We continued our playing everyday of every year unless we had other things to do. But this time we never filled empty positions we just kept playing. Yeah-yeah was the first to leave when he was around 16 his parents sent him off to military school. After the army he became one of the pioneering developers of bungee jumping. Bertram kinda disappeared but it turned out he got really into the 60s. Timmy and Tommy became treehouse architects but later on invented mini malls and became multi millionaires. Squints married Wendy Peffercorn and already have 4 kids at the age of 23 and 26 and she's pregnant again. They bought Vincent's drug store and they still own it. Ham became a professional wrestler called the great Hambino. How creative. DeNunez played triple A but that's as far as he made it. He owns his own business that is doing really well. He has 2 sons and he just started a little league called the heaters. After Benny pickled the beast he was known at Benny "the Jet" Rodriguez that stuck with him for the rest of his life. And me I am officially the worlds first women to make it into the MLB. Which was so exiting. At 25 I finally made it. Benny and I play on the L.A Dodgers he started 2 years which was hard for the both of us me training and him playing we ended up breaking up near the start of his MLB career but got back together 7 months after. We are still together now and I moved in with him about a year and a bit ago. Smalls became the sports caster for the MLB and Benny and him always do their signature thumbs up which is very cute.

Benny: Lils!

You: What!

Benny: Hayley keeps crying!

Oh did I forget to mention we had a baby. Oops. She's only about 6 months old but Benny is an amazing father and their so cute together.

You: coming!

I run down the stairs to see Benny rocking her back and forth as she's having a fit.

Benny: she's hungry.

I roll my eyes and he passes me Hayley. I feed her, her baby food and she falls asleep almost immediately after she's done eating. I put her in her crib and Benny comes behind me and wraps his arms around my waist.

Benny: the two most beautiful girls in the world.

I kiss his cheek as were nothing looking at Julia sound asleep in her crib.

Benny: Silvia is coming tonight.

You: why? Theirs no events.

Sylvia is our nanny she's usually here when we are out and have baseball.

Benny: it's important. And dress nice.

You: ooo a date?

Benny: oh it's more then a date.

He kisses my neck and walks out of the room.

You: goodnight my love.

I kiss Hayley on the head on walk out and go straight to my room. I walk into my closet and turn the lights on. I also forgot to mention that we live in a huge house. I mean Benny is one of the top baseball players in the MLB so that's pretty much explains it. I look through all of my clothes and grab a dress. It's the prettiest one I own and I've been saving it for something special. So I mine as well wear it.

I curl my hair and put on make up. I walk downstairs to see Sylvia at the counter.

You: good evening Sylvia.

Sylvia: very good evening

You: well Julia just went to sleep. Do you know where Benny went.

Sylvia: oh he left he was in quite a hurry. You look perfect by the way.

You: oh thank you. Well we are going on a date but he's not here.

Sylvia: oh he will be don't you worry.

Then the doorbell rings and I open it to reveal Smalls.

You: oh my god Smalls!

I pull him into a hug

You: I haven't seen you in forever.

Small: it's only been like 2 months.

You: whatever. You are aloud to miss your first friend.

Smalls: ok I missed you too now we have to go.

You: bye Sylvia!

Sylvia: have fun!

Smalls pulls me out of my house to a limo. We both get in and I turn to Smalls confused.

You: if I'm going on a date with Benny why are coming?

Smalls: what I can't tag along.

You: you know you can get a girlfriend.

Smalls: who says I don't have one

You: tell me.

Smalls: you know for a 25 year old you still act like your 15.

You: whatever tell me.

Smalls: her name is Mackenzie Luise.

You: isn't she the interview for MLB

Smalls: ya she is.

You: ok that's actually so cute.

Smalls: shut up we are here.

He pulls me out of the limo and it drives off. He grabs my hand and pulls me into the entrance of the MLB stadium.

You: what's happening?

Smalls: oh just you wait.

He pulls me inside and leads me to the field. He let's go of my hand and walks away.

You: what?

Then a light pops up near me revealing Kenny holding a Lilly.

You: Kenny!

I give him a big hug.

Kenny: keep going.

Another light turns on showing yeah-yeah holding a Lilly. I give him a hug and then more lights turn on revealing all the sandlot boys one by one all giving me singular Lilly's. I start to get the idea when a spotlight shines on Benny who's wearing a tux. He grabs my hand and pulls me into the light giving me a kiss.

Benny: you look. Wow

You: you look very handsome.

Benny: here goes nothing.

He grabs one of my hands and goes down on one knee. I feel tears swell in my eyes as Benny begins to speak.

Benny: Lilly Anderson Ruth. I have loved you since we were both 15. You were my first everything and I hope last everything. I have never felt this way to anyone in my entire life. Your the only girl or person who's been more important than baseball. You were my first love and my only love. If I were me well 11 years ago I could never imagine myself proposing to the girl of my dreams and having a family with her. Your the most amazing and beautiful kind hearted person in the world. And you and Julia are the lights of my life. I couldn't imagine my life any other way then with you. So Lils will you marry me?

You: yes yes yes a million times.

He slide the ring on my finger and stands up spinning em around in circles before putting me down and kissing me.

You: I love you.

Benny: I love you more.

You: never.

Benny: never.

He smiles and kisses me again. Then theirs a loud cheering and I see all of my friends from the valley and all the L.A dodgers running onto the field. Anne and my mom run over to me and pull me into the biggest hug.

Anne: and I always told Benny this would happen.

You: yes you did.

Mom: my little Lilly all grown up with her own family a fiancé your father would be so happy.

You: he's here I know he is. This was his favourite place and now it's mine.

Mom: He would've loved to see this day.

You: I know mom.

Anne: now go celebrate.

They push me away into the crowd. We all celebrate for a couple hours until everyone but the sandlot boys leave.

You: how about a game of ball.

Benny: don't even have to ask.

I run into the dressing room and change into extra clothes I had in my locker and come out to see everyone playing baseball. Oh Just like old times.

We play ball for hours until we all fall asleep on the field just like our old camp outs. Pure happiness was all I felt that night.
