I checked the clock, waiting for it to be 4:30, I'm waiting for paper boy... aka Billy.
He always drops off newspapers in my neighborhood at 4:30
Once it hit 4:30 I walked out waiting for him, I saw him biking toward my house. I smiled, walking down the steps and onto the driveway.
"Hey, paper boy." I teased.
"Hey y/n." Billy stopped his bike, handing me the newspaper.
"How have you been?" Billy asked.
"Good, how about you," I replied, a soft smile crept onto my face.
"I'm good thanks for asking," Billy responded, I looked behind him to see older kids... staring at us.
"Hey um Billy... do you know those guys?" I asked, looking away from them and to Billy.
Billy rose a brow, turning around and then turning back to me with wide eyes.
"Um, can we go to your house?" Billy asked, kinda rushed.
"What? Why-"
"Yes? Okay great!" Billy stated, grabbing my wrist and running into my house.
"Hey, paper boy!" One of the guys yelled.
Billy closed the door as he saw them running to the house.
"Shit." Billy cursed softly under his breath.
Billy locked the door and released a sigh.
We heard hard banging against the door.
"Open the door now dickwad!" One of the guys yelled.
"Who the hell are they?!" I whisper and yelled.
"A bunch of bullies." Billy glared at the door.
"Well, they can't hit a girl can't they?" I stated, moving Billy aside as I unlocked the door.
"Wait no!" Billy let out, I ignored him, opening the door.
They were about to punch me until they stopped themselves.
"Ah, so this is paper boys girlfriend." A boy cooed, I rolled my eyes.

"She's not my-" Billy muttered before I interrupted.
"So what if I am." I crossed my arms looking at the main one dead in the eye.
"You got yourself a feisty one Billy. Roof! Roof!" The boy began to mimic a dog, dropping his tongue out and panting. His other friends laughed.
"I'm not a fucking dog!" I shouted, I was utterly offended. He can't call me a dog when he looks like one.
Never mind, that's too nice, dogs are cute and he's not.
"Aww, the little doggy is mad!" The guy's friend cooed with a pout.
They all mimicked dog whimpers.
I kicked the main guy where it hurts.
"Dick." I let out as I grabbed the hose and began to spray them all, the guy held his crotch in pain as the others ran.
"Never mess with Billy again... do you hear me." I let out quietly, he didn't respond and kept groaning in pain.
"I said, do you hear me!?" I yelled out, getting ready to punch him, waiting for an answer.
"O-Ok Ok, I hear you." The pathetic bully spilled out.
I scoffed, slamming the door in his face.
"Bunch of pussies." I cursed as I went to the kitchen to grab a glass of water for Billy.
"Thanks, y/n..." Billy thanked me as he followed me to the kitchen.
"No problem, paperboy," I smirked playfully, and filled up the glass with ice and water.
I finished, handing him the glass as he chugged it down quickly.
"Want another?" I questioned.
He nodded quickly.
"I'm so thirsty, I forgot to bring my water to work." The boy frowned, and I sighed in response.
I filled the glass up with water again, then handed it to him.
"I guess I'll give you a drink every day..." I grinned.
The boy smiled.
"That'd be nice." The boy responded.
He is so adorable.

Time Can't Heal This
I've always hated the saying "Time heals all wounds." Maybe in most cases that may be true. In my experience with life and pain however, time has only ever bled out the wound. The scars that the wounds left behind though, are often so deep that just looking at them becomes painful to the mind. Time only heals what you let go of. Sometimes letting go and moving on just doesn't feel possible; no matter how much time you let pass you by.These poems signify what time hasn't healed for me.
