I walked through the halls as the start of school started.
As I was about to walk into the first period, I felt a tap on my shoulder.
I turned only to see, Robin.
Just great!
"Are you obsessed with me or something?" I rose a brow in annoyance.
"You wish," Robin replied, looking to the side with a scoff.
"I was gonna tell you my friend Finn is having a baseball game, I wanted to invite you. I already bought you a ticket so you don't have a choice," Robin informed with a slight smirk.
I put my hand on my hip, kissing my teeth in confusion.
"Really? Me and you... at a baseball game." I replied, my voice emphasizing each word.
Robin nodded, not seeing the problem.
"Um, do you recall that I don't like you?" I stated, looking at him with a sour face.
"And get away from me, I don't want people thinking we're friends or something like that."
Robin showed sorrow for a
moment before toughened up.
"Forget I even asked you." Robin looked at me about to walk away until I grabbed his wrist.
I rolled my eyes, snatching a ticket from his hands before walking away, not wanting to hear his tease.
I looked back to see him smiling like an idiot.
I was now in my last-period class.
"Hey, I saw you with Robin." A girl spoke up to me as she leaned against my desk.
"So?" I questioned, slightly shoving her off my desk.
"Do you like him?" She asked, getting off my desk and standing straight.
"Me? Like him? Please! Pfft-" I let out a few laughs as she crossed her arms, staring at me frustratedly.
I looked back up.
"Do we have a problem?" I asked, raising a brow.

"I think we do, I like Robin... and I don't want to see you near him, mkay!" She let out.
"And what if I don't give a fuck about what you say? Then what, you're gonna beat the shit out of me?" I sarcastically let out.
"Yeah, so stay away from him."
She said about to walk away from me before I grabbed her wrist.
"I can do whatever the fuck I want, I like the confidence you have. Get rid of it or else I'm gonna have your blood all over my knuckles." I responded, my voice getting lower.
"Okay, after school." She told.
"After school it is." I let go of her wrist harshly, as I watched the blonde walk away.
I walked out of school, trying to spot the blonde from earlier, I spotted a big group next to the neighborhoods.
I smirked walking toward it.
I saw Robin and the blonde in the middle.
"Hah! So she stood me up, after all, she's too scared to go against this-"
I punched her right in the face.
She gasped slightly, looking over at me in shock.
"Oh, you're gonna get it now." She growled, throwing a punch. I let her hit me, to boost up her confidence. She went in for another punch, I quickly dodged it and kicked her right in the face.
She fell to the ground, groaning.
I climbed on top of her pulling her hair to look at me.
"I'm not gonna hurt you more than I already have, but you don't tell me what the fuck to do and who to fucking talk to, you hear me?" I quietly stated, though the crowd still heard it.
"And why should I listen to you?" She girl under me squirmed out.

I laughed before punching her in the face, about to do it again I felt someone get a hold of me and took me off of her, I tried to squirm out but it was no use, they had a tight grip on me.
"That's enough y/n." A familiar voice stated.
"Hey you can't be an asshole to her, only I can," Robin stated, his voice hinting he was mad. I almost puked at his corny remark.
"Okay okay, let me go," I ordered.
He did that and I looked over at him.
Blood trickled down my nose from her punch earlier.
The girl continued to groan on the ground. I snickered.
"Let's go get you cleaned up," Robin stated, grabbing a hold of my hand before walking to the school's field, I just let it happen.
We arrived at the field, I turned the water faucet on and began to wash my knuckles and face.
"I'm going to kill her for punching you before I ever got to." Robin joked, I rose my head from the water looking at him in annoyance.
I rolled my eyes.
"I can't stand you," I replied, he only smirked.
"I love that about you," Robin muttered.
"What?" I rose my head up from the water, not hearing what he had said.
"N-Nothing." Robin surprisingly stuttered out, I quirked up a brow.
"Oh? The big guy is stuttering." I smirked playfully, turning off the faucet and going to sit on the bleachers beside Robin.
Robin looked away.
"Are you blushing? Gross."
I murmured, teasingly.
He slightly shoved my shoulder with his eyebrows furrowed.
I snickered looking up at him.
"You know, you're not so bad," I whispered.
He smiled playfully.
"Don't get me wrong, I still don't like you." I joked, poking him in the shoulder.
He let out a laugh before we sat in silence.
"Hey, that wasn't so nice." Robin pouted, jokingly.
I scoffed at his attempt of being cute.
"We'll I'm gonna head home, see you at the baseball game, cutie." I teased, jumping off the bleachers.
"Are you flirting with me?" Robin questioned, quirking up a brow.
"Maybe." I smiled.
"Well, if you need anything, call me," Robin stated, seriously.
"Yeah, yeah," I muttered out. Walking away to my house.

Haven in a Dangerous World (Old)
Devin McMullen. Female. 18. Single dad. Dead mom. Good in fights and little else. No friends. Or, at least, that's what she's always been. Now, she's not sure exactly what she is. She's never been one for reading fiction, or anything for that matter, but this feels like something straight out of a fantasy. Her newly acquired instincts, however, scream dungeon core. Whatever that is. Unlike most dungeon cores, though, she's missing something very important. A dungeon. Stuck out in the open, above ground where she's definitely not supposed to be, with not a cave in sight, or any other land form besides miles and miles of ice and snow, Devin's not sure if she can survive. Update: Big caveate, though, just so you know. Started with this one idea and ran with it as far as I could. Characters and plot suffer from it, but I'm proud that I wrote as much as I did. I will rewrite this at some point and make it so it actually has plot. Check out my wordpress © [koallary] and [Haven in a Dangerous World], [2017].
