Everything was going great. While my work always frustrated me, i found that visiting Camille always helped. I would visit only once a week due to how much work I had to do.

But things started to change. I started to go see her twice a week, which then turned into three times a week. A few more weeks went by and I started to see her everyday. Two months went by and I stated to see her twice a day. No one knew where I was going, but I knew that Jace and Izzy were starting to wonder.

I was currently in my office working on a stack of paper. It was beginning to become harder and harder to write. My hands were constantly shaking. I sighed and checked the time. A smile appeared on my face when I realized I could go see Camille again.

I got up out of my chair and headed for her place. I was just about to go out into the open when I heard my name being called. "Alec." Jace said. I turned around to face him. I hid my shaking hand behind my back. "Hey." He said once he reached me. "Where are you going?" He asked me. "Does it matter?" I asked him. I wanted this conversation to end so that I could go. "Well I wanted to go demon hunting and thought you might want to go." He explained. "No thanks. Maybe next time." I said while pushing the door open.

"You ok? You don't seem like yourself." He commented. "I'm fine." I called to him from the bottom of the stairs. The door closed behind me allowing me to escape to Camille's and not having to be questioned any further from Jace.

About five minutes later I walked into her room by using the backdoor entrance. I smiled when I saw her sitting on the couch waiting. I sat down right next to her and almost immediately she sank her fangs into my arm. A tear escaped my eye and relief washed over me instantly.

"Make... make sure to give me enough.... I wont be in tomorrow." I said to her. She nodded and continue to give me her venom.

"Alec?" I heard a voice come from the opposite side of the room. "Get a way from him." I heard someone yell. I had to much venom in my system that I just collapsed.

"What were you thinking Alec?" I heard the voice say to me. It was the last thing I heard before losing all consciousness.
