《Elijah》34

A new day, another day to work beside Eli.
"Okay, you remember the plan, right?" Ken asked as she unbuttoned my shirt a few buttons.
"Fluster him but only in front of others, so that he can't do anything about it?" I answered and rebuttoned the buttons she undid.
"Stop that." She smacked my hands away and unbuttoned them again, showing my cleavage. "You think this shirt is tight enough? Or do you need a smaller size?" she asked.
"If I go any smaller I'll lose circulation." I laughed.
"Okay okay, knock 'em dead tiger," she said with a wide smile and a hit to my shoulder.
I left the house and got in my car to head to work.

"Good morning." I told the girl at the front desk and she said the same with a smile.
I got in the elevator and headed to the 25th floor, of course with a few stops from people getting on and off.
"Good morning." I said to the girl at the front desk of this floor and she responded the same way as the last. I entered Eli's office and he wasn't there so I just sat at my desk and waited.
While I waited I practiced sitting positions.
'Legs crossed chest poked out? No, I probably look like a super hero.' I thought.
As I was thinking I had a pen in my hand that I flicked back in forth. It slipped through my fingers and fell.
I turned around to see where it went and it was gone. Then I noticed the crevice between two bookshelves and realized it had slipped through there and was far to the back.
I got up and attempted to pull one away from the other but the shelf weighed a ton and barely budged.
"Damn it." I said aloud.
"Good morning, Mr. Matthews."
"Good morning, Ms. Stephens."
I could hear Eli's voice as he edged closer to his office.
"Shit." I said and bent down to reach my arm in the slit between the shelves.
While I was reaching I heard the door unlock.
Before he could step in I grabbed my pen and stood up.

"Ms. Williams."
"Elijah." I responded and he huffed a laugh.
"Your skirt seems a little short today." He observed and looked at my legs.
I looked down and saw that me bending over had caused my skirt to rise much higher than it was originally.
"I'm sorry, is my skirt going to distract you? Seeing as this is a professional environment, I didn't expect my legs to get that much attention."
I pulled my skirt down to its original length then sat in my desk and got to work.
...
"We need to go and pay a visit to one of our branches, Ms. Williams." Eli said as he wrote something down on a very large stack of papers. I'm assuming he was signing it.
"Yes sir."
I remembered all of the things Kendall told me to do while I was here. I grabbed my tablet and walked my way to Eli's desk.
"However," I began. I turned the tablet around so he could see it right side up and bent down a little to point at everything on it. I remembered how Ken had my shirt unbuttoned and knew my chest was in his face.
"You have a scheduled conference call at 2pm," I stated. "Also this email requires your virtual signature so if you could take a stylus and do that it would be greatly appreciated." I pointed at the screen with my pen then put it between my teeth. He looked up, first at my chest, and then at my face. I gave him a sweet smile with the pen still between my teeth.
"As soon as possible." I added so he could hurry up and sign.
"Right." he said and grabbed a pen with a stylus on the other end and signed.
"Thank you, Elijah." I said with a smile and walked back to my desk.
When I looked at him again I saw him staring at me like he was trying to figure me out. He leaned back in his chair and asked, "What're you doing?"
"I'm sorry?"
"Are you gonna play dumb with me all day?" he asked. His accent and vernacular changed to how he speaks to Gio, Jason, and Teddy rather than how he talks in the office.

"I'm sorry, I don't know what you mean..." I lied.
"Get your stuff, it's time to go," he said and stood out of his seat.

"A list of the employees for this branch should have been emailed to you," Eli said as we walked through the halls.
"Yes, it's right here." I replied as I pulled it up.
We got to the office that Eli would be holding interviews in.
"You'll stand outside the door as I conduct the interviews." he instructed.
"Why? You don't want me next to you?" I asked and slid my hand down his arm while I faked a pout.
"Leyla." he said.
"That's not my name." I stated.
"Just call in the first person," he sighed and walked in the office.
"Daniels!" I shouted.
After about twenty minutes the first guy left.
"Hey," he smiled as he left.
"Hi." I replied.
Eli called me in.
"Yes?" I asked.
"I changed my mind. You'll stay in here."
"Yay." I said and went to stand next to him.
Another person joined the room. He was pretty tall and about average size.
"I was told to come in here?" he stated.
"Yes, please take a seat." Eli offered and gestured at the chairs in front of him.
The guy took a seat and gave me a kind nod as a hello.
The interview began.
I got bored about twenty minutes in and started roaming around and looking at everything. I realized this was the perfect time to do something I shouldn't.
I dropped my pen on the floor and bent down to pick it up, my ass facing Eli.
When I grabbed it I got back up and turned around to look at him. He was leaning back in his chair but he was looking at the guy he was interviewing.
'Motherfucker.'
"And how did your client handle that?" Eli asked him.
I walked back over to him.
I got a notification that his conference call was in thirty minutes.
I bent down to his ear.
"I'm sorry to interrupt you, but your conference call starts in thirty minutes." I whispered with one hand gently grazing through the back of his hair.
I heard him take a deep breath and his hips shifted.
'Does me whispering really have that much of an effect on him?' I wondered.
"Okay. Thank you." Eli told the guy. "You can leave."
"Yes, sir...um, do you want me to call in the next person?"
"Not just yet." Eli stated. The guy nodded and left out of the door.
"Are you getting a kick out of this?" Eli asked me as soon as the office door closed.
"I don't know what you mean." I said and walked behind him.
"Stop playing with me, Leyla." he demanded.
I massaged his shoulders.
"Ohh, the first name?"
"Admit you know what you're doing and stop it," he said.
"Why? Is it too much for you? You're supposed to keep it professional." I stated and slid my hands down his chest, bending over to get next to his ear.
"Which part drew the line?" I asked.
He didn't respond.
"Was it when I rubbed your thigh on the drive here? When I called you by your first name? Or when I whispered into your ear...just...like...this." I whispered again. "You like when I whisper in your ear, don't you, daddy?" I asked quietly and seductively before I kissed his neck.
He grabbed my throat and yanked me to look at him.
"I am going to fuck you like the needy slut you are when we leave and I don't wanna see a single tear fall when I do." he threatened while holding intense eye contact with me that made my heart beat out of my chest.
The threat almost made my knees collapse.
"Now how about you be a good girl for once today and go call in the next person, before I bend you over this fuckin' desk and ram into your cervix?" he stated and let my throat go.
