"Mi...a"
Hm..? Who's there?
"M..ik...a"
Who's...calling my name...?
"Mika, please wake up..."
"Percy?....Crystal?" I can only mutter...Are they calling me?
"Mika, it's me...your dad."
My eyes slowly opened up when I heard that. "D-dad?" I mumbled again and saw him looking at me, I realised that my head is on his lap and we were on a grassy field with a glassy sky that I can partly see.
My dad-Solomon, was still silent as one of his hand caressed my face. Reaching out to it I realized that only four of his fingers had his rings...I almost forgot that he gave one of his rings to me, I don't wear it much in school since people kept teasing or get ideas that I am a rich spoiled brat since my dad's ring is made of gold.
"You injured yourself you know? Broken ribs, a sprained ankle, glass cuts and a cold? Didn't Asclepius told you long enough that if he finds out if your hurt even a single bit he'll literally drag you back to the Hanging Gardens?" He said with a tiny frown which made me huffed, annoyed at him. "I'm still alive aren't I? I'm probably unconscious now and got a check-up in an infirmary or something." I said and he huffed in an almost frustration. "Geez, You act like Ritsuka and Gudao." He said and I grinned, "They took care of me before we went to Chaldea in the first place. Then you took care of me when they go off to a singularity which took days which resulted to me calling you my dad." I said to him. "Well aren't I honored?" He said and acted faintly touched with his free hand on his chest making me groan and forced his hand on the side of my face to cover my eyes, "I really want to bite your hand now." I whined making him laugh and proceeded to pat my hair.

"...Did Mr. Asclepius know that I injured myself?" I asked when I remembered what that Servant really said when it was my last day on the Hanging Gardens. "Not yet," Dad said making me sigh in relief, if that man found out about my injuries he'll just heal me and stick a leak on my butt and hang me to a tree...there's a possible chance that he will get one of Gilgamesh's lions to guard me when he told me that.
"You know he's not going to do that right?" Dad told me. Ah, I spoke my thought again, well ain't that swell. "He and Ms. Nightingale tied Mr.Sherlock to a pole just because he uses drugs, even if it was still legal in his book timeline!" I exclaimed as I sat up. He tried to reason with me but gave up soon after.
"...So how long am I going to sleep?" I asked him, "Three days. Someone probably bandaged you already and your ankle might've healed a bit...you can still walk right when you wake up." Dad answered while I watched the blue glassy-like sky slowly turn orange and yellow, "The sky depicts the days in the real world actually." He said. So now it's the second day.
"I want you to return home, that's the reason why I'm here." I looked at my dad to see he was serious. "Why? I asked Merlin to tell you that-"
"I know, but there's been a situation." Which caught my attention, "I heard that the Mage Association here, had their own members missing. When they found one of them, he was already dead. Some presume it was a monster from one of the pantheons, it isn't proven yet though. That's why I want you to return, you can stay at this camp for a while, maybe help Medusa Rider and Lancer kill their monster counterpart on the way." Dad had explained to me.

It was kinda confusing, medusa's soul being cut to four, one being sent down to earth terrorizing people to statues while the other three were recorded to the throne of heroes. But it makes sense somewhat.
"Besides, the Greek gods are angry for some reason. I can't tell it to you but you will learn soon enough." He said, the look on his eyes pleaded me. "Okay, I guess I could find a way to tell that to Chiron." I sighed and dad patted my hair.
"Its almost your birthday too, and Jack might track you down just to meet you that day." He said and I widened my eyes, I forgot that its almost my birthday! "You forgot?" Dad said and looked amused, "I-I didn't forget!" I said to him and he started laughing and teased me...geez...
Grumbling, I then could see the sky turn into a Prussian blue color with stars popping out. On the far corners of the landscape, the Northern light appeared gleaming its cyan, purple and pink blanket-like rays of light. Beautiful
"I guess its time for me to wake up?" I asked and dad who nodded as she gently pulled me to lay my head on his lap again. "Don't get into too much trouble...okay?" He said and I nodded almost sleepily as my eyes closed...feeling his hand on my hair again before waking up...is a nice feeling...

"Well aren't I honored?" He said and acted faintly touched with his free hand on his chest making me groan and forced his hand on the side of my face to my eyes, "I really want to bite your hand now." I whined making him laugh and proceeded to pat my hair.
"Quick Merlin! Tell me an embarrassing scene about my dad!" I said as I sat up straight and the Caster appeared in a flurry of pink flower petals and laughed. "One time when your dad was still Dr. Roman he liked me when I'm a girl named MagiMari which he idolized and made a shrine to! He never knew it was me until the end! But everyone did when they first saw me!" Merlin said which resulted to me and him laughing, "I didn't know you were-mmph!" My voice was cut off when Solomon covered my mouth with his hands.
"Merlin! Didn't I tell you to forget that!?" Solomon shouted to Merlin, "How can I not forget!? You still Idolize me!" He said to him. Which soon made both men chase each other while I laughed since Merlin kept saying many embarrassing stories of my dad wether he was still Solomon or Romani or him in the present. Garden of Avalon's only Resident my fellow peeps. (Note that I might've meant the marshmallows.)

Blood Quest - A LitRPG
Leon's family has been diagnosed with a new type of incurable blood disease. It's an absolute death sentence and when it turns aggressive, you only have a few more years of painful life left to live. His mother has just begun the last years of the disease when a person supposedly comes back from death with supernatural abilities. He talks about a choice you get after death--get an extra chance to come back to life, or die. Even with Leon's diminishing life span, he won't consider the option of going there, until he meets another survivor who had the same goal as him and succeeded. Leon has a choice to make—die now for a chance to save his mother, or die in a few years, where the disease rapidly melts his muscles from his own body. He enters a game-like world, a sort of limbo, where his ultimate goal is to climb the tower of Katastroph before his mother's time runs out. There are a few problems with this though. The tower is almost impossible to beat, if you die you won't revive, and only three people in over twenty years have actually made it back. Leon has two years to climb the tower, with the help of the few people willing to try, while Ai, the tutorial guide, makes things harder for them. ***** The story starts pretty dark but goes onto a lighter tone. Then (more) dark again. Disclaimer: This story is an experimental project and I hope to get any and all feedback you can give me. Warning: First draft. Chapters tend to be between 3400-4100 words long (about 8-11 A4-pages). Mentioning it since I've seen it in other fictions :P Sometimes they're shorter, sometimes they're longer. ******************************** CHAPTER RELEASES UPDATE: As the first "book" in the series is done, I'm going to release coming chapters somewhat sporadically, and when Writathon ends, I'll probably go back to publishing one chapter per weekend. We'll just have to wait and see! I hope you enjoy the story! I really appreciate all comments and feedback, so if you have anything to say, feel free to voice it :) ************ [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

Founding of Humanity - Animalist
This is the dawn of the age of mankind. It is time to push back the wilderness and establish the kingdoms and empires that will govern this land. Players, the elect of the gods, are now coming to help humanity fight back. The dark ages are ended, and now is the time to lay the foundation! Now is the time to establish civilization! This is the Founding of Humanity! I am building this world for my own amusement, releases are not on any kind of schedule. I got to thinking "what if a beast tamer was changed by what they tamed" and this game mechanic sprung to mind. I do not know where this story is going. The main character is becoming a skill hoarder, as that is an advantage of the class design. The game system in this story is insipred by Log Horizon and Sword Art Online, where you get a skill and that is the skill, instead of getting a skill and then leveling it through tiers and rankings.
