Haze's POV

Meeting Grandpa was not planned, yes, but after meeting him, I was happy I did. He told me so many stories of Storm and Marcus getting in trouble and most of them were embarrassing.

As for Marcus, when I came in I thought he was one one those rich kids that'll just go and torture others for fun. Well that's how he was looking when I came here, annoyed but after Grandpa started telling me stories of them, I couldn't stop myself from laughing.

In that whole time we nested the hospital room like our own. The bed was a queen sized bed, perks for being millionaire. Grandpa and Marcus was at one side of the bed while I was sitting on the other side with Storm's head on my thigh. At first I was embarrassed but no one seemed to mind it so let it go too and let him use my thigh as pillow as I played with his hair.

"Remember the time when Grandpa was trying to cook us breakfast and your girlfriend was home. " Storm said, looking at Marcus, who nodded and a laughed a little remembering.

"She ran away crying. " Marcus said laughing.

"really?! Okay Grandpa, what did you do?" I asked now excited to know what happened.

"I just had this sudden interest that morning that I want to cook. And in the middle of my cooking saw girl walking naked around my house. She was so disrespectful, she didn't even try to hide her body from me. To sum it up, I was displeased and angry. I don't know why he brought her home. " Grandpa said with an notes expression

"it's obvious, he just wanted to have sex. And grandpa took his revenge. " Storm said rolling his eyes. I looked at Marcus who was embarrassed and trying to hide his face.

Never thought this guy will blush.

" so after that girl left, I called them to have breakfast with me. I especially put too many spices in Marcus's breakfast. "

"I still remember it vividly, grandpa had him at gun point and made him eat all the food. "

"it was too much for me. I hate spices and on the top of that Grandpa made pancakes that day while I was eating chillies. "

"not to forget the whole week he spent going in and out of bathroom. " Grandpa added and laughed at the thought.

A knock came to the door and Marcus told them to come in. It was the Doctor and she looked at us with her brow raised. She was maybe in her mid 20s and I heard Marcus clear his throat.

"Care to inform why is this beauty here?" Marcus said as he stood tall and Grandpa glared at him.

"cheap " Storm mumbled with a laugh but didn't move.

"Mr Raymond. Your medical reports are all ready and I'm glad to inform you that you are healthy and there's no problem with your health-"

"I know sweetie. " Grandpa said and I shook my head knowing everything was fake.

"oh.. Okay. This is good. " she said wrapping up the reports and handing it to me and I passed it to Storm. "if you're fine then I'll prepare discharge papers. It's already three am, so I advice you to leave in the morning. We will recommend you a healthy diet just in case. "

She said and with a smile she turned and left.

"She didn't even look at you" I pointed out, looking at Marcus and Grandpa laughed.

I was walking aimlessly in the school hallway, I'm still tired from yesterday and since we were awake till like 4 this morning, I wasn't in the best shape to come to school but I did anyways.

"Haze!" I saw Kayla running toward me with a smiling face and I waved at her. As usual she was happy and from the smile I guess she found new guy. "hey! You look awful. "

"really?"

"yeah. Like you have dark circles under your eyes and you didn't style your hair today. You are wearing leather black shoes, with casual clothes and it's looks like there was a hurricane in your wardrobe. "

"Damn. I look that bad?.... I did not sleep enough yesterday. I'm tired and sleepy. " I said and yawned. I'm really tired. I feel like I can sleep right now at this very moment.

"wow dude... You should be careful, don't wanna pick up your heavy ass from the floor. " She said and it made me chuckle with tiredness still lingering around. "want me to add concealer to your dark circles. "

"Will I look any better?" I asked and she walked a few steps back, giving me once over and then thinking very deeply.

"it'll be like changing a clown's makeup, now legend in the book any more. "

"exactly. I'm here just for attendance and I'm gonna sleep the whole day. Can you arrange that for me?"

"No worries. I'll handle everything. " she said with a proud smile as she hooked her arm with mine and dragged me to class.

The day went well, I was able to rest and Kayla didn't bother me with her guy's talk, she was like tamed kitten today, but I'm still vary of that title.

Louise don't show up today, not even for a single class.

"where Louise? I didn't see him the whole day. "

"who knows? It's not like I even care. "she said completely ignoring the fact that the guy is after her and she keeps ignoring him. I know it's her choice who to like but she's not even giving him an answer, all she does is avoid him.

"Kayla. Why are you so rude to him?"

"who?"

"You know who I'm talking about. "

"I'm not. "

"okay fine. I don't like him. And I just don't get why is he so hell bent on dating me. He's not even my type. "

"still you should be a little considerate of his feelings, at the very least, give him a straight answer. "

"I did. "

"what? when?"

"yesterday. After you left he asked me out again, and I didn't run this time. I know what I want and I told him straight forward. Now it's all up to him if he wanna back off or he's gonna become a complete creep. " she said and I rolled my eyes at her. But at least she finally gave an answer to him. I hope that he doesn't take all it to his heart, he must be hurt right? " by the way, why are you suddenly asking about him? It's not like he even talked to you much. "

"yeah but he isn't a bad guy, just the person he confessed to was bad. " I teased her, and got slapped on the head. This girl!!! I pulled on her hair as she kicked my shin to get herself free.

"don't touch my hair!!!"

"don't slap me then!"

Pretty much everything went normal today. Well at least at school.

Lets study tomorrow. I've some urgent work today.

I read the message and sighed. Means I'll be going home straight. But that reminds me that now we have more people at our house.

Getting home I saw two black cars parked in the front and another red car. Must belong to Marcus and Grandpa, they must be here then.

I walked in the house and saw grandpa's guards. I really don't get it, why are there so many of them. Marcus was talking to them at one side of the mansion and I just walked in, leaving them be.

Walking further in, I saw Hilda ordering the maids around and placing groceries and other things in place. She smiled on seeing me and walked to me.

"young master, welcome back home. I'm sorry we're such mess right now. "

"No it's okay. So you are placing everything again. "

"a few things. The grand master said that he need more ingredients in the kitchen, they just arrived and we're putting them here. " she said and looked back to other maids.

" Where's Storm and Grandpa?"

"Master's in his study. And grandmaster is in the garden right now. "

"hmm" I hummed looking around and seeing as the guards spread around the house, and some of them went outside as well. Marcus saw me and nodded and I returned his greeting.

"should I prepare something for you?"

"yeah, a dictionary that doesn't have words like young master, please. " I said and we laughed.

"I'm sorry young master but it's compulsory in our job. " she said with an apologetic smile and I nodded. It's not like she'll listen.

"fine, fine. I'll be in study with Storm, send in some sandwiches and juice for us. "
