RAPHAEL

It was always my favorite part of the day to come home to Isabelle. After sitting in what felt like thousands of meetings and trying to run a clan, it got exhausting. So when I came home and saw two bags packed at the front door and Izzy standing next to them waiting for me, my exhaustion melted away.

"Whats the occasion?" I asked her while walking up the steps and kissed her cheek. "No occasion." She replied while grabbing the bags. I grabbed her hand and she came to a stop and set the bags down again. I smiled at her and took the bags from the ground and began walking down the stairs. I heard her chuckled behind me as I threw the bags into the car.

I ran back inside for a quick second before running back to the car. When I had returned I was so fast that the wind blew Izzy's hair back. "Ready?" She asked me. I looked down at the fresh clothes I had just changed in to. "Where to?" I asked her. "Get in." She replied while jumping in the driver seat. "Do you even know how to drive?" I asked with my eyebrows raised. She scoffed at me in the cutest way possible. "Are you kidding? Of course I can drive." She said defensively. I pointed my finger at her.

"I am dying today." I told her, but my smile broke through even though I was trying to be stern and serious. She smiled back and turned her head so she could back out. She put her foot on the pedal and my head was thrown back. She immediately put her foot on the brake and my head flew forward. "Sorry! I haven't driven in a few years." She said casually.

"FEW YEARS?!?!" I asked...ok yelled... in fear. "Don't worry. I wont kill us." She said to me. The comment only made it worse. "I mean... you may or may not get a concussion and you may or may not break both of your ribs." She said with a mischievous smile. I rolled my eyes. "Not helping Izzy." I said. But I smiled at her anyway. I could never really stay mad at her.

I watched carefully as she put the car in reverse this time and she slowly put her foot on the pedal. We gracefully went out of the driveway and out onto the street.

We were driving for a few minutes and we hit a stoplight. The light was red. Izzy apparently didnt seem to mind because she kept the speed she was going. "Izzy." I said to her. No response. "Izzy?" I asked again. Nothing. "IZZY!" I yelled at her. She finally turned her head at me. We were almost to the light. "What?" She asked me with a smile. "The light is red!" I yelled at her. She shrugged her shoulders. "Red means go Raphael. Come on, I know how to drive." She replied while speeding up. My eyes grew wide as we started to get closer to the moving cars on the intersection.

With my inhuman speed, I unbuckled my seat belt, jumped into the driver seat while sitting on top of Izzy, and slammed on the brake. I used the steering wheel for support to keep me from flying out the window, and I used my strength to push Isabelle back so she wouldn't go flying either. The car flipped landing on the other side of the intersection and upside down.

Once everything stopped, i opened my eyes and saw Izzy unconscious and on top of me. I felt blood trickle from my head. "I guess you weren't kidding about that concussion." I said with a small chuckled. She mumbled but was still mostly unconscious. I unbuckled her from the seat and kicked the door open. "You'll be ok." I said to her. "I got you."
