《The Black Phone x reader one shots》Papergirl|Finney|

I rode my bike as I threw newspapers to every house I rode past, I kept doing my job.
If you haven't caught on yet, I'm a papergirl, well that's what people call me.
I rode passed a bunch of houses until I saw a black van way ahead of me, I thought nothing of it and continued to ride my bike.
That was until I saw Finney, a boy in my class, talking to a stranger that was next to the black van.
My eyebrows furrowed in suspicion. I could see the stranger grabbing his wrist.
I got off my bike and walked toward them.
"Hey, Finney," I stated making them both look at me.
The man looked annoyed, he looked odd as well. He had white face paint all over his face.
I grabbed Finney's other wrist looking over at the stranger.
"Remember, we were supposed to head to the diner today?" I spoke, looking away from the man to give Finney a hinting glare.
"What we aren't- oh yeahh..." Finney quickly caught onto the hint and moved my hand to now intertwine my hand with his.
"Well, you both better get on and go to the diner." The man gritted his teeth, letting go of Finney.
"Have a nice day, sir." I let out, walking away.
"What the fuck Finn?!" I whisper yelled and gripped his hand tighter.
"Do you know not to EVER talk to strangers?!" I whisper yelled once again as we walked to my bike.
"I'm sorry, I still don't see the problem." I looked over at his clueless self.
I rolled my eyes and hopped onto my bike.
"Get on," I declared.
He got on, behind me. He hesitated, not sure if he should wrap his arms around my waist or not.

I sighed deeply before grabbing his arms and wrapping them around my waist. He blushed slightly but I decided to ignore him.
"Hold on tight," I uttered, and started to peddle toward his house.
"You know you're not supposed to be talking to strangers at all, right?" I sighed once again.
I already said this earlier but I wanted to make sure if he really understood now.
"I know I know, I just genuinely thought he needed help," Finney answered.
"Well, sometimes you need to be greedy and not help..." I let out and continued to peddle as he held onto my waist tightly.
"Have you seen the missing posters around town?! You're lucky I showed up, or you would've ended up like the other kids." I declared with a worried tone, Finney picked this up and laughed slightly.
"I'm okay y/n, thank you for showing up," Finney reassured.
I smiled softly, satisfied with his response.
Every time a car would pass he would grip my waist tighter making me chuckle.
"What are you laughing about?" Finley asked.
"Nothing," I replied and continued to peddle to his house in silence.
We finally made it to his house after a few minutes.
"You know, we barely talk in school. You seem pretty cool... wanna be friends?" Finney asked.
"Of course." I smiled as I slowly started to make a complete stop.
"We're here."
"Thanks, y/n." Finney thanked me once again. I nodded in response.
Finney's arms parted from my waist and he stood up.
I'm not even gonna lie, I missed his arms wrapped around me.
I've always thought he was cute, I was always just so nervous to talk to him...
"Wait, Finn...Take a newspaper." I grabbed a newspaper from the back of my bike and held it out for him.
He smiled, nodding and taking it from me.
"Bye, y/n."
"Bye, Finn"
I watched as he strolled up to the entrance, and unlocked it with a key that he had.
He waved before closing the door.
I waved back and biked away with a smile.

Much like his father before him, the new master of House Doom is a prodigy of war, yet the venerable minions of his household still hold strange loyalties toward his missing ancestor, silently comparing the legendary rage of his father to the more pragmatic approach of the son. Adding to Basil’s frustrations is the lack of accomplishment he feels for his work, with the dungeon keeper often taking on handicaps just to give his enemies a fighting chance. With all the power and wealth one could ever dream of already within his grasp, Basil now finds that the achievements of others kindle more joy in his heart than his own crushing victories. Thus Basil has taken up mentoring the next generation of dungeon keepers to try and diagnose the cause for his own lack of passion. With his apprentice, Elnora, managing most of the daily work around the dungeon, Basil can finally turn his attention towards his personal concerns, such as tackling the shadow of his legendary father that still looms large over him.

This is an isekai story like many others that have been told before. TLDR: Cliche Isekai story This is the first story I ever made/wrote, I decided to try it out in the spur of the moment. I'm hoping to have fun with this, don't expect anything of quality in my writing. This story will be more of a wish-fulfillment so do not expect any intricate storyline and plot twist as I'm basically just chilling and writing w/e I'm in the mood to.
