He likes me, he actually likes me?! OH GREAT HEAVENS!
~ Aurelia's POV ~
It was raining today, although I love the rain, it makes me annoyed because I couldn't really go anywhere today.
So I decided to go downstairs and just get some snacks, what am I supposed to do today?
I laid down on the couch and grabbed the remote, today would be my lazy day where I get nothing done and try not to feel bad about it either.
I did think about working out and getting my life together but then again, who actually follows through with the plan?
I was watching Gotham, it wasn't a show that I'd be into but at the same time there wasn't anything that I was into right now.
Have you ever binge watched a show and enjoyed it but when It's a day where it feels so dry, you hate the show with all your heart?
My friends were sleeping in from pulling in all nighter so I was seriously alone which was annoying, I hope that they stub their toe on their metal part of their bed for leaving me alone.
Venus walked down the stairs happily and sat down beside me, I smiled at her as she held onto her laptop.
"Watcha researching?"
I asked my sister, Venus looked at me and turned her laptop around so that I could see what she was doing, she was working on a project but I didn't know what it was.
Venus smiled at the laptop, whatever she's doing on her electronics is between her and God, I'm minding my damn business.
There was barely any TikTok drama or Instagram tea that would keep me entertained and I didn't want to relive the old drama, I yawned and nearly choked on my own spit.

I sat up as I choked and watched as my sister looked at me and just stared at me, when I finished choking and finally took a deep breath, I glared at my sister.
"I hate how you watched me choke to my almost death, you suck."
I told my sister as I laid back down on the couch and took Gotham off, Venus better choke on her soup later tonight.
"You make a funny choking face, your face gets all red."
Venus told me as she chuckled, I looked at her and threw a pillow at her.
"Thanks for telling me that my almost death face was amusing to you."
I laughed dryly before grabbing my phone and looking through the social medias that I have, it's seriously so tempting to delete all of my social medias and just go ghost.
But then what would entertain me? Facebook?
Ding!
My phone went off, I looked at what notification I got and noticed it was a message from Miguel.
I didn't know what he texted me for, so I opened the message.
I think you're right, I like Aurelia..
My jaw dropped as I reread the message, I took a deep breath and clicked the unread button before turning my phone off and squealing into the pillow next to me.
Someone needs to pinch me just to make sure that I wasn't dreaming, did he just confess to me? O accident at that?!
Once the realization hit me, I got up from the couch and began to jump up and down.
He likes me, he actually likes me?! OH GREAT HEAVENS!
I began to have a cramp on my leg, I stopped jumping up from the ground and laid down on my back.
Venus looked at me and walked over to check if I was okay, I looked at her and showed her my phone to which she smiled.

"Congrats, your crush likes you!"
Venus congratulated me before walking upstairs and going into her room, I smiled to myself before waiting an hour to call my friends and tell them the big news.
They were really right, I'm glad that he didn't reject me but instead reciprocated the feelings that I had for him, even if he didn't know that he reciprocated those feelings.
"HE LIKES YOU?!"
Angie screamed as she grabbed my hand and began to jump up and down with me, I looked at her and nodded my head.
Let me tell you, everyone was so happy for me and I honestly wasn't expecting that.
"I'm really happy for you, this is so good for you!"
Marcy said as she held my hand after I let go of Angie's, I smiled at her and thanked her quietly.
We were all in my backyard talking about the text, I didn't text Miguel in case he remembered of it.
"What if he realizes and says it was just a joke?"
I asked, some boys do that just to mess with someone's feelings.
"Nah, Brady told me that they were chatting about the crush on you last night."
Marcy told me as she took her phone out and showed me the messages between her and Brady, I smiled big before giving her phone back to her.
"Update us on the Brady thing by the way, are y'all dating now or what?"
Val asked as she got up, I had my hair supplies out here because Val wanted to do my hair.
She's really gentle with my hair so I allowed her to do whatever hairstyle she had in mind.
"Oh we're good, so far just friends but we're going on a date tomorrow!"
Marcy said excitedly, I smiled at her and closed my eyes because hair play is so relaxing.
"Now, Mason and Val, what's up with y'all?"
Marcy asked, Val went into detail about everything and how they were going steady.
So to sum everything up, Val and Mason are basically dating but they hadn't asked one another yet because Val has a big ego and Mason is shy.
"Extrovert girl meets introvert boy, oh how the love grows around all of us."
Kyla said dreamily, we all laughed as Val finished with my hair.
I liked how it look, she does a good job with my hair.
Aurelia's Hair
"Still upset that it rained today, we could've done something."
Angie said as we walked out of my house and looked around the neighborhood, if we go to the park we couldn't sit on anything cause it would just be wet and pool is closed.
"Well, let's head to the arcade. That's something to do."
Kyla suggested, I looked at her and nodded before walking to Marcy's house and sitting there to get some water.
Then we walked to the arcade, never realized how much we walked to everything until now.
Oh well, walking is good for the heart.

Nobody's Way
Foreign Thorn: Book 1 For eight centuries, the people of Isla have wanted for nothing. The Creator, Maere, uses Her power not only to keep them healthy and fed, but also to map the direction of each person's future Path - their vocation, role in society, and even the partner they'll spend their life with. In a world where infighting once threatened the very survival of humankind, the old texts say that Maere personally stepped in to help guide Her creations to harmony. All is not well among the people of the northern lands, however, as Jian discovers when she receives her own long-awaited Path. The Creator has chosen to favour some towns, but not others, leading to anarchy and unrest in the east, and fierce distrust between the neighbours who enjoy Her protection and those who don't. After many nights of disturbing premonitions, visions of a face uncannily familiar to her, and a voice beckoning her to "Homeland," Jian decides she needs to find answers for herself. She hires Madrigal, a surly young traveller hailing from an "unblessed" village, to take her to the southern lands. The swordsman is on the run from something, or someone, but Jian has no choice but to trust him. When the two leave the safety of the familiar and meet Quinn, a mysterious boy who seems to know more about Jian than she does about herself, it becomes clear that there are forces besides the old magics, forces completely unknown to the people of Isla, in play. Madrigal and Jian aren't sure if Quinn can be trusted, but they're certain he knows more than he's letting on...
