《The Lunacy of Tyler Lockhart ✔️》Chapter Thirty One - Past

This is utterly ridiculous. Tyler seemed like a different person as if he'd magically transformed into this really possessive and dominating character. Not that he hadn't warned me, he had done that numerous times and I'd ignored all his warnings because I'd wondered how bad could it actually get?
I'd been dead wrong and I was about to find out why.
"Vicky!" I turned around to find Noah walking towards me. I was headed for lunch and I was supposed to meet Kayla.
"Hey," I smiled at him.
I was hoping he wouldn't talk about the scene that had just unfolded outside in the parking lot, the scene that included me locking lips with Tyler.
"Hey yourself," Noah said as he fell in step with me. "I wanted to know, did I do something?"
Confused I shook my head, "What are you talking about, Noah?"
He smiled but I could clearly see the hurt in his expressions. "Either you're a fantastic actress or you really have no idea."
"What's this about?"
Noah stared at me in silence. "I tried calling you last night but you blocked my number. I tried Facebook messenger, blocked, same with Instagram and Snapchat. What's going on?"
"That's impossible. I never blocked you, there has to be a mistake." I pulled out my phone from my bag and checked all my social media.
I was shocked when I realized that Noah was, in fact, telling me the truth.
I gaped at him, "I didn't do it. I swear to you."
"It must be that over-possessive boyfriend of yours." He commented bitterly.
I remembered I'd found Tyler fiddling with my phone when I'd decided to use the bathroom last night, and I'd thought nothing of it because I had nothing to hide. I bet he'd read through all my texts too.
"I'm so sorry, Noah. Tyler's not bad, it's just that he gets easily jealous over me. I'll unblock you from everywhere." I proceeded to unblock Noah's contact when I noticed a few other contacts missing from my phone. Boys who had admitted to having a crush on me, or rumored to have, the only numbers in my phone were the boys who were nerds.
Why had he gone through all that trouble? I mean, he clearly knew how deep my feelings ran for him. Tyler was acting like a total douche-canoe and I wasn't going to put up with his insensitive behavior.
"Tyler must seriously feel threatened by me," he winked, "I'm just glad you hadn't done it on purpose."
"Don't be stupid, you know I wouldn't do that."
"Wanna sit at lunch with me?" He asked.
"I was actually supposed to meet Kayla for lunch," I informed him as my eyes scanned the cafeteria. She was usually seated at the table with the other members of the cheerleading team.
There was a text from her.

"Guess it's just you and me," I said and then noticed the entire hockey team sans T.J and Tyler seated in their designated table. Archer was with them too. "Aren't you going to join your team?"
Noah looked at the jocks, "Nah. I'd rather sit with a beautiful girl than a bunch of arrogant pricks that like to chase a puck."
"We can hear you, fucker!" someone yelled from that table.
I laughed, "If you're sure,"
We bought our lunches and sat down a few tables far from the team and talked about the classes we were taking together and he filled me in about some gossip. I wasn't one to enjoy listening to gossip but Noah had good Intel, he had his sources and something told me that this particular piece of gossip included me. Some girls believed that I was with Tyler because he was filthy rich, not to mention the number of bragging rights I had acquired for dating a guy that more than half of the female population lusted after. They literally believed I was a gold-digger, Noah hadn't used the word, but I knew just how deep their hatred ran for me especially Harper and her bitchy gang.
"Listen, Vicky. I know I never said it before but I'm regretting my decision now." Noah said.
He didn't need to say it; I knew exactly what he was talking about.
"Don't go there," I warned him.
"I like you a lot, and if that idiot gets bored or dumps you, I'll be here for you. You can use me as a rebound or something."
"Oh god, Noah, please..."
"Just wanted to put it out there," He smiled and touched my cheek.
And that was exactly when the chatter in the lunchroom diminished and I knew something was wrong. I spun around to find Tyler standing in the middle of the lunchroom looking like a seven-course meal. He was staring holes into Noah and me. I saw the vein in his temple throbbing and I expected the worst but Tyler calmly held out something towards me.
"You forgot your chemistry notebook in my car."
Bummer!
I remembered revising the last few chapters for the test on my way to school and I may have accidentally dropped it in the Aston Martin.
I swear my hands were shaking when I took it from him because the look he was giving me should have melted me on the spot. "Thanks," I said timidly.
"YO! MY MAN, TYLER!" Grant, the player from his team called out. "Come join us."
Tyler looked at them with a bored expression, "Suspended, remember?"
"You can join us for lunch at least." That was Archer.
"Can't, man. Dad wants me at work."
Sanchez said, "Dude, the school's not the same without you."
"Clearly it doesn't make a difference to a few people." He said giving me a sidelong glance.

Okay, I got the message!
"The rink's not the same either, man."
Tyler was like a pack leader, he acted like an Alpha on and off the rink, which was good because the team managed to score points and it gave them a reason to follow a pattern.
He shrugged before he stormed out of the cafeteria. I immediately got up and started leaving when Noah said, "You did nothing wrong, Vicky. We were just talking."
"I'm just going to..." I was already walking towards the exit chasing after my over-obsessive boyfriend.
Noah gave me a look filled with pity, and maybe I deserved it. I hadn't done anything wrong, but it may have looked wrong. Also, I needed to layout a few things to him which weren't acceptable.
"Hey..." I ran out into the hallway and found him standing by his locker pulling things out of it and stuffing it into his bag-pack.
"Hey, baby," he greeted me without taking his eyes off the task at hand, his tone was devoid of any emotion.
"Listen, about Noah..."
"What?" he turned to face me, leaning against his open locker ready to chew me out. "You have more excuses now? Have another project you're partnering up with him? Probably biology this time."
I understood what he meant to say.
"You're crossing the line!" I almost yelled, realizing that heads were turning in our direction.
Tyler Lockhart standing in the hallway was like a beacon in itself. He didn't need to do anything else.
"Am I?" he seethed. "You're the one who's fraternizing with the fucking enemy. I hate Noah, and you fucking knew that and yet you're sitting there having lunch with him, acting jolly. I get suspended for two weeks, it's my first day of suspension and you're almost in his lap!"
"Are you quite done, because I have some things to say, too. You deleted his contact and blocked him from my social media, what right do you have to do that?"
"I will say it again, Vicky, because it seems like you don't comprehend certain things. I don't want you talking to Noah or have any connection to him. If I see him touching you again, I will BREAK his hands. It will be far worse than what I did to T.J."
"You're sounding like a controlling asshole!"
"That's exactly what I am." He said through gritted teeth. "Whatever crock-shit he's feeding you, it's LIES. If you think Noah is in love with you then think again, because that asshole is trying to use you to settle a score with me. He thinks he's lost since I got the girl he's been pinning after and he's after my blood! If I'm being controlling, then fuck yeah, I control, possess and fucking keep what's mine and you better learn to be okay with that."
I was completely at a loss of words. This was a different side of him that he didn't want me to see and I'd unleashed it unknowingly, I'd opened the Pandora box and now I had to deal with it. If I shaved a part of Tyler's head, would I also see a triple six carved there? You know, kind of like Damien Thorn? I bet I would.
"I'll be waiting for you after school. Once practice is over, you're coming home with me."
"I won't."
"Oh, you will." He said in a commanding tone.
"I'm not your whore."
He arched his brow up, "Now where does that come from? Have I implied that you were?"
"You think I'll always be here on your beck and call?"
He gave me the same bored look like I was a tv tuned to a boring channel that was chattering gibberish. "Well, you're my girlfriend, aren't you? You're acting like I was the only one having fun, like you were faking all those moans last night when I fucked you hard. Geez, Vicky. The second time around, you rode my dick like you were on a mission."
I heard gasps from people passing by and some girls giggled. I just stood there staring at him wondering if he'd said that.
He had a smug expression on his face when he opened the locker again. A bunch of folded paper squares and cards tumbled onto the floor. I picked one up.
It read,
He chuckled reading it out of my hand, "Gotta admit, girls have a very distinct imagination..."
And then he mumbled something under his breath.
"What did you say?"
"Nothing." He zipped his bag.
"I'm pretty sure I heard ′The only person I'm tempted to choke is you.′ You want to choke me, Tyler?"
"That depends. Do you want me to?" He smirked. A wave of pleasure zinged through my body.
"Don't change the subject. We're through!"
"I smell chicken." He laughed showing off his perfectly straight white teeth, and I saw the joking carefree side of him that he always used to mask the darkness that kept resurfacing. "Don't be afraid, I won't hurt you."
I doubt that.
"I'm not in a mood for jokes. I'm breaking up with you."
"You're dumping me?"
I stood my ground. "That's what I said. I've had enough of this. You were right. I don't think I can handle you as my boyfriend. We were better off as friends."
Tyler chuckled, looking like a villain. "Something else I'll tell you, baby." He slid his hand around my waist and brought me taut against his body, and when I tried to get away he tightened his hold. "This relationship will be over when I say it's over and that's not going to happen. Deal with it."
He pecked my lips and gave me a dangerous smile before letting me go, "I'll see you after school."
He was either a sociopath or a psychopath. I couldn't tell the difference.

8 163The Hazards of Skinny Dipping
This isn't a deep book about first loves or self-discovery. If you want a book like that, I'd be happy to recommend one, but I don't have that kind of story to tell. Instead my story is about rash decisions and finding out that your dream guy is bad in bed. It's the story of when I finally went skinny dipping, and how my life was never the same again. Oh, and it's also the story of my freshman year of college and realizing Mr. Right might have been there all along.
