《The Life Not Worth Living (HaikyuuxReader)》𝙰𝚟𝚘𝚒𝚍𝚒𝚗𝚐

I walked towards the water fountain since I said I would go do a refill. The guys should already be on their break so this extra water will be ready by the next one.
I filled the bottles and wiped them down a bit before I started walking back to the gym we were using. Then I also remember about the barbecue tomorrow, it's a surprise for all the teams from the coaches, but I think the boys know since they were doing some weird dance yesterday while they sang a song about meat.
When I got to the gym the door was fully closed, so I took one hand away from the basket to open it. Once it was open I got a glimpse of everyone insides, Yachi was near Kita and Aran while the rest of the team had their backs facing me.
"The real reason we became her friends, was only because Takeda asked us too, he wanted us to help her out. So....so we agreed since he's helped us a lot. And we were all in on it, except Yachi since she's new.".
What?
Before I knew it the water bottles and basket I had in my hand dropped and spilled all over the floor.
But I didn't care, I mean why should I.
I guess the crash caught their attention since everyone was now starting at me with wide eyes. They also looked hurt, but why would they be hurt, they're not the ones who gave their feelings out on a silver platter only to be crushed by reality.
And the reality that just crushed me hurt a lot.
Since I just learned, that no one really wanted to be my friend.
I felt like I wanted to cry, and I haven't cried in years.

They all looked like they wanted to say something, but I wouldn't give them the chance.
"How could you?" was all I could manage to say before I had to run out from that wrenched place. I heard Yachi calling my name, but no one else was, they probably didn't even care about me. But even if they did call out to me I wouldn't want to hear it.
So I brought my hands to my ears and quickly turned the dial on my hearing aids.
(see, you being deaf does benefit to the story)
I just kept running, I don't even know where I was going, or how I ended up in the garden behind the school. How ironic, I just got my feelings shattered and now I'm sitting under a cheery blossom tree and staring at my reflection from a little pond. Isn't this someplace where a girl would confess to the love of her life. And them magically have the same feelings as her, like in every cheesy romance book out there.
Well life isn't some cheesy romance book, it's a cold and dark hell hole that people are forced to live through until it's time for them to die.
And sadly, I haven't the pleasure of being able to die yet.
I ran after (Y/N) once she ran out of the gym, I saw her bring her hands to her ears, I think she may have turned off her hearing aids, she did say she did that a lot.
Calling out to her now was useless so I just tried running after her, which was still useless since she's a lot faster then me. Once she turned the corner she was completely out of my sight, now how am I supposed to find her.
I stopped running once I lost sight of (Y/N) so I could try and catch my breathe, that's when I saw the captain and ace of Inarazaki who if I remembered correctly is named Kita and Aran. Their really big and scary, but no Hitoka this is no times to be scared, they can help me find (Y/N).

"A-are you looking for (Y-Y/N) too?" I asked before they ran by me.
The captain looked kinda angry, probably because he's very close to (Y/N), she said he was always like a brother to her. Honestly if I were him I would be furious at the team too, actually I think I'm mad at them too, they betrayed one of my closest friends.
"Yes did you see where she went?" he questioned, his face seemed to soften a little when he was talking to me, I guess he's not mad at me. "No, I'm sorry she's a lot faster then me and she turned off her hearing aids so she couldn't hear me calling out her name." I explained.
"That makes things a bit more troublesome." he sighed, "I'll go look for her, you two can go if you wish." he stated. "No I'll help, she's a close friend of yours so she's a friend of me too and I won't let her run away when she's hurt." the ace spoke out. And that's exactly what I need to be saying too.
"Yes, she's one of my friends as well, and I won't leave her all sad and alone when she needs someone.". Woah, I can't believe I was actually able to speak out to him like that, especially when he's so intimidating.
Although he didn't say this our loud I could tell Kita-San seemed slightly happy with our answers, it almost looked like he smiled a bit. "Alright then, we should split up, I'll check in the around the outside since their isn't too much area to cover." he explained. "I-I can check inside, she might be in the managers room or even a girl's bathroom." I suggested and he nodded at me. "Aran could you also check inside with Yachi-San?", "Yeah I'll help her around inside.".
"Okay then, we should meet back at the front door before dinner, so in around forty minutes." I said. "Alright if you find (Y/N) just bring her to the meeting place and wait there for the rest of us." Kita said and me and Aran agreed before running off inside.
I really do hope she's alright.
I wouldn't be able to handle it if anything happened to her.
