The cold floor is now wet,

With the rain

Of my blood filled tears.

The body shakes,

My mind races,

The lungs gasp,

As my heart aches.

I'm afraid,

To look up,

Afraid of maybe,

Encountering my own demon.

I was running from it,

Hoping to get away,

Little did I know,

That it was just behind me.

Waiting to catch the moment

I trip.

The hands have cleaned the blood,

My heart races,

My body aches,

As I start

Running again.
