"Oh George~"
I wake up and relish in the feeling of warm sunlight raining down on me-
Wait a damn minute. Aren't I in a fucking basement?
For a moment I consider the impossible. Maybe this really was all just a dream. Maybe I'm finally awakening from a dreadful hangover after Wilbur's party. I'll be able to just go back to the way things were like nothing ever happened. Forget about this fucked up nightmare that somehow tricked me into believing so much that it was reality.
Damn. How many times are we gonna go through this?
Almost scared to face the truth, my eyes hesitantly peel themselves open and when not being greeted with the basement nor mine or Wilburs house and instead with a room with sage green walls, I frantically search my surroundings.
I'm in a room- no. Bedroom. On a bed in the middle of the room with a green comforter. The whole room seems to have a green theme, from the dark green, almost black dresser, to the various green posters around the room. I look around a little more and slowly come to vaguely remember the events from last night before I practically passed out.
Just as I begin to observe the various posters scattered about the walls that seemed to be mainly different bands, the sound of a tuned whistle makes its way to my ears followed by the rapid thump of footsteps.
"Oh George~" Dreams sing song voice travels with an unusual amount of joy embedded in it. I shiver. Knowing Dream is pretty much definitely a psychopath at this point, this could be a really good thing, or a very, very bad thing.
The doorknob twists and less than a second later the door swings open to reveal the blond standing there with a sickly sweet smile over his lips.
"Hi, Georgie!" Dream exclaims with happily and starts walking towards me and before I can react or comprehend his wild change of emotion, Dream rushes towards me and basically lays on top of me and buries his head into my chest.
My breath hitches and I feel Dreams hands slowly snake around my waste.
There's a few seconds of unsteady silence before I finally build up the courage to speak. "Dream?" I say quietly, immediately regretting speaking the moment the simple word leaves my lips. "Yeah?" He responds, his voice slightly muffled by him shoving his face into the cloth of my chest. If I wanted to, I could probably look down and shove my nose into the top of his fluffy, dirty blond hair.
"W-what are you doing...?" I ask very slowly and quietly only now noticing the scent of lavender shampoo invading my senses.
"Giving you a hug." Dream responds simply and he nuzzles his face into my chest and I look down to see his lashes flutter shut.
"I- what?" I stutter out, still frozen in place. "Can you hug me back or something? You know, you're usually supposed to return a hug when one is given to you." Dream says softly and ignores my unclear question.

My eyes widen at the request but knowing better than to ruin the good mood, (especially with the alternative of the one he had yesterday) I slowly move my hands to wrap around his back. I feel him relax impossibly more at the touch and I relax my previously stiffened muscles as well.
Dream let out a soft hum of content and gently tightened his hold around my waste. "This feels nice..." He mumbles as he continues to rest his head on my chest. I almost found myself wanting to giggle. Almost.
As much as everything about this situation confused me, from Dreams explainable, drastic change in mood and behavior, to the sudden want for physical touch like this, I couldn't help but agree. It felt nice to have any sort of touch like this. I wouldn't say it's because I'm touch starved. It's probably because I've never felt ouch like this at all. At least not this intimate.
When a couple minutes passed and our breaths matched, I hesitantly removed one of my arms from around Dreams back and snaked it up to his hair. And with a few more moments of hesitation, I began to run my fingers through the dirty blond locks, occasionally twirling my fingers through them.
Dream let out a deep, long hum of satisfaction causing me to actually giggle this time while he nuzzled into my chest.
"What's got you in such a good mood?" I asked after a few seconds of silence and felt Dream smile slightly against my chest. "I just..." He paused as if finding the right words to answer. "I just let off some steam..." He answered slowly and I felt an uncomfortable pit grow in my stomach at his words.
"Dream? What did you do?" I asked with a curious tone, not wanting to sound like I was suggesting something I shouldn't. Even though I was in fact extremely skeptical.
Suddenly his voice piped up with the happy, peppy tone in it returning. "Doesn't matter. Is there anything you want to to eat?" He asked and I could sense him obviously trying to change the subject and I decided to let it be. "Well nothing in particular, whatever you want to make is fine with me."
"Oh come onnn. Anything. Anything you want for breakfast, you can have. Long as I can make it of course." Dream urges.
After a moment of thinking I respond, "I suppose some waffles would be nice..." I say and I can practically hear the smile on Dreams face brighten. "Alright, chocolate chip waffles with whip cream on top. Coming right up!" The moment I was about to protest, Dream scoops me up and I immediately wrap my arms and legs tightly around him on instinct.
It felt a bit weird to be carried like this to be honest. For some reason Dream decided to carry me higher up to the point where Dream's chin was resting on my shoulder.

I can't wait for my feet to heal so I can stop having to be carried everywhere, because frankly, it's starting to get more and more humiliating.
Nonetheless, I clamp my lips shut and allow Dream to bring me down the stairs.
Once we made it down the stairs, Dream opened the bathroom door and set me down on the counter.
"Start the water and I'll drop in some clothes for you in a minute." Dream says and I nod as he leaves the bathroom.
After a moment of silence, I hopped off the counter and limped my way on the sides of my feet over to the shower and turned it on so the water could heat up. Once that was done I hoisted myself back onto the counter where Dream had left me and just a moment later, Dream came back carrying a stack of clothes which he set next to me.
"Is there anything you need before I leave?" Dream asked looking at me sincerely.
I shook my head no and he gave me a quick smile before exiting the bathroom and closing the door.
I looked at the clothes he brought me and saw a pair of black ripped jeans, boxers, a belt and a T-shirt. Obviously I knew that when I put them on they would be very oversized and I felt thankful for the belt he had provided me with.
I took off the clothes I was wearing and stepped into the warm shower and sighed as the water ran down my back. There was a small stool that Dream had given me a couple of days ago so I wouldn't have to stand on my still healing feet while I was showering and I sat down on it as I started washing myself.
Time for shower thoughts.
I let my mind wander and inevitably it decided to wander to just now when Dream suddenly gave me the weirdest hug of my life.
Why did he even do that?
Why did I let him?
Why did I play with his hair too?
Why did I...
I sighed.
Why did I kind of enjoy it?
I think that deep down I kind of know the answer to that.
Maybe it's because I was finally seeing a completely different side of Dream that I've never seen before.
That's probably it.
To be fair, I really haven't seen any other sides of Dream aside from bits and pieces. But this time it was just so unexpected.
So lost in thought, I nearly forget what I'm doing. Nearly. All of a sudden some shampoo drips down straight into my eye.
I wince and scramble to open the shower curtain and furiously attempt to rub the substance out of my eye.
Fuck this.
George practically fell asleep the moment he hit the surface of my bed.
I sighed in relief as I started descending down the stairs.
I was a bit worried I would end up being bombarded with questions, but lucky for me, he seemed too tired to process pretty much anything.
Pretty soon I made it back down the steps to the basement and into the room where I kept the my former target tied up.
"Thanks for keeping quiet for me, you just made your death a day shorter." I said calmly as I stepped into the room and I could see the mans eyes widen.
"Wh-what?" He said in a gruff, surprised voice.
"Yeah well, unluckily for you it's been a while since I've had a victim so you're gonna be staying here for a while." I explain boredly as I stalk over to the drug section of the chamber.
I look through the various hallucinogens, pain inducers, anesthetics and other drugs.
I hum softly and ignore the pleas from behind me and pick out one of my favorite hallucinogens which I actually made myself by mixing about 10 other drugs together. I call it 'The Final Lullaby' because it makes everything seem like a dream but so much more intense. Plain reception is almost tripled, the world spins, movement is delayed, and of course, it seems like a dream. When I was originally making it, it was supposed to be something to give someone a long and painful death (hence the name, 'The Final Lullaby') and with a dose large enough, it will do just that. However, as soon as I found out its true power and effects, I began giving my victims smaller doses in order to sweeten their screams while I'm taking out my anger on them or just having fun.
I take out a vile and plunge a syringe into it before slowly used the needle to pull out the liquid being careful not go get too much. I don't need him dying on me before I have a chance to have my fun. I plan to make him last.
"Do me a favor and try not to scream." I say (purely to scare him, in fact I look forward to any sort of scream) as I put the vile back on its shelf before walking out of the shadows and towards the man who finally starts struggling as soon as he sees the needle.
I ignore him as I hold him still and slowly inject the lime green liquid into his neck- to ensure it takes its effect as quickly as possible.
The rest was a blur of red as I grab my favorite bat and swing.
