《Exiled Wasn't The Best Choice》Chapter One
Advertisement
It was currently snowing very heavily outside when Y/n woke up from her accidental nap.
"Oh hello Brook!" Brooklyn was her cat that she'd had tamed before she got exiled. Brook meowed and purred.
"Come on let's go get you some food." Y/n hopped out of bed and climbed down the ladder that lead to her living room/kitchen/storage area. She rummaged in a chest of food for a second before pulling out some cooked cod. She put them in Brook's good bowl and went to look out the window. The snow looked to be around a foot deep.
~~Techno's pov~~
Techno stumbled through the snow, shielding his face with his cloak. Even though he was in his piglin form it was still freezing. He shifted back into a human and immediately regretted it.
Techno collapsed onto the snow, not realizing Y/n's house was mere yards away.
~~Your pov~~
Y/n squinted at the nearby forest. A unknown figure was walking closer. The person collapsed onto the ground and didn't get back up. She grabbed a cloak, rushing out the door quickly. Y/n ran over to the person and pulled them to her house. It was tough. The guy was much larger and taller then her.
She pulled the guy up the stairs that went up to her house, into the living room area, and leaned him against the wall.
"Jesus, Brooklyn medical supplies please." Brooklyn had a habit of bringing things to her when she needed them. She pulled off the guy's cape and began to search for injuries. There was a deep cut on his stomach, a couple on his face, but otherwise the guy was completely unharmed. Y/n did notice that his long pink pair was put up in a messy braid.
"Thank you Brook." She wrapped bandages around his stomach, noting that the man was quite fit, and putting a small bandage on his face were it was bleeding. Y/n put the kit away, grabbed some armor, and headed out the door to her mineshaft. She wanted to build a new stable for her horse but needed cobblestone and other materials. And she wanted to get her mind off the stranger that was now rested in her house.

After Y/n had gotten around three and a half stacks of cobble she walked out of her mine. Y/n hummed as she walked through the snowy grass. She was used to the snow by now, exile had taught her well but Y/n hated not being with the others on the SMP area.
I wonder how everyone's doing.
Y/n pushed open the door to see the man still asleep. To be honest she'd totally forgotten about the guy. Y/n put all the cobble in a chest full of it and went over to check on him.
As soon as she touched his face to see if the wound was okay he woke up. Y/n jumped up and away from him.
"Who are you?! Where am I!?" He asked getting up.
"I'm Y/n, I saw you in the snow storm earlier so I brought you inside and patched you up."
"Oh."
"Can I ask your name?" He winced.
"My name is Technoblade but everyone just calls me Techno."
"Oohhh I remember you from the Dream smp. We never really talked much so I don't expect you to know who I am."
"I think I remember talking to you a couple times." They stood in a awkward silence for a second until Brooklyn meowed.
"Are you hungry? It's around time I make some dinner."
"Uh yeah I'm kinda hungry." Y/n gave Brooklyn a couple pieces of fish and rummaged through a chest.
"What's your cats name?" Y/n turned to see Techno petted Brooklyn's head gently. She smiled softly.
"Her name's Brooklyn." She grabbed a five pieces of steak and handed three to Techno. He took them gratefully.
"Would you like to sleep on the couch or I can craft you a bed and build you a bedroom quickly."

"I don't want to be any trouble."
"Nonsense! It's no trouble at'll." She grabbed half a stack of wood and some wool. Y/n climbed up the ladder to the attic. She build a wall around her bedroom leaving a good sized space for Techno. "Techno! Your rooms ready if you'd like to go to sleep." There was somewhat of a mumbled answer and he peeked his head into the attic. Y/n craft a chest, putting the supplies for a bed and anything else he need to craft.
"Oh thanks." He said in his monotone voice.
"I'm gonna stay up for a little while but I'd recommend you get some sleep. So you won't be super tired tomorrow."
"Okay. Goodnight then."
"Night!" She climbed down the ladder and opened a trapdoor. Y/n climbed down more ladders into a library. She kept some books that were nice to read. Also journals that she'd written. Y/n pulled a book off the shelves and climbed back up into the living room to read.

The System Slaves
Heroes selected from all races competed to prove their race worthy of living free. The Troll heroes failed... miserably. Their Race is paying the price. Most Trolls lost their sentience. This Troll did not, and now he must serve the system and try to prove his race worthy of redemption. Thing is, it's hard to save a race when you can't understand the squiggles that appear in your vision. It's even harder to save a race when you can't tell which thoughts are yours and which thoughts the system put in your head. And what do you do when you never loved Trollkind in the first place? .......................... Update Schedule: Two or more chapters a month. 1500+ words. I am a new writer so bear with me, correct my grammar, and point out things you want to add. I plan on finishing, it may take a while though. The cover isn't mine and isn't exactly the way I like it, I'll be on the lookout for something that fits better. ....... This is a Litrpg story, I kinda regret making it so, but what's done is done. The system is clunky and I forget stuff sometimes, don't hesitate to point out stuff that looks wrong or is wrong. There will be some cultivation aspects and some kingdom building later on.

A Virtual Invasion
An invasion from another dimension is shut down by an Empire's traitor and the world has a scant few decades to build the strength to resist a multidimensional Empire. How will the world fair when no one even knows its doom is one barred gate away? Fortunately, the traitor has a plan. Maybe with a bit of luck and planning, he can build a force to defend the world without anyone realizing it. Author's Thoughts: What is litRPG (From wikipedia) - LitRPG, short for Literary Role Playing Game, is a literary genre combining the conventions of MMORPGs with science-fiction fantasy novels.[1] LitRPG is a literary genre where games or game-like challenges form an essential part of the story. A LitRPG work simultaneously narrates the story of characters inside and outside of the game-world. At least some of the characters in a LitRPG novel therefore understand that they are playing a game: they are 'meta-aware'. So, while Tolkien's Lord of the Rings is a fantasy novel, a book about people creating avatars and interacting in a Lord of the Rings MMORPG would be a LitRPG novel. Why do I read them? You know, I am not too sure. I love MMOs. I played them, quit them, joined up and repeated the cycle. They are fun! They are a massive waste of time but so are most games. Do I want to read about someone else playing them? Sort of?The advent of VR and the possibility of VR someday becoming so immersive that you can't tell them from reality sets the imagination on fire. What if this could be life? But most stories fall short. At the end of the day the protagonist hangs up his VR helmet and goes to have dinner with his mom and dad or other family and it becomes meaningless. It's like the story that ends because the main character woke up and nothing you read matters. There have been some books that explore the concept of the intersection of reality and total immersion VR. Enders Game is a classic. There were a few others that escape me but they exist, however, the cross between the game and reality is weak.So what if the game was real? The technology needed for total immersion VR is so advanced that by the time we reach that goal technology should have naturally evolved to include several items. You must have direct neural input. You simply can't have a total immersion (all senses and perfect presence) experience without this basic prerequisite. If you have direct neural access, you can probably do neat things like feed knowledge and skills directly to that person. You can undoubtedly do many horrible things as well. Muscles are controlled by the brain. If you control the brain why would you let the body just sit there and rot? A person that sits unmoving for 24 hours a day will have their body whither away just like a coma patient. However, if you control the brain you could control the muscles. On a basic level, this would be isometric impulses, working muscle group against muscle group to avoid atrophy. Taken to its logical conclusion you would be able to gain muscle mass and program muscle memory. The flip side is that you could remote control their body... but let's not go there. So what would people do if it were real? Well, they would probably limit and regulate it since the drawbacks are very obvious. Even if you look at the basic aspects of this you can see some negative possibilities. Look at the Sword Art Online anime. Personally, I think they missed the boat by putting a bomb in the VR helmet. Do you really need a bomb when you have direct access to the brain? So what kind of events would you need to have a situation where the obvious drawbacks haven't been explored? Maybe a society where the advancement of technology has so far outstripped the explorations of its applications that ignorance was truly bliss? Okay, so I had to put in an alien invasion to kickstart the premise, but that was just one of the possibilities.
