It was the day after (Y/N) arrived back in Miyagi, and today she went to school, but the girl was to down in the dumps to stay there all day. So she popped into her homeroom and told her teacher she wasn't feeling good.

Then with her lovely charms she managed to get all her school work early that day. And right when the papers were in her possession (Y/N) walked right back home.

But even thought she was at home (Y/N) still couldn't focus on the work. The images of the boys playing volleyball kept playing in her mind, over and over. Imaging them failing or getting hurt was flashing in and out of her thoughts.

"No stop it (Y/N), their not that helpless they can do fine on their own, besides I shouldn't even care about how their doing.".

But even though she said that, the girl didn't fully believe her self. That's why right now the local news was on and (Y/N) was watching clips of the current volleyball games while she did her work.

"I'm just watching volleyball because I kinda still like volleyball, not because of Karasuno, I'm not watching just because of Karasuno." she told herself.

First the news anchor said that Karasuno had won their first match, then beat a crazy two meter guy. "See their fine, they don't need me....no I shouldn't even care if they need me." she muttered to herself.

Now that the ravenette was more at peace she was able to finish all of her work and then finally get a goodnights rest.

Today (Y/N) did the same thing she did yesterday, she turned in her work from the day before, she grabbed her new work then left to her home. And like yesterday she watched the news about the matches that day. She watched all the clips and noted down every mistake that she noticed the teams making.

"Isn't Shittykawa supposed to be good?! He totally misplaced his feet on that set." the girl groaned between mouthfuls of her lunch.

"Ugh that bastard Ushijima won again?! Why can't they just fucking block that shit head!".

"What the hell Hinata rebounded off a fuking wall! That's some fucking spider man shit right there!".

"WHAT THE FUCK TANAKA YOU KILLED DAICHI!" she yelled as she threw her hands on the little coffee table. "Fuck fuck fuck we're gonna fucking lose now, oh wait shit they just put in Enoshitsa.....eh I guess he could lead them to victory.".

"FUCK YEAH ENNOSHITA YOU ACTUALLY FUCKING DID IT!".

And after an eventful day of yelling at her tv because of the games and because of the wack ass anime she started watching after the girl once again finished all her work. So she ate her dinner and got ready for bed.

It was once again the next day and also the third day of the tournament. It was the semi-finals, so it was a very important day of the tournament.

That is why (Y/N) walked a lot faster then she normally did the last few days to school. But the girl still lived quite far from the school, so when she arrived at the school the first games of the semi-finals already started.

"Hi Sensei, here's my work from yesterday." the girl said in her usual bored tone as she handed back the papers. "Oh (L/N) you're so smart why don't you ever stay for my class." the teacher sighed. "I'm smart that's exactly why I don't want to stay." the girl replied.

"Well why didn't you go to the volleyball tournament? You're apart of the team right? And it's the semi-finals so you should be there." the teacher questioned. "Nah I'm not apart of the team anymore." (Y/N) stated.

"Oh really that's too bad, Yachi-San said you were an amazing strategist.".

"I mean I guess I was, but they've been doing fine without me." the ravenette sighed. "Well yeah, but from what I heard they already lost the first set, and their behind on the second one.".

"W-What?".

"Well last I saw in the news the boys are losing right now (L/N).".

...

...

...

"(L-L/N) where are you going? I didn't even give you the work for today!".

(Y/N) sprinted off, not listening to a word her homeroom teacher was yelling at her. The girl ran past each door in the halls, dodging students and teachers all around her. Then when she reached the flight of stairs she jumped.

She jumped all the way down the stairs and landed back on her feet with a loud thud. And although the impact hurt her feet she continued running until she reached the school's entrance. That's when she paused to take off her indoor shoes and place them in her shoe locker.

Then she quickly put on her outdoor shoes before beginning to run again.

But where was she running?

Well although she didn't know why she wanted to run there the ravenette started running in the direction of the Sendi Stadium.

'Why am I even going there?' she asked herself as she ran over a bridge.

'I shouldn't care, I shouldn't care!'.

'They hurt me, they BETRAYED me, why do I feel like I should go help them?!'.

'I need to stop running! STOP RUNNING!'.

But no matter how much her mind protested (Y/N)'s heart had other plans. So her feet kept moving, getting slightly faster as she knew she was getting closer to her destination.

'STOP IT!'.

And for once her body listened, the ravenette had stopped right in front of an empty park. She looked around while she was trying to catch her breathe.

'I need to go home, they don't care about me, and I don't care either.'

"But you do care Nee-Chan!".

(Y/N) moved her head in the direction of the voice as fast as possible. But no one was around her, she was the only person on the street.

"You do Nee-Chan! We can tell you care about them a lot!"

Once again (Y/N) looked around, but there was still no one around her, 'I'm going fucking crazy, I should really head home.' she told herself as she turned her body around.

"Not that way silly the stadium is this way!"

Four familiar voice yelled in unison, and when she turned again there they were. Actually they weren't really there. The four boys bodies seemed to be made of light, like they were just figures of her imagination.

But they seemed real enough to (Y/N).

So the girl was speechless as she saw her four younger brothers smiling at her.

"You have to start running again Nee-Chan!" Hikura chirped with a slight giggle. "Yeah if you don't you'll probably miss the tournament." Mei added. "Yup yup and you wouldn't want that to happen right Nee-Chan?" Yasu smiled.

"Y-You guys...I-" the girl was still at a loss for words, the four people she missed most were standing there, all smiling like they had been the day they died. She took slow steps towards them, her body barley being able to move. But (Y/N) managed, and that's why she was now standing right in from of the four, still not knowing what to do.

"Nee-Chan....you have to let us go! You need to go live your own life." Asuka told her as he reached out his hand to her cheek. He was shorter then her, but he still reached, and although he wasn't actually able to touch her the girl still felt the warmth from his hand.

Or perhaps that was from her tears.

Either way the girl was still astonished as her four younger brothers smiled up at her all of them slowly reaching out to touch her face or hands. "You have to move on, stop being so sad and grumpy!" Asuka stated.

That's when she was finally able to talk again, "How could I forget you guys? You're my brothers.". Now the tears were falling down more, and not only on her this time, all four of the young boys had tears staining their cheeks.

"You don't have to forget us, you just have to stop blaming yourself for our deaths!" Hikaru told her sternly. "You let yourself suffer because of use Nee-Chan, and we always feel bad about that." Yasu said sadly.

"Yeah so just let us go, you'll feel a lot better when you do." Mei instructed his elder sister.

(Y/N) took a deep breathe, but her forgetting all the pain she suffered after their deaths wasn't possible for her.

"Listen, we know it'll be hard, but with the help of your team you could do it!" Haikaru continued.

"No, they won't help, they don't care about me." (Y/N) told them, the sadness in her being washed away by the frustration she felt because of the team.

"So what if Ojisan asked them to be your friends! They actually like you Nee-Chan, trust us we know everything!" Hikaru stated with a laugh, which resulted in all his siblings laughing a bit too. "But I'm being serious they actually do want to be your friends, they've grown attached to you (Y/N)." Hikaru explained. And that's when she knew just how serious the boys were, they had never really used her real name. It was always Nee-Chan, Onee-Chan, sometimes even (N/N), but never just (Y/N).

That's why she started to believe them, she started to think that the team actually liked her, that the friendship she built wasn't one sided.

"And don't lie, we all know you've grown to like them too!" Yasu smiled as he took his sister's hand fully.

"So that's why you have to go fight for what you want!" the four shouted in unsion.

And they looked at their sister to see her smiling, and it wasn't a pained smile, it wasn't forced, it was all natural. And it was a big bright smile, the kind of smile she used to have before her life came crashing down on her. (Y/N) was the happiest she had been in years, and it brought joy to each of her brother's.

"So I guess this is the last goodbye?" (Y/N) questioned the young boys.

"No way!" Mei yelled, which startled all his siblings, he wasn't normally the type to act so strongly towards something. "You'll still have us around, you can't really get rid of us." he told his sister. "Ah I guess you're right, the house is filled with your cute little faces." (Y/N) laughed.

"That's right! You can't fully get rid of us, you just have to get rid of all the guilt you put on yourself." Yasu instructed. "I'll try my best, and I'll get the team to help once they win the semi-finals." (Y/N) smiled.

"Ahhhhh I forgot about the tournament!" (Y/N) shouted as she looked around frantically for a clock, but there was none around. So the girl didn't know if the game had ended "We've been talking for so long! What if the game ended? What if they lost or someone else got hurt or if their tricks didn't work or-".

"Nee-Chan calm down, you still have time!" Asuka told her the girl, "Yeah you're the absolute coolest person in the universe, we're sure if you go run again you'll make it in time!" Hikaru boasted. "Ah you're right, I..I just have to go fight for what I want." (Y/N) told herself triumphantly.

"That's the spirit Nee-Chan, now hurry up and leave!" Mei exclaimed, and the girl was about to run off. But before she did she took one last look at her brothers, and she wrapped her small arms around each one of them.

And although they weren't actually there, (Y/N) could feel them, like she was actually hugging the ones she loved most. "Thank you, thank you for everything." she whispered to the four during their embrace.

"Anything for you Nee-Chan." Hikaru cried as more tears ran down all of their cheeks, the group knew this would probably be their last encounter for a while. "I love each of you, and I'll love each of your forever and ever." (Y/N) sobbed.

"We love you more Nee-Chan!" the four boys yelled out in unison, and the second those words we're spoke their light bodies started fading. Each particle of light flying into the cloud covered sky.

And soon (Y/N) was left in the empty street, tears flowing out of her closed eyes as she kneeled on the ground for support.

"Goodbye."

Then (Y/N) opened her eyes, she was standing on the side walk, still crying, and still out of breathe. She looked around and saw a clock near a street lamp, and when she studied the clock she realized the time hadn't changed. Her moment with her brothers was a special moment, so special that time itself stopped for the five of them to talk.

So with her new found motivation (Y/N) started running, and she was running even faster this time, like she was being guided by the winds.

Each long stride she took was bringing her closer and closer to her goal, closer and closer to the stadium containing the people she learned to care about. She ran with a smile on her face, she was excited to go see the team. To talk to them, to watch them win, to watch them know their going to the finals, and later see them get a ticket to nationals.

'I'm gonna go get what I want!' she repeated in her head, she drowned out everything else, only focusing on those same words and getting to the stadium.

'I gotta go, I need to be faster, faster!'.

(Y/N) started running faster, she ran faster and faster and faster, but not faster then the speeding cars.

"WATCH OUT THAT CAR IS STILL GOING!".

In an instant the small girl's body was hit and she flew across the road, screams of terror filling the street seconds after the collide. Then the car stopped, the screaming stopped, everything stopped for the girl who was lying in the street. Her body turning colder and colder as her blood escaped through the many wounds she obtained.

People started appearing next to her, but her vision was getting blurry and her eyes started to close on their own.

'My body feels heavy.'

"YOUNG LADY CAN YOU HEAR ME!"

'Ah the sounds are going away, do I not have my hearing aids?'

"THE AMBULENCE IS ON THE WAY!"

'Everything is turning dark, is it nighttime already?'

"DOES ANYONE KNOW CPR?!? HER HEART RATE IS SLOWING DOWN!"

'I'm tired, I want to go to sleep.'

"MOVE OUT OF THE WAY THE AMBULENCE IS HERE!"

'I think I'll just take a nap, I'm sure the guys are winning their game anyway.'

"THREE TWO ONE CLEAR!"

'I'm sure they'll win today, and they'll win the finals, they'll go to nationals like they always wanted.'

"CLEAR!"

'I'm sure of it, because their my team....and I love them.'

"CLEAR!"

'And I'll love them forever, forever and ever.'

"Time of death.......ten forty three pm."

Death.

Others see it as a tragedy, I did too at once.

I saw it as a way out.

My escape.

The only way I had out of the hellhole called life.

Living with no friends.

No family.

No reason to still be here.

But now I have a reason to still be here.

I made friends.

Some of them like family.

I made new memories.

All good reasons to live.

But I can't.

I was living a life not worth living, but the second I learn my life is worth something, I suffer a tragedy.

The tragedy known as death.
