Chapter 26, Kind Of Love
Yeah because shaking and wanting to throw myself off a cliff is a sign of excitement.
A week before the carnival and I was still at home trying to choose a cute outfit that might make Miguel smile brighter when he sees me, I didn't want to make it awkward with a text inviting him to the carnival so Marcy did it.
Well, she was inviting Brady and insisted on bringing his friends so that we could all go as one big group, which is a good idea but that makes me a little more nervous knowing that everyone is fully aware of Miguel's text.
"Bro, I'm gonna jump off a damn cliff if I can't find a cute outfit."
I muttered to myself as I looked through my drawers and closet, seriously whenever I'm not going to be doing anything, I have the cutest clothes and when I need a good outfit to make someone flustered, I have garbage.
Someone come pick me up to take me to the mall, I need some clothes to wear for the carnival since it's so clear that I have nothing in my closet or drawers.
Then again, I didn't want to spend any money so I had to think of an outfit that would look on me, but you know how difficult that is.
So after an hour of excruciating annoyance and frustration, I was finally able to pick out an outfit that would look on me.
After placing my outfit on a hanger and hanging it up in my closet in a place where I'd be able to find it quickly, I walked downstairs and called my best friends so that we could hang out today.
It's good to have best friends or just one best friend, that person would have your back whether you're wrong or right and they always save you from whatever trouble you're in.

We would meet up at a pizza place since we hadn't had pizza in some time now and we're craving a slice, I was craving stuffed shells though but luckily, the pizza place sells those.
I walked upstairs and grabbed an outfit that didn't really need to look good on me or not.
Aurelia's Outfit
I didn't want to wear a dress or skirt today, but I make sweatpants look good and that's something that I couldn't deny.
Since we weren't walking together to the pizza place, I grabbed my mini bag and filled it with all my essentials before walking downstairs and leaving my house.
I forgot how much I hated walking, I seriously can't wait until I have my permit and license so I wouldn't have to walk or run anywhere.
When I finally got to the place, I was out of breath and legs were aching just a tiny bit but it was whatever at this point, I saw where my friends where sitting and walked over to the table.
I sat next to Angie, and we began to talk about the carnival until the topic got switched to me asking Miguel out.
"Can we eat first before we get right into the confessions?"
I asked them, they nodded and we ordered our food which we were so desperately craving.
Italian food is honestly the best, everything is always made freshly and the people here are angels.
I was stuffing my face with stuffed shells, they were the best meal I could have ever had in my entire life and that's saying something.
Angie was eating ravioli, she was craving that and this place always serves it fresh and steaming hot which is just the way that Angie likes.
"Can we talk about the confessions now? I really want to do a dine and dish with y'all, I've seen it on YouTube."

Angie said as she took a bite out of her hot ravioli, I looked at her and laughed as she grabbed her lemonade to cool down her now burnt mouth.
The girls looked at me and waited for my response, I sighed and nodded.
I didn't understand why Marcy and Val aren't doing anything with their crushes, why can't they also confess to them on the same day that I am? I didn't want to be alone when I was doing this.
But I understand that they're not ready, it's not like I'd want to confess when I'm not ready either.
"I'm thinking of telling him when we're playing ring toss, it's the one game that I'm actually good at and maybe he'll love the teddy bear that I win."
I explained the idea, Val looked at me and nodded liking the idea of me confessing by the ring toss, Val isn't one for romantic things and that was a fact.
She would rather be asked out when their eating a fancy meal, or watching a movie but it couldn't be cheesy or she'll laugh.
"Are you nervous or excited about doing this?"
Marcy asked me as she took a sip from her diet coke and looked at me, I sighed and shrugged my shoulders.
I didn't know how to feel at this moment, it was a nerve wracking thing to do and although I know he likes me now, feeling could change with a snap of a finger.
That's something people don't understand, I could tell them that it didn't matter if you liked someone, you'll always find someone who you'll like more and they say 'Oh but, I liked them first so..'.
Like if you truly had feelings for the first person then there wouldn't be a second person in your mind all day everyday, plus I overthink sometimes.
"I feel like i want to throw myself off a cliff and I know I'm gonna start shaking during the moment, my nerves are gonna act up."
I admitted to my best friend, Angie chuckled a bit before taking a bite out of her hot raviolis.
"Of course she's excited, she's getting the man of her dreams! I'm excited for her."
Angie said as she nearly choked on a piece of her food, I looked at her and rolled my eyes playfully before smacking her back so she can cough up the piece that got stuck in her throat.
She thanked me when it finally came down.
Yeah because shaking and wanting to throw myself off of a cliff is a sign of excitement.
I told my best friend dryly, she looked at me and laughed a bit before we switched the topic to something else, but it didn't stop me from thinking about Miguel.
A little bit nervous now but that's just for now, I know later I'll be excited and nervous.
No turning back now, am I right?
