After Ayan's confession, I was so scared that I ran away from there. I didn't tell this to anyone, as I fear that this news might spread connecting my name with a bad guy. Soon the college started. He was not in view for first few weeks which was very relaxing for me as I heard rumours of him on a Europe vacation tour. But soon after his return, my life became a living hell, as he said. He started crossing my paths often and started interfering in my life much more than tolerable. In the week long placement season, no company screened my resume despite of being a university topper and extraordinary extra- curricular record. On the end day of placement season, when companies had to give offer letter to the selected candidates, I got a message from him which read

"I told you sweetheart not to make things difficult for yourself. See what you've done now. But don't worry, those companies didn't deserve you, you deserve my arms, and you'll soon be in them. You'll come to me soon. You'll be mine. Love you xD

I was so tensed because I didn't get any job. I needed a job desperately to support my family, so I decided to search for a job off campus without anyone's knowledge, and soon after some time, I got a job in a middle class company. Although the company was not very big, neither was the salary too good, but at least I got something in my hand. And I decided to keep it a secret from all the students of college including my best friend because I fear what will happen if they ever come to know. I even decided not to share this news with Anamika, out of the fear that if she tell this to anyone out of her happiness. I know she loves me.

But who said getting a job solved all my miseries, I still had a whole semester left in the college, and Ayan's deeds were becoming intolerable for me. Half of the college now believed that Ayan and I have mutual feelings for each other, but we just don't accept it in front of people. Ayan spread such rumors and people started eyeing me badly after that, but who cares about people. What bothers me was his actions, when he used to sit behind me in our combined class lectures and disturb me by pulling my hair accessory or snatching my pen. Unlike my expectations, he didn't insult me even at once, he even stopped roaming around with all the bad girls of our college, but he used to gain my attention with such cheap tricks, and to my luck I always became successful in avoiding him and his company. Soon, the college ending rituals for the final year started, and I was relieved with the thought of not seeing him anymore. We all were eagerly excited for our farewell, it was the last day of our college life, and soon we were going to start a new life in the outside world. I was sad with the thought of separating with the place where I spent 3 years of my life, but somewhere happy because I was excited for my new life ahead. I decided that I would tell Anamika about my job on the farewell day, as after that, she won't tell anyone about it.

The last year of college was exceptionally amazing, neither did I only find love of my life, but also I fell for her more and more. Now, I'm in love with her badly, but she is not ready to accept. I didn't let her get any job, now she will have to come to me once the college is over. But before that, I have already made a plan for the farewell day. Just wait and watch baby girl.
