching her body "Well, at least you won right?" She said making him sigh, "Not bad, hero." A voice said which made both of them confused.
"Where the heck did you learn to fight like that?" It asked. The air shimmered, and Annabeth materialised, holding a Yankees baseball cap as if she'd just taken it off her head.
"You set me up," Percy said angrily, because of the fact that she'd just been invisible. "You put me here because you knew Clarisse would come after me, while you sent Luke around the flank. You had it all figured out." But Annabeth just shrugged. "I told you. Athena always, always has a plan."
"A plan to get him pulverized. If I haven't intervened, they would've maimed him which concludes that you wanted them to make themselves be disqualified." Mika snapped to the Demigoddess.
"Sorry, I came as fast as I could. I was about to jump in, but...you came instead." She continued apologising to Mika and then noticed Percy's wounded arm.
"But Percy, how did you do that?" She asked him.
"Sword cut," He said. "What do you think?"
"No. It was a sword cut. Look at it."
Mika then looked at his arm and realised the blood was gone.
Where the huge cut had been, there was a long white scratch, and even that was fading.
As they watched, it turned into a small scar, and disappeared.
"I—I don't get it," Percy said confused while Annabeth was thinking hard.
"I think you should step out of the water, Percy." Mika asked and when Percy was about to speak "Trust me on this." She told him.
Percy just nodded and came out of the creek and immediately felt bone tired. He almost fell over, but Annabeth steadied him. "Oh, Styx," she cursed. "This is not good. I didn't want... I assumed it would be Zeus..." She muttered but then a canine growl was heard, and a howl ripped through the forest.
The campers' cheering died instantly. Chiron shouted something in Ancient Greek,
Annabeth drew her sword while Mika prepped her bow and arrow.
There on the rocks just above us was a black hound the size of a rhino, with lava-red eyes and fangs like daggers. It was looking straight at Percy.
Instinctively, Mika shoved Percy to the side when the monster jumped, it swatted her with one of its paws and in a flash, her back hit a tree with a thud and a yelp from her. When she opened her eyes, she saw the hound claw Percy's back, leaving a deep wound.
-Mika's pov.-
With a growl, I threw threw bow away then summoned a spear behind me and made a run for it. Ignoring Chiron who was ready to shoot the hound. I jumped when I was near the hound and raised my spear.
"Eyes up mutt!"
The hound snapped its head at me and stared with wild looks as I stabbed it on the back where the heart might be, I pushed my spear deeper until the tip pierced out to hit the ground. The hound howled in pain as I slid my weapon out from its back and landed on the ground. The body of the hellhound melt into shadow, soaking into the ground until it disappeared, I quickly looked to Percy who still laid on his stomach, whith blood already pooling beneath him.
"PERCY!" I screamed and ran towards him, "Oh gods..." I muttered while Percy grimaced and blinked "What...just..." he mumbled then Crystal appeared and kneeled beside me, "Mika...is he going to..." She mumbled but I shook my head. Chiron trotted up next to us, a bow in his hand, his face grim.
"Di immortales!" Annabeth said, coming beside us. "That's a hellhound from the Fields of Punishment. They don't ... they're not supposed to ..."
"Someone summoned it," Chiron said. "Someone inside the camp."
Luke then came over, the banner in his hand forgotten, his moment of glory gone.
Clarisse then yelled, "It's all Percy's fault! Percy summoned it!"
"Shut up, don't be a spoiled brat Clarrise!" Crystal told her which shocked me, she never snapped like that before.
"You're wounded," Annabeth told Percy and got an idea. "Quick, get Percy, in the water." She said to me and I nodded, and with Crystal's help we pulled him up.
"I'm okay." Percy mumbled but I just glared at him "That's literally Bull," I said while Annabeth looked at Chiron and said "Chiron, watch this."
Crystal and I laid Percy on the water, with the whole camp gathering around us.
Instantly, the cuts on his chest closed up. I gasped when I saw something shiny above him, There was a glowing symbol that looked like a trident hovering above his head.
"Look, I—I don't know why," Percy said, trying to apologize. "I'm sorry...."
"Percy, I don't think they're staring at you..." Crystal mumbled while also looking up.
"Your father," Annabeth murmured. "This is really not good."
"It is determined," Chiron announced.
All around, campers started kneeling, even the Ares cabin, I soon kneeled as well when Annabeth and Crystal did. "Poseidon," said Chiron. "Earthshaker, Stormbringer, Father of Horses. Hail, Perseus Jackson, Son of the Sea God."
This is going to get worse, isn't it?

The Hopeful Project
A pair of twins stumble their way into the world of blood magic, lizard people, and cultivation powered mecha-armor. And by stumble, I mean one of them falls on their face while the other laughs. [Writathon Participant] People read this far? What are you doing down here? Escape! The chapter buttons are over there, stop reading this. No? Fine. This book is an excuse to put a world I spent around 3-4 months of my life building over the pandemic into writing. I was planning on doing the writathon last year, but somehow managed to confuse October and November. Dont laugh, I'm already ashamed enough. This book is about a pair of twins, doing twin things: calling each other names, going to school, learning how to use their blood to become unstoppable, juggernaut, killing machines... You know, twin stuff. It's like if someone stuffed a school arc inside of a tournament arc inside of a war arc. A good time, basically. I hope you enjoy it.

Into the Feywild
I've never considered myself to be much of a fighter. In fact, I had no notion what it was all about. I couldn't envision a war amongst people, especially my own. In this odd realm, a timid half-elf has little chance of success. Especially with minimal experience. I've only fought as a means of survival, self-defense, if you will. I had known only humans, so the concept of elven culture and family was foreign to me. And yet, here I am, in the midst of a tremendous battle between two Feys and a God. I never planned for things to turn out this way, or for me to get caught in the great shambles of war—a conflict between good and evil. My two companions are practically strangers to me, knowing nothing but my name. This journey was not something I had planned or wished for, but it was what the Gods gave me.◈ ◈ ◈Meli, a young half-elf traveling the Material Plane, is unexpectedly captured while on her travels, only to become a member of an odd group of individuals. Crane, an older wizard castaway from his college for practicing unnatural magic, and Kurky, a youthful and lively gnome who is as fascinating as they come. Meli's curiosity gets the better of her as she chooses to accompany them on their not so concrete journey into the Feywild. Little did they know of the constant war raging within this woodsy plane. Maybe Meli will discover everything she's been looking for, embracing love and pleasure along the way. Or perhaps she'll become a part of something bigger. © Copyright to EmmeMeadows 2021
