We had just settled down into our normal spot at the bar. Magnus had ordered his regular cocktail while I just ordered a beer. It had the lowest alcohol of all the drinks there.

The night was going great. We had only been there for about an hour and we already had played three games of pool. I was just about to hit the winning shot, when I heard the door to the bar open. I glanced up quickly then back down.... then immediately back up again. My eyes went wide and I crouched down behind the pool table so I wouldn't be seen.

"Alexander? What in the world are you doing?" Magnus asked me. I shook my head at him. "She's here Magnus." I whispered to him. He looked towards the door in confusion, but then he relaxed.

Without me realizing, Magnus pulled me up off the ground. "What are you doing?" I asked him with fear in his voice. She couldnt know. It would hurt her to much. "Alec?" I heard my name being called. I tried swallowing the lump in my throat but it wouldn't leave. I turned to face her. "Izzy!" I said as if I was excited. She tilted her head in slight confusion. "Hi Magnus." She said with a small smile appearing on her face. "What are you guys doing here?" I heard another voice say to us. I turned around immediately and walked towards the bar. "Whats the strongest thing you got?" I whispered to the bartender. He nodded at me and put a small glass on the table and filled it with the liquid. I nodded once and immediately chugged it down. I set the glass on the table and walked back over to the party that was staring at me. "Jace!" I said with enthusiasm. "What are you guys doing here?" I asked them. "I'm waiting for Raphael." Izzy said. "And I'm waiting for Clary." Jace told me. As if right on cue, Raphael and Clary walked in.

"Is this the only bar in Brooklyn?" I muttered while asking no one in particular. Magnus chuckled beside me, clearly hearing what I said. I chanced a small glance at him and his green eyes met mine.

Izzy turned her attention back towards me when the two joined our little party, and I snapped my head away to look at her again. "What are you guys doing here?" She asked me. They all waited for my reply. "Pool and drinks." I told them. Thankfully my voice didnt crack with fear. Jace's smile turned into an annoyed frown. "Why in the hell do you always have to be right, Izzy." He said while reaching for his wallet. I was confused at what was happening. Jace pulled out a fifty dollar bill and handed it to Izzy. "Thank you." She said with pride.

"Hey where's our money?" Clary asked him. His eyes grew wide for a moment. "No no no no no. NO. My bet was with Izzy and Izzy alone. "He said. Raphael then spoke up. "We were all on her side. Time to pay up." A small grin appeared on Jace's face as he pulled out his wallet again and gave them each a fifty dollar bill. "You guys suck." He said after clearing his wallet.

"What is going on?" I asked them. Magnus chuckled beside me. "It appears that these four made bets on us." He said with another laugh. I turned my attention back to Izzy and Jace. "You already... know?" I asked them. Izzy came up to me and hugged me. "Ive always known." She whispered in my ear. I let out a sigh of relief.

"I think we all need a couple of drinks." Magnus said while calling to the bartender. "I second that." I said immediately. We all laughed together.

The rest of the night we played pool and had many drinks together. It was one of the best nights of my life.
