《Outlander》Chapter 39

Lifting my head as Rhodes shows up in his War Machine suit, blasting the robots one by one. A smirk appeared on my lips clearly remembering what he said.
"A good story." I mumbled as we helped the people into the Helicarrier lifeboats.
"Avengers, time to work for a living." As Tony's voice rang over the comms, "Closer." I said as I managed to teleport the six of us - Clint, Steve, Natasha, Pietro, Wanda, and I at the church.
Immediately joining in the fight as a swarm of robots comes, "You good?" Pietro asked his twin, "Yeah." Wanda quickly replied.
"What's the drill?" Natasha asked, "This is the drill." Tony replied, pointing at the vibranium core, "If Ultron gets a hand on the core, we lose." Tony added, Hulk arrived smashing a robot as we surrounded the core.
Ultron shows up, "Is that the best you can do?" Thor asked, Ultron summons his army of robots to join him. Steve looked at Thor, "You had to ask." He said.
"This is the best I can do. This is exactly what I wanted. All of you, against all of me. How could you possibly hope to stop me?" Ultron said, looking at each one of us.
"Well, like the old man said. Together." Tony replied, biting my lips to stifle a chuckle, Steve glanced at me and raised his eyebrows, giving him a wide smile. Hulk roars as Ultron's army of robots begins to march towards us.
As all of us collectively fight off Ultron's robot with our own respective abilities. I remembered how astonished I was seeing the cinematic and now that I'm part of this made me happy as I fight alongside with them, my soulmates.
Ultron and Vision start battling out. After a moment, Thor and Tony join him with their combined power, enough to damage Ultron's vibranium body.
Witnessing it, I was internally cheering for them, Ultron stands up, limply, "You know, with the benefit of hin--" Hulk interrupts him by knocking him far away, wincing at how that must have hurt. The robots start to retreat.
"They'll try to leave the city." Thor stated, "We can't let 'em, not even one. " Tony replied, "Rhodey!" Tony added, calling Rhodes.
"We gotta move out. Even I can tell the air is getting thin. You guys get to the boats, I'll sweep for stragglers, be right behind you." Steve said, "I'll also go look for any people left behind." I stated.
"What about the core?" Clint asked, "I'll protect it." Wanda said, a proud smile immediately on my lips, "It's my job." She added. Placing a kiss on Thor, Steve, Clint, and Nat as they left.
"Be careful, angel." Nat mumbled as I smiled at her, "I will. You too. See you in the lifeboat, beautiful." I replied, earning a smirk from her.

Pietro sped in, startled by his sudden appearance, earning a chuckle from him, "You healed me earlier, no?" He asked, nodding my head, Wanda looked at me while I turned to her with a smile.
"Anyway, be careful kiddos. Both of you." I said, waved at them and teleported away. As I continue checking every building and teleporting some people to the lifeboat, I feel dizzy from using an extensive amount of my powers.
Exhaling a breath and shaking my head, standing up as I successfully managed to leave no one around the area. Thankfully, Nat managed to also calm Hulk down with Bruce sitting on the lifeboat.
As my eyes found the jet Ultron's flying and started shooting at them. I teleported inside standing behind him, "This is what I wanted you to see. Witnessing your soulmates die right in front of your eyes." He said, my eyes caught sight of Clint preparing to take the shots to save the kid.
Stabbing his neck repeatedly with furious, leaning forward to him, "You have to die first before I witness any of them dying." I whispered, thrusting the dagger deeper, twisting and beheading him.
Teleporting back to the lifeboat, my eyes started to water as Steve carried the almost lifeless body of Pietro. Running towards him as he carefully placed Pietro on the floor.
"Move! I can heal him." I said, Clint grabs my arm and shakes his head, tears streamed on my cheeks. A memory flashed in my mind seeing how I saw the body of my dead brother arriving at the hospital with white cloth covering his entire body.
"Let go of me. I don't want her to experience what I felt. Pietro is all she has. Even if I have to give all my strength bringing him back I would." I said, yanking my arm away from him, my eyes went down to his wound on his abdomen.
Hovering my hands to his wound and quickly healing it. Letting him sit down and to have some rest as exhaustion was plastered all over his face.
"Let me heal him. I'll be okay." I mumbled, placing a quick kiss on his forehead, Clint nodded his head, despite how his eyes contradict his reply.
Crouching down beside Pietro's body, blood covering his wounds. "Don't leave your sister." I mumbled as I slowly hover my hands on every wound he got.
Biting my lips, feeling my strength faltering, Nat went to us with Bruce leaning his body to her. Pietro's pulse slowly slowed down, shaking my head as I continued to heal him.
My breath hitched feeling his heartbeat stopped, mustering all the strength I have. His wounds slowly healed one by one. Feeling a watery liquid coming out of my nose, a drop of blood fell on my hand. Ignoring the nausea and the strong urge to vomit. I pushed myself further to bring Pietro back.

"Come back. For Wanda." I mumbled, "Please." I desperately pleaded, gasping for air feeling myself drained, Clint caught me as I cried looking at Pietro.
"No." I said, shaking my head, I was about to go back healing him again when Clint grabbed and hugged me tightly, sobbing as my eyes never let Pietro go.
"I'm sorry, Wanda." I mumbled, Clint caressed my back, gently, comforting me as I was a crying mess.
Hearing an explosion, my heart stopped as I feared for my other soulmates, "Tony. Thor." I said, Clint continued to hug me, "They're going to be okay." Clint replied. Glancing back at Pietro as my body starts to hurt. Exhaustion surged through and the next thing I know, darkness called me.
☘
Standing in an unfamiliar place, a big man wearing golden armor and helmet, his back facing me.
"Fine, I'll do it myself." He said as he turned to face me. His glowing eyes staring directly at me.
"Ah, finally I get to see you." He added and slowly approached me, "I will come soon." He said, a wide smile appeared on his lips.
Slowly opening my eyes, letting it adjust to the light.
"A dream." I mumbled as my eyes wandered to the unknown room. A groan escapes my lips as I slowly move my sore body.
"How long have I been sleeping?" I asked, "Good morning, Ms. Jones." A female voice greeted, furrowing my eyebrows, hearing the new voice.
"My name is FRIDAY." She said, slowly nodding my head, wincing, feeling pain all over my body, "Ah, nice to meet you. Ms. Jones is too formal. Call me RJ." I replied, "As you wish, RJ." She answered.
"To answer your question, you've been asleep for a week." She added, "Should I call Mr. Stark?" She asked, exhaling a sigh as I slowly nodded my head, "I've already called him. He'll be here in a sec---" FRIDAY was cut off when the door slammed open revealing the worried faces of my soulmates.
Claude ran towards me, his puffy red eyes and his cheeks were soaked with tears, "Via!" He cried, "We're so worried about you." He added, lifting my hand up and patting his head.
"I'm okay now, champ." I said, my eyes averted to my soulmates as their eyes glistened with tears. Smiling at them, "Come." I muttered, all of them went towards me with care.
"Don't do that again, bunny. We almost died, worried sick about you." Tony said, Steve wiping his cheeks as Tony leaned his head on Steve's shoulders. Nat smiled as she softly touched my cheeks while Bruce checked my vital signs.
"Where's Clint?" I asked, "We let him have some rest. He stubbornly never left your side. He's blaming himself." Nat answered, my heart ached hearing this as he shouldn't blame himself for it was my decision.
Nat wiped my cheeks as I started to cry, "It's okay, angel. Don't cry. It breaks our heart seeing you cry." She said, Bruce placed a kiss on my forehead and cheeks. Giving me a gentle smile to comfort me.
"I'm glad you're awake now, princess." Steve said, placing a kiss on the back of my hand, "Thor went back to Asgard. He promised to go back with Loki." Tony added, nodding my head.
"Where are we?" I asked, looking around, Tony smirked, "I brought this a while ago. It's our new place." Tony replied.
Claude climbed and laid on my side, smiling as I listened to their chat and bicker with each other. As thunder and lightning suddenly appeared in the bright sky, "That man has no regard for lawn maintenance." Tony commented.
Nat and Steve chuckled while I smiled, Thor and Loki entered the room. Their eyes caught sight of me laying on the bed, awake. The two Gods immediately went towards me, relieved on both their faces and their eyes glistened with tears.
"My love." Loki said as Steve, Nat, and Tony stepped aside to let them both greet me. "Loki. Thor. I miss you." I replied, Thor gently grabbed my hand and placed a kiss on the back of my hand, the same thing Loki did to my right hand.
"How are you, my queen?" Thor asked, "I'm okay now that I see my soulmates." I replied, exhaling a sigh as Loki hovered his hand over my body. Green mist coming out from his hand, "This should somehow help you, my love." Loki said.
"Thank you." I said, sincerely, placing my hand on his face as Loki leaned to my touch, closing his eyes. Thor placed a kiss on my forehead, eyes, cheeks, and lips, "Please, don't do that ever again, my queen." He said.
Biting my lips as I hesitated to answer, my soulmates looked at me waiting for my reply, "My love." Loki said, lightly squeezing my hand, exhaling a sigh, "Yes. I won't do that again." I answered, hearing them exhale a breath, satisfied hearing what I said.
"Stephen and Peter will visit later. Stephen still has something to do at the Sanctum while Peter is still at the school." Bruce said, nodding my head as Claude hugged my waist.
"Wanda? Vision?" I asked, "They're training along with Sam. Fury wants them to join the team." Steve replied, nodding my head.
"How about Pietro? How is he? Is he okay?" I asked, silence engulfed the room as I looked at each of them, averting their eyes away from me.
