-Mika's pov.-
"Just remember the short meanings I told you, I heard from the Music teacher that we're mostly doing Identification and multiple choices- oh, and an essay," I told Percy, tomorrow's the last day of the exam and we were studying one of the last subjects which were Latin. Grover left a few minutes ago so we were alone in the room.
I waved goodbye to my friend and walked back to my room to see Crystal sleeping on her desk area, her arms covered her head which was near an open book about Greek mythology.
"The three furies; Alecto, Megaera and Tisiphone..." I mumbled when I looked at the page she opened, maybe that what Mrs. Dodds is, well one of them. I shrugged and took Crystal's blanket to put it on her, closed the book, turned off the lights, and went to my bed and slept.
-Mika's Dreamland-
-Narrator's pov.-
"Ōhayo, Mika-chan!"
Mika's eyes snapped open and sat up to see she was in a field of many colourful flowers and tall grass, she then frowned knowing who did this. She then flopped down on the grass and looked up to see the mage of flowers "Nice to see you too, Merlin." She said while he smiled and helped her up "I'm gonna show you something, close your eyes and take a seat in this wheelchair, okay?" He asked her and when she rolled her eyes.
"We're not spying on people again, right? And why a wheelchair?" Mika asked him but when she sat on the wheelchair they were immediately transported to a familiar room.
"And we are spying...on Percy."
"It'll be fun, I promise. And you'll sleepwalk if you, well, walk of course." Merlin answered and she sighed but jumped a little when Percy threw a Cambridge Guide to Greek Mythology out of frustration at them, but since Mika and Merlin were in Dream form, it just passed through them instead. "Is it weird that I don't feel sad for his dyslexia but do at the same time?" Mika asked the Caster "Well that's your opinion" he said as Percy paced the room. "He's probably thinking of asking Mr. Brunner. Since he threw that book," Mika unconsciously said and facepalmed when the boy picked the book up and started to leave the room. "Me and my big mouth," "Blame the detective, not your mind Mika-chan," Merlin said and moved the wheelchair to follow Percy.

As Percy walked downstairs to the faculty, Merlin transported Mika and himself downstairs to the faculty offices. Mr. Brunner's was the only door that was ajar, with light from his window stretching across the hallway floor. As Percy walked to the door's handle, two voices were heard, but what can be heard now was Grover's voice: "...worried about Crystal and Percy, sir." He was saying and Merlin wheeled Mika closer to the door.
"... alone this summer," Grover was saying. "I mean, a Kindly One in the School! Sure, Percy killed it, but still. Now we know for sure that they know too—"
"We would only make matters worse by rushing them," Mr. Brunner said. "We need them to mature more."
"Please don't tell Percy and Crystal are what I think they are." Mika mumbled, "I won't" Merlin chuckled as they heard Grover's voice next:
"But Percy may not have time. The summer solstice dead-line—"
"Will have to be resolved without him, Grover. Let him enjoy his ignorance while he still can."
"Sir, they saw her..."
"Their imagination," Mr. Brunner insisted, which Mika scoffed at "The Mist over the students and staff will be enough to convince Percy and Crystal of that."
"Not everyone," Mika muttered.
"Sir, I ... I can't fail in my duties again." Grover's voice trembled with emotion. "You know what that would mean."
"You haven't failed, Grover," Mr. Brunner said kindly. "I should have seen her for what she was. Now let's just worry about keeping Crystal, and especially Percy alive until next fall—"
The book Percy held fell to the ground with a clack. He scooped it up and backed down the hall while Mika and Merlin stayed put. Mr. Brunner's door opened and revealed the teacher in his Centaur form with an archer's bow and arrow at hand.
"Well well. So I was right about him being Chiron's other-self. I guess you knew about that Merlin?" Mika asked and he hummed as she was correct "You were also right about Grover being a Satyr too." Merlin said as they went back to the field of flowers.
"Now that's over. With a snap of my fingers, you will automatically wake up fresh and early to start the day, alright?" Merlin said to Mika as she picked a pink flower.

"Sure, just tell Solomon that I won't be back until...early July, I think." She told him as she sniffed the flower and Merlin answered good luck for the test and snapped his fingers which made everything turn black for the girl.

Mika gasped as she woke up from the dream and turned off the alarm on her phone before it rang, which was close since it was one minute– or second– before it did.
She then looked to the side to see Crystal who was still sleeping with her head still on the desk which made her gaze soften, 'If you are who I think you are...I'll still be with you before the end times come.' She thought and went to wake her friend up.
"Five more minutes blomst" Crystal mumbled which made Mika huff.
"I know that means flower in Norwegian, but do you have to say it as my nickname?" She said to her, "You call me Cris and I'm half Norwegian. I'm not going to forget the first language I learned." Crystal answered her with a yawn, "Bare våk opp du late Hillside(Just wake up you lazy hillside). After breakfast, we're reviewing." Mika said to her as she got their uniforms. "Bot...(fine)"
A few hours later, it was already the afternoon.
Mika was one of the few who finished the test first and was leaving the three-hour-long Latin exam, "I'll pack all our bags first, okay?" She said to Crystal who was still on the third page. "Oh and Nancy?" Mika called as she was by the door.
"Don't expect anything in your room." She smirked making Nancy pale which made her laugh menacingly as the door closed after she left. The class was reminded right then and there why she was considered the most dangerous person in the school and all went back to minding their own business.
'She won't do it...right?' Crystal thought but suddenly heard Mika's laugh again making her sweatdrop. "Never mind..." She muttered as Mr.Brunner checked outside for the dark-auburn (which almost looked brown) haired girl.

'Last day of term' Mika sighed happily and was stuffing her clothes into her duffle bag. Everyone else was talking about their summer plans. One guy was going hiking in Switzerland, another was cruising the Caribbean for a month.
They were all rich, money-wise. They asked what she'd be doing this summer and she told them: "I'll be going to the beach, a private one with a large cabin."
But what she is gonna do is join Crystal and her dad on vacation. Crystal's dad was rarely home and when he had permission for a two-week leave from work, he told her that they can take a vacation in a cabin on Montauk. Crystal thought "What if you stay with us for vacation? I can ask him if it's alright?"
So Mika agreed but she had to go back to Manhattan to reload her items to start the vacation. Crystal offered her a ride but she insisted on getting a taxi and will meet them at their cabin with her 'mom' so Crystal gave her the address.
As Mika rode the taxi she thought of the many possible ways on what Percy and Crystal are, 'Well I know Chiron is in school meaning its someone important...Grover's a satyr so there is a demigod...or two. Now for Crystal, she does like magic, her eyes seen to glow whenever she looked at a magic trick whether it's real or not...she never knew her mom...Demeter? Maybe Hecate? Now for Percy, it's obvious that it's a male god...Couldn't be Apollo or Aries...He'll be doomed if his dad were one of the big three-'
Mika stopped thinking when she realized the car had stopped as it arrived at the destination, she paid the taxi driver and walked with a suitcase in tow.
'Well if he is the son of that god...' "Might as well protect him and Crystal, right?"
She mumbled and went to the building she used to live in for a whole week, Irisviel was waiting for her in their apartment and she couldn't wait to tell her what she'll be doing!

Crystal's last name, Steinback in Norwegian means stein 'stone' + bakke 'hill'.

Living With Magic
Arthur, a young magician, is struggling with crippling social anxiety. The issue has reached a point where he likely won't graduate from University. Reaching a crossroads, he must decide whether to try and return to a family he despises or make his own path in the world. Is the magical power he has actually beneficial in the real world? Authors Note: I'm terrible at writing a synopsis, but over time I hope to write a better one. One of my favorite series of books is the Magicians by Lev Grossman and I hope to follow that same line of thinking within my story. How would a society built around magic actually exist and is power and magic actually as great as other stories make it out to be? The story and characters will be completely original and I will try to update the story on a regular basis. Also, any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Humans Are Evil (completed)
A world of magic, where empires rise and fall, and where civilization is never safe from the perpetual menace of the monsters that roam the land. In this volatile landscape Fera is reborn and must adapt to this new and ever-changing world. She will grasp at whatever opportunities she finds to escape her unfortunate birth as an orphan. Either excelling, or wallowing in self-pity, Fera will question if this world of magic was as fantastical as she initially thought. Note: The story is technically a litRPG, but much less like a game and more akin to real life, for example obtaining a class does not give free skills to the individual, it’s the other way around! Skills are what unlock your class, so an individual who learns magic skills will unlock mage classes, classes then provide passive buffs and stats, in my opinion this makes everything feel more earned so that the power levels in the world are more natural, rather than every single random person being a powerhouse.
