Everyone walked into the house and was met with her beautiful figure, well and her giant house, she was lowkey kinda rich. "Whoa (Y/N) your house is so big!" Hinata exclaimed after he had taken off his shoes. "Yes it's very nice (Y/N)." Kiyoko added as she too looked around the house, "Well thanks.", (Y/N) simply responded. "But sorry if it's a little messy, I'm not feeling to well to clean." she added as she went back to sit on the couch.
"I never knew you lived here, we always pass by this neighborhood when we're going home." Asahi said (I realized I haven't given Jesus a lot of lines, oh lord please forgive me).
"Well I never walk home with you guys, so its to be expected." (Y/N) stated as she took some papers from Suga. "This is the work by the way, Takeda wanted to drop it off, but he said he had to stay back for work." he added as you flipped through the papers. "That's alright, thanks for dropping them off." (Y/N) said and threw the papers on the coffee table.
"O-Oh (Y/N) our teacher said you can turn it in on Monday since you were sick today." Yachi explained and (Y/N) just nodded at her. "So how are you feeling (Y/N)?" Daichi asked and the other all felt stupid now.
'Why didn't I ask her that first?'.
"Oh I'm fine, it's just a small fever, nothin to worry about." she simply stated, "That's good to hear, we can't have our newest member be sick all week and miss our training camp." Daichi sighed.
"Yeah don't worry I'll be all bette- wait what do you mean newest member?!" (Y/N) exclaimed, she was extremely confused, and so were the others.

"You're joining the volleyball club right?" Daichi asked as he looked at her, "Uh no, I can't join clubs." you said. "Yeah, Takeda told me the reason why, and I'm still fine with you joining, and besides you're suspension ends after exams, so you'll be fine." Daichi explained.
"Hold up I never even agreed to join you're club, what would I even do, you have two managers already I'm not needed." (Y/N) argued. "Well I never said you'd be a manager, but you could help managers out, you'd me more like an assistant coach." Daichi stated. "What why would I ever be a coach, I'm a first year that doesn't even play!" (Y/N) said still trying to argue.
"Well Ukai told me about your volleyball career, and I must say I never expected a player like you to join our little school." he said, Daichi was having a little to much fun with this. (Y/N) on the other hand wanted to strangle Ukai for exposing her once again.
"Did he tell you why I quit?" she asked, trying her best to keep her accent from coming out again.
"No, but I assume it was something bad if you gave up a another ticket to nationals." Daichi said.
"You could've went to nationals!" Hinata, Tanaka, and Nishinoya all yelled frightening poor Yachi and Asahi.
"Wait why did you say 'another'?" Yamaguchi piped in while the idiot trio were fawning over (Y/N)'s awesomeness in the corner. "(Y/N) and her team won nationals in her first year in junior high, the she won her team another ticket in her second year, but she never went to nationals that year, and didn't even play volleyball in her third year." Daichi stated.
"YOU WON NATIONALS TOO!" Hinata yelled and this fact was just added to the boys disscusion in the corner. "(Y/N) is this all true?" Asahi had bravely asked, "Yeah it is, what Daichi said is true, but I can't play again, not after what happened." (Y/N) concluded.

"Alright guys that's enough maybe we shou-" but the angel Sugwara was cut off by another loud remark by the baby sun Hinata.
"(Y/N) is this your family?!" Hinata yelled.
'Shit'.
"Uh I-". (Y/N) at that point knew no words to say, she hadn't talk about her family to anyone besides Takeda, and now a bunch of highschool guys and two girls were in her house asking about her family.
The rest of the members were shook as well, they remembered Takeda told them (Y/N) had no family left, but they weren't exact with the details. So right when Sugawara was about to scold Hinata for asking such a sensitive question, (Y/N) spoke up.
"Yeah, that's my family.".
Her lips were once again moving on their own, she didn't know why she had told them, they didn't need to know this. She hadn't even explained to them all how she was deaf, Yachi didn't even know she was deaf, so why was she suddenly talking about her family.
"You look really happy." Hinata continued, the ginger didn't know the impact of his words.
"Yeah, I was.".
"Is this when you still played volleyball?" he a had asked, the others knew they should probably stop him, but they wanted to see the ravenette slowly open up to them.
"Yup.".
"(Y/N), where are they?" that was the final blow, it was tugging at her heartstrings, and she didn't want to answer that questions. She kept telling herself to not answer that questions, she just needed to avoid them or just fully ignore the boy.
But she still did.
"They're...in a better place now." (Y/N) said.
Now the others were pretty smart so they knew what she had meant, even Tanaka, Nishinoya and Kageyama knew what she meant.
But Hinata didn't so he continued to ask questions while the others were stunned because of (Y/N)'s last answer.
"(Y/N) why is your mother in this picture, but not in this other picture with all the boys?".
This time (Y/N) had started walking over to him, her feet were betraying her as well, actually her whole body was betraying her.
"My mom passed giving birth to my quadruplet brothers." (Y/N) said with a weak smile, she was actually felling good talking about it. It felt like some type of weight was being lifted off her chest, and she didn't wanna stop.
"Can you tell me more about them?" Hinata asked.
"I- It'll be kinda boring, but if you really want I can, and you guys can leave if you don't wanna hear." (Y/N) said as she looked at the others. But they all just stayed quiet and found a seat somewhere in the house. They all just silently listened and watched (Y/N) and Hinata, some texted their parents they'd be home later.
As (Y/N) explained her past she started feeling a lot better, she was smiling while she was talking and her smile felt genuine. She didn't feel like it was fake or forced at all, and this smile it was a lot more beautiful then all the rest.

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)

Friendly Neighborhood Necromancer
To be taken to another world; isn't that the kind of thing that nearly everyone wishes for once in their life? To use their savvy knowledge of how things usually go in that situation to take advantage, and lead a life where they are the center and in control of their destiny. But in the stories, the one who is brought ends up with a grand power to help them through. Here, a man is brought to a foreign world as his new character in the VRMRPG, Underworld of Armok, at Level 1. In safety there are few benefits, only by taking risks far beyond his level could one proceed. Transported to another world, he wishes to do good and be a hero. Accumulating power to help the less fortunate. There's just one caveat; he's a Necromancer, and his greatest source of strength will probably get him lynched.Quick DescriptionAnother video game/isekai novel. Unfortunately, the MC has crossed over during character creation of a Necromancer and is Level 1. He also lacks the ever so helpful status window.Fair warning, the Friendly Villager Necromancer arc(1) is slow. He does not want to run out into the dangerous world to get killed right after arriving. Sucks to be Level 1, eh? Git gud scrub. It's basically a Slice of Life from his perspective. The Thread, in case you get a bit confused about people/places. [16+] Now probably! For strong language and violence! And anthropophagy and lewd intimations! And stupid jokes and obscure references! And philosophical ditherings and a slow pace! Make peace with the absurd, and come to terms with the terrible!
