Death.
Others see it as a tragedy, I did too at once.
Now it's a way out.
My escape.
The only way I have out of the hellhole called life.
Even if I have to take my life myself, I'm leaving today.
I always hesitated at first.
I thought it all might change in high school.
I tried hanging around for two more weeks.
But it's just as bad.
No friends.
No family.
No reason to still be here.
"H-Hey are you okay?".
I opened my eyes and saw an orange haired boy standing in front of me. Behind him were three other boys. They were all extremely tall, the tallest had blonde hair and glasses, he looks like a jerk. The boy next to him had green hair and freckles, he looks worried. While the last boy have very dark black hair, he was drinking a milk carton.
Why do the remind me of them so much?
"Yeah I'm fine, why?" I asked the boy that still stood in front of me with a worried look on his face.
"Why are you crying Nee-Chan?".
Suddenly this boy started to look just like him, and more importantly why the hell did he just say that.
"W-What did you say?" I stuttered, still having trouble processing what was going on.
"I asked why you're crying?" the boy repeated.
But that wasn't what I heard earlier, maybe I hit my head earlier while I was sleeping. Wait did he say I was crying, I put my hand on my cheek and felt the tears on them, isn't that weird.
"Oh that's embarrassing, I didn't even notice." I faked laughed as I wiped both of my eyes with my sleeves.
"Geez Nee-Chan there's no reason to cry.".
"Huh?" I questioned, this time looking at the blonde boy who I think is the one that just talked to me, but I'm not to sure since my hearing is acting up.

"I said what's the point in crying if you don't even know why, geez are you deaf or something." the blonde snickered. "Uh I kinda am." I replied and moved the hair covering my ears to show my hearing aids.
After that they were all silent and I just snickered at how awkward the blonde guy looked.
"Well anyways thanks for checking up on me, but I'm gonna get going. Bye~" then I left the roof and went to the nurses office.
Maybe she'll know why I keep hearing wrong.
"So even with your hearing aids you can't hear correctly?" she asked for like the millionth time. So I nodded at her and she sighed. "Well I can write you an excuse note for class, and I just recommend you get them checked by your doctor.". "Alright then thanks." I replied and took the note from her along with the lollipop that she insisted I take.
I read the note as I walked thought the empty halls, when I finished I just crumbled it up and shoved it in my jacket pocket. It's not like I really go to class anyways, I just grab the work I need to do then turn it in. I'll also attend class if there's a test or exam, otherwise my seat is always empty.
I continued to eat my lollipop as I made my way back up to the roof, lunch ended a while ago so those boys from earlier should be gone. I just don't wanna run into them, they remind me of them so much it's almost scary.
When I returned to the roof to my relief it was empty, so I sat back down on the bench and scrolled through my phone and listened to some music. About two hours later I heard the roof door open, but I didn't bother to look.
"(N/N) you can't listen to music all day come and eat!"

Once I heard that I threw off my headphones (your headphones are like Tsukki's so you can use it with the hearing aids) and looked back just to see Ojisan, he couldn't have been the one to say that....right?
"(Y/N) did you hear me?" he questioned with a frown, "Sorry Ojisan I didn't ." I replied nonchalantly and laid back down on the bench. "I asked if you're okay, the nurse told me you visited her today." he sighed.
Dang this man does nothing but work and worry about me, he should really go get married or something. Oh the guy I'm talking about is none other than my teacher and neighbor Ittetsu Takeda also known as the person who's prevented me from escaping life sooner. He always keeps an eye on me since he knew my parents before they passed and is a really close family friend. So even thought he's not my actual uncle I still call him Ojisan, unless I'm in class (which is very rare), there I call him Sensei.
"I'm all good, just don't think I'm hearing too good." I replied, "Okay then follow me and we'll head to the doctors." he said sternly. "No need, I just gotta rest, I'll probably head to the library and do my homework." I said. I walked towards him and took the folder in his arms that's filled with all my school work. "Fine we can go to the doctors later, but if your hearing isn't well you should come with me instead." he suggested.
Right when he said that I furiously shook my head no. "Aren't you the advisor for the volleyball club?" I questioned and he nodded yes, and that just added to my reasons not to go. "Now let's go, I need to be there since I have something to give the team." he explained. "Nope I'm not going." I argued and sat right on the filthy ground, "And why's that?" he asked. "One that's too many people, and two we both known I don't partake in sports anymore." I said.
Ojisan just sighed and rubbed his temples as he looked down at me, still sitting on the germ infested floor. "You won't be playing, and you won't have to talk to anyone, please just come and I'll drop you home after." he pleaded. "I can just walk home instead, I've been doing that for awhile since you're always so busy." I explained. But he just sighed, he looks stressed, ugh I'm just making things harder, this is why I should've just left this life a long time ago.
"Fine, let's go." I muttered and stood up while dusting off my skirt and still holding my folder filled with papers. "Great, and maybe you can make some friends while we're there!" he beamed but I just glared at him. "You said I don't have to talk to anyone." I growled and shoved the folder into my nearly empty bag. "Alright then, but let's hurry." he sighed and I followed him off the roof and towards the gym.
Normally I just hang out in the library and do any school work while Ojisan works with his club, then when clubs are over he picks me up from the garden outside (since the library is already closed) and drives me home. Or sometimes I would just walk home myself but now he's too worried to let me out of his sight just because of a simple hearing problem.
Ugh this is so annoying.
I was supposed to be free after today.
