《The Life Not Worth Living (HaikyuuxReader)》𝙿𝚛𝚊𝚌𝚝𝚒𝚌𝚎

The final bell rang so (Y/N) left the roof and made her way to the gym, where the boy's should already be practicing. But because the boys were still freaking out because of exams in the club room no one was at the gym yet. "I guess I'll set up." (Y/N) muttered as she made her way to the storage closet. She grabbed the poles the nets, and everything else needed to set up the net, once she was done she grabbed the cart filled with volleyballs. She pushed it onto the court and stared at the volleyballs in front of her.
Without her knowing she grabbed one, she spun it around in her hand unconsciously while staring at the net. "Fly." she mumbled, she wanted to play again, she wanted to see the view at the top of the net again. She wanted to feel the happiness she used to feel while she played the sport she loved so much. But that happiness was gone, and she always told herself that happiness wasn't coming back.
"(Y/N) what are you doing?" an angelic voice said, and it was obviously the beautiful Sugawara. (Of course it's Suga I mean who else has an ✨ANGELIC✨ voice beside Queen Kiyoko?!?!).
"Oh...I just decided to set up since none of you were here." (Y/N) said quietly and placed the volleyball back inside the cart. "You set up all by yourself? Thanks a lot that's really helpful." Suga smiled and (Y/N) just nodded in response. "If you don't mind I was wondering if I could watch again." the girl said still as quiet as before. "Of course (Y/N) your always welcomed here!" and Suga flashed his heavenly smile which made you feel like dying. 'How is this man so beautiful?!' (Y/N) screamed internally. "Thanks." (Y/N) mumbled and walked over to sit on the bench as the rest of the team entered the gym.
And after the team finished freaking out that (Y/N) was there again practice started.
Takeda and Kiyoko weren't there, and Ukai was curious as to why (Y/N) was there again, but his questions was answered real soon.

"Ugh you guys are so bad." (Y/N) said in her usual monotonous voice which caught everyone's attention. "Ah so that's why your here." Ukai stated which just confused the entire team and they were even more confused when (Y/N) nodded her pretty little head. "So why the sudden change of heart?" Ukai questions and the girl just shrugged. "You guys kinda suck, I'm surprised you made it that far in the tournament." (Y/N) explained.
And before anyone could retaliate (Y/N) continued "And besides I helped you before and you still lost, so I thought I may have to take a bit more drastic measures.". "Great, then their all yours." Ukai smirked. (Y/N) nodded at the man and rolled up her sleeves 'This is gonna be a looong practice.' (Y/N) said to herself. So as Ukai went over to sit on the bench and watch the boys were still as confused as before.
"Wait what's happening?" Hinata shouted and all the boys were relived that someone had finally asked. "Uh isn't it kinda obvious, I'm helping you guys out." (Y/N) said and tried her best not to glare at the mini sunshine. "And why would you help us." Tsukishima snickered and (Y/N) sent a bone chilling glare his way. "Cause I feel like it, now shut yer trap beanpole." (Y/N) spat out while the crazy trio tried their best not to laugh at Tsukishima.
So while the boys were still standing around (Y/N) climbed the chair Ukai was standing on and brought the volleyball cart towards her. "First things first, receiving, now if you all hadn't noticed you're receiving game is pretty weak."."I've only seen the guys on the starting line up receive, and on your starting line up only Noya and Daichi are actually good, Noya being the best.".
And all the boys felt their egos deflate, well except for Noya, he had a sudden boost of confidence.
"So you all need to be ready to always keep the ball up, you all get five tries, if I don't see at least three perfect recives its a found of diving laps." (Y/N) explained. "Now we're gonna go in number order, so yer up Captain." so the boys reluctantly followed her orders and went in order. "It's not fair if your gonna spike it." Ukai yelled and (Y/N) just shot him a dirty look. "I know that you geezer." (Y/N) growled causing the store owner to glare at her again.

"Now pay attention." (Y/N) said and before you knew it the ball was falling right in front of the net. So Daichi ran up and tried to receive it but missed, "You all never expect a feint, so you shouldn't always expect your enemy to just rely and pure strength." (Y/N) shouted.
So the practice continued with (Y/N) throwing the ball all around the court, making them run around and fail miserably. In the end everyone had to do flying laps except Noya who was extremely proud after (Y/N) praised him for his work.
After the receiving practice Kiyoko came in with little ole Yachi trembling behind her, "Um, I have someone to introduce." Kiyoko said and everyone gathered around her. "Not to close you bums your scaring her." (Y/N) shouted and pushed all the tall boys away as she approached the two girls. "O-Oh (L/N- I mean (Y/N)-San a-are you a manager here t-too." the poor blonde stuttered as she was still scared someone might kill her for talking to the beauties in front of her. "Nope I can't join clubs." (Y/N) said and walked out of the gym to grab a drink.
The others were curious as to why (Y/N) can't join clubs but they did't get to ask since Kiyoko started introducing Yachi. After a while the boys started practice again with Ukai who was laughing that none of them could do proper receive. Anyways a little into practice Yachi was helping Kiyoko with whatever she could. And (Y/N) slowly approached the gym as the boys practiced spiking.
(Y/N) entered the gym to see Yachi picking up the stray volleyballs and putting them back in the cart. So the poor little blonde didn't realize a ball was flying right at her, so out of instinct (Y/N) ran towards her classmate. She stood right in front of the ball and cleanly received it causing the ball to fly all the way back to the court and to the setters position where Sugawara had caught the ball.
Now everyone was shocked at (Y/N)'s sudden appearance, and then the fact she had just completed a perfect receive from that far away just added to the confusion. "Are you okay?" (Y/N) asked breaking the slightly awkward silence. "U-Uh um yeah, b-but I uh think I'm gonna just uh go h-home." Yachi stuttered and slowly walked out of the gym "Oh um wait I'll walk you out!' Kiyoko called out and walked out after telling (Y/N) a quick thanks for the help.
(Y/N) just nodded at her then turned her attention to the team who were all still staring at the girl. "Uh are you guys oka-" but the ravenette was cut off by the orange ball of fluff running at her and flaring his arms around. "(Y/N) HOW DID YOU DO THAT!" he yelled but didn't the girl much time to respond since he kept yelling. "OUT OF NO WHERE YOU WERE LIKE WHOOSH AND THEN MADE THE BALL GO LIKE LIKE BAM AND THEN LIKE WEEEEE AND AND.".
"Calm down Hinata." (Y/N) said and in an instant the kid was quite.
'How'd she do that?!?!'.
"But really how did you do such a perfect receive?" Sugawara asked and slowly approached the two first years.
"Oh you all didn't know, this shrimp played volleyball before." Ukai answered for the girl who just glared at him for the thousandth time that day.
"WHAT?!"
