《dreamclot ~ poetry》the green star

i didn't know that i was not

on the green star until i saw

it reflected, at a distance, in the water.

i realized space was expanding

between us and i was falling

through it. echo wasn't cursed here

so everything was heard only once—

gathering silver foiled chocolate mushrooms

hunting the stag with our eyes, watching

the dance of a demon who offers

his laughing grief as oblations

into the altars of revolution—

illusions reflected on the water as i

like narcissus, had grass growing green

over me, had my body whorl into yellow.

looking at the green star and its distance

narcissus wonders— echo wasn't cursed

she can speak what she wants, then why

doesn't she?
