《Demigods Meet Mortals》Reyna Ramírez-Arellano (Annabeth Chase)

I leaned back in my seat, listening in on the meeting with my fellow praetor, Percy Jackson. We were thinking of ways to be prepared for the Greeks with the Centurions.
'We don't know when the Greeks will come, and whether they're peaceful. The troops might not be ready by then.' Centurio Dakota argued. Centurio Leila from the Fourth Cohort had suggested bringing everyone at the ready.
Hank from Third Cohort pointed at the main entrance of Camp Jupiter, the tunnel.
'If the scroll message was accurate, then the Greeks wouldn't be able to fly over the Little Tiber and in the tunnel with a large Greek warship.' He reasoned, and murmurs of agreements were issued throughout the room. Octavian scowled.
The legacy Centurion slashed open a teddy bear in frustration. 'Are you out of your minds? We can't trust some Graeci scum flying in on a warship!' Octavian argued, and it was my turn to be angry. 'Octavian, we have a Graecus right here with us. You'd think he killed us had he been in negotium.'
This whole time, Percy hasn't spoken, which was strange, considering he was the one being insulted. The son of Neptune seemed deep in thought.
'A half-blood of the eldest gods,
Shall reach sixteen against all odds,
And see the world in endless sleep,
The hero's soul, cursed blade shall reap,
Single choice shall end his days,
Olympus to preserve or raze.'
Everyone heard Percy's mutterings, because they weren't just any random mutterings, he was saying the Graeci's first Great Prophecy. The Centurions glanced at me, asking for me to question Percy. So I did.
'Percy, what were you saying?' I asked, Percy glanced up at me. 'Sorry, just remembered a prophecy I was part of last year I think.'
I froze.
'Jupiter's nomine!' Octavian and Ida both cried. And I couldn't blame them, Percy was part of the Great Prophecy? I chose to ignore it for now.
'Anyways, let's get back to the matter at hand-' Larry's sentence was broken off by Hazel Levesque peeking her head into the the meeting room.
'Sorry to interrupt your meeting, but we got company.'

I ran out of the tent, followed by the other Centurions and Percy. All of us had our weapons at the ready, and right in front of us, was a large Greek warship with a gold dragon head. 'O sanguinum inferos.' Iba muttered, her old British habits coming back, and frankly, I wanted to say that too at the moment.
Four demigods were coming off the ship, a Latino boy, a girl who looked like she could very well be a daughter of Athena, Greek version of Minerva, but the goddess couldn't have children. A girl who I suspect is a daughter of Aphrodite/Venus, and an all too familiar face. Octavian saw him too.
'Jason Grace.'
♡
I told Percy to stay back and protect the wounded soldiers, and he swiftly agreed. I hurried to the front of the legions, glad that we were able to block the Graecus' view of our wounded soldiers. Number one rule of battle: Never show weakness. It was what Nico always said to the damned souls:
The Underworld doesn't show mercy, only justice.
'Hello Roman demigods, we come in peace. I am Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena, these are Piper McLean, daughter of Aphrodite, Leo Valdez, son of Hephaestus, and someone you already know: Jason Grace, son of Jupiter.' Annabeth said, and Jason picked it up from there.
The blond demigod I once knew so well wore Roman colours, but every Roman present knew, he was now a Greek. 'Twelfth legion,' Jason began, his expression serious. 'The Graeci demigods come in peace, they've come to form an alliance, for the sake of the Prophecy of the Seven, listen to what they have to say.' I stared at Annabeth, from her stance, I could tell she knew the most, and was the unofficial leader.
I stepped forwards, this was tricky business. 'Detrahet me Percy.' I said to the soldier next to me, Jordan Pennyworth. He ran off, and came back with Percy, who was already briefed of the situation. 'Give me a moment.' I said to the Greeks, before turning to Percy.
The son of Poseidon spoke up immediately. 'We should hear them out, but have the troops at the ready. They may have information, but we outnumber them greatly.' I thought about it, before agreeing. We needed more information on the Prophecy of the Seven, but even if the Greeks have a few tricks up their sleeves, they were on my turf. We have the upper-hand.

'My name is Reyna. Come.' I said simply, and the Greeks followed suite. Percy had faded back into the crowd to send the wounded into the camp areas, away from the possibility of death without the ability to defend themselves.
I had chosen to bring them to outside Apollo's temple, good area to fight, and least damage would be done. Percy was already there, he was pretending to read a magazine, to lower suspicion. Smart.
After the Greeks all sat down on the cold floor, Percy put down his magazine, glancing at the foreign demigods. Annabeth visibly gasped, she charged, and tackled Percy in a tight embrace. My partner seemed to be reluctant to touch her as he pulled the daughter of Athena away from him. 'Well, that was unnecessary, wasn't it. But. . .' Percy's voice trailed off. Now, it was obvious he was suspicious of the demigods.
'I'm Perseus Jackson, nice to meet you.'
♡
Annabeth seemed taken aback with shock, anger, and despair, all at once. Piper's eyes widened as she gave Annabeth a comforting side hug. 'Schist.' The daughter of Aphrodite said. I cleared my throat.
'Anyways. . .Let's get on to business. What did you want to talk about?' At that, Annabeth composed herself, giving Percy one longing glance before turning to me. 'The Great Prophecy, or as you call it, Prophecy of Seven. Leo,' Annabeth said, gesturing towards Leo, the Latino boy.
'Seven half-bloods shall answer the call,
To storm or fire the world must fall,
An oath to keep with a final breath,
And foes bear arms to the Doors of Death.'
Percy and I both nodded blankly, we had both heard the prophecy before from Octavian before. Percy spoke up.
My partner sat up straighter, twirling his pen aka Riptide in his fingers. 'So, I'm assuming you four are part of the prophecy, which leaves three demigods.' Percy concluded. Piper nodded briskly.
'Correct. And I trust that three demigods from Camp Jupiter had been on a quest recently?' Piper asked. Percy and I exchanged glances, I nodded quickly. Percy turned to our guests, 'You stand correct, Piper McLean. Frank Zhang, son of Mars, Hazel Levesque, daughter of Pluto, and I returned from a quest just hours before your arrival.' Percy stated, keeping his tone formal.
Annabeth nodded, glancing at me, then Percy. 'Well then, that is our seven demigods. But I suspect that the Great Prophecy is not yet ready to come into play,' Percy said, staring blankly at Annabeth, who agreed.
'I received a prophecy,' Annabeth stated.
'Wisdom's daughter walks alone,
The mark of Athena burns through Rome,
Twins snuff out the angel's breath,
Who holds the key to endless death,
Giant's bane stands gold and pale,
Won through pain from a woven jail.'
I rubbed my temples, three prophecies is too much for a demigod to hear in a day. 'So, that's our first stop: Rome. And regarding the angel's breath. . .' Percy's words trailed off, he glanced at me. We both had the same thought:
'Nico's in trouble.'
Percy and I looked at Annabeth, whose expression was panicked. I scowled. 'How do you know about Nico di Angelo?' Percy and I asked together, the girl raised an eyebrow. 'How did you know about Nico? He's my friend, Greek son of Hades.' Annabeth snapped.
'Well, then I'm in on the quest.' Hazel said from behind me. The gold eyed girl nodded at the Greeks. 'I'm Hazel Levesque, daughter of Pluto. Nico's my brother, he helped me fit into Camp Jupiter, I'm not going to let di Angelo die, I'll save him if it's the last thing I do.' Hazel said, determination etched into her expression.
Annabeth smiled slightly at Hazel, before turning to face Percy.
'And I'll make you remember me, Perseus Jackson, one way or another, I will.'

The WereLionesses Mate
She was running out of breath, but that didn't matter, all that mattered was getting away from him and proving him wrong. Branches scraped her face and her arms, her body burning hot; but cold from her sweat as the wind blew over her skin. Her pants soaked from running through the streams, her shirt ripped to shreds around her stomach from very low hanging branches. Her hair, a tumbling fiery mess of tangles, and waves slipping through the ponytail she had quickly fastened trying to tame her wild hair. Running and crawling on the ground through the forest floor, trying to get back to the camp grounds so Whhooossshhhh! All of a sudden a giant gust of wind flew past her nearly lifting her off the ground and throwing her into a tree. Where in the world did that wind come from? She thought, but she kept running like it had never happened. She jumped over a fallen log, ignoring the fact that she almost fell in the process. She zoomed past all the trees and sprinted over the roots coming out of the ground. She rounded another tree coming to a sudden halt at seeing him standing there with a drink in his hand laughing and joking. She stood there wondering how in the world he could have beaten her here; He looked at her then, He looked, well, handsome, his faced was clean shaven and his button up shirt was all unbuttoned minus the three at the bottom. She could still visibly see his bronze chest and the top of his ripped-hard abs. He walked over to her and smiled, showing all of his teeth, the smile reaching his eyes. His eyes were dark and stormy, their color was usually a nice honey brown but now his eyes looked mid-night black. They looked like they could kill a man at eighty paces, but could sweep a woman off her feet at the same time.
