Where am I?
It's dark and it's hard to breathe here.
Why am I wearing a hospital gown? What happened?
Wait. Where's the exit?
I ran and ran, only making it harder for me to absorb oxygen, but I didn't find a door, there's not even a window here. It's like endless darkness.
"Hello?!" I shouted, hoping someone will answer me. "Is anybody there?!" I waited but I received no response.
*CLANK*
I looked behind me as soon as I heard the sound of a shoe hitting the ground. I can see their silhouette but not their face.
"Who's there?!" I asked, even with the urge to get out of here, I can't help but put my guard up.
"Now, now. Calm down, (Y/n)."
Her voice...
What's this...?
It's so soothing...
"W-Who are you?!" I shouted at her, still on defence.
"You don't have to be like that. I won't do anything to hurt my daughter." I was stunned.
What did she say?
Daughter?
Me?
Don't tell me...
"A-are you? Are you Yusha?" I asked.
"Mhmm. You can call me mother while you're at it." She said and gave me a closed eye smile.
"M-Mother?" I repeated, but in an interrogative tone.
"Can I hug you?"
Before I could even answer, she walked to me and hugged me. I know I should push her away. We're not sure if she is my mother, but this is...
I can never complain about the attention and love that Aizawa gives me, he's the best father I can ever ask for. Eri, my classmates and my friends always make me smile and feel happy when I'm in school or when I'm in the dorm. Then there's Tamaki who will always be there for me and fill up the gap in me that makes me feel like I'm complete, but now that I'm experiencing the hug from my mother, I never knew I needed this, no, that I wanted this.
I didn't notice that it became much easier to breathe when she touched me and also that I already wrapped my arms around her. Then I heard her sniff and she hugged me tighter.
"I'm *sniff* I-I'm sorry. I'm sorry!! *sniff*" She suddenly burst out.
"W-Why?" I asked, wanting to know why she suddenly cried.
"I'm sorry for leaving you behind. *sniff* I'm sorry that you had to go through all that because I couldn't protect and keep you *sniff* safe from Kurayami. I'm sorry... I'M SORRY!!"
"Protect me? Kurayami? Why?"
She let go of the hug as she wiped her face from her tears. Suddenly a bench appeared on our side.
"Let's take a seat first." She offered.
"O-okay." I was still amazed by the sudden appearance of bench-kun.

She took a deep breath to calm herself down. She was holding my hands, as she was inhaling and exhaling I stared at her face.
She's so beautiful. She doesn't look like someone who already had a child. She gives off a bad-ass but understanding mother.
"Really? Thank you." She thanked me all of a sudden. I widened my eyes.
"EH?! Why?! How?!" She just let out a chuckle.
"First, let me ask you, how many quirks do you think you have?" She questioned.
"Quirks? Three. Elements, Teleportation and Wall Barrier." I answered.
"You're wrong. You have another one, it's also one of my quirks and it's Emotion. Well, it's practically useless if you only have one quirk. You can control your other quirks based on your emotion. Remember how your fire's got hotter and how the current of the water you produced got stronger, even your air and how wide you can control the ground. Your fourth quirk explains why that happened."
"Now that you've mentioned it when I was training with Aizawa, I sometimes notice how my firepower gets stronger whenever he tries to irritate me to keep me motivated." I held my chin as I remembered it.
"Aizawa? I suppose that's the guy with long hair and scarf along his neck, right?" She asked.
"Huh? Ah. Yes. He's the one who raised me and helped me control it."
"I'm grateful that you're in good hands."
"Yes. I'm really lucky. I have the best dad, my friends are the best and I'm with the cutest and most adorable elf in the world." I said shyly.
"Ohhh~~ That cute guy with indigo hair, right?" She cooed which made me blush.
"Wait. How did you know about that, also about Aizawa? Also earlier you heard what I was thinking. How? Also, where are we?" I asked. She sighed.
"This place is like purgatory." She bluntly said. I expanded my eyes. "Well, I'm pretty sure you know what purgatory is, but just like I said, LIKE. You're not dead and you won't die. Don't worry. All your thoughts, your past and everything else you had in your world are connected here, that's why I managed to hear what you were thinking and that I saw the ones from your memories."
"Wha- I don't get it." I confusedly voiced out. She just smiled at me lovingly.
"My dear, you don't have to know the minor details, and why I'm here talking to you, but you need to choose."
"Choose?"
She nodded, then she opened her palm and a hologram-like popped out. There was Tamaki, Aizawa and Togata behind them. They're looking at someone from the window.
Wait, is that me?
"Yes. That's you, it's been a week since then. Do you remember what happened?" She asked.

I looked down as I tried to remember the scene before I blacked out. I slowly expanded my eyes.
"T-That 'Trigger' that Kurayami gave me. It made me go berserk and then I... I lost my consciousness." I said and looked at her, she had an annoyed look on her face. "W-what?"
"Yeah, that bastard Kurayami." She pulled me to a hug and made me lay my head on her chest as she stroked my hair.
"Bastard? Isn't he your husband?" I asked her and I heard her make a 'tsk' sound.
"Yeah, yeah. He's was husband. 'WAS'" She said as she let me go and gestures her hand in a quotation motion. "I don't even know why I fell in love with that asshole in the first place." She mumbled pouting.
I chuckled at her actions. She's like a child throwing tantrums. She heard my laugh and looked at me. She cupped my cheeks with her hand.
"Well, if being with him, means giving birth to an angel, I guess I can manage that." She gave me the sweetest close eyed smile with a bit of tear on the side of her orbs. I closed my eyes as I melted into her touch.
"...but, you need to choose now." Her tone suddenly changed. I opened my eyes. "And just like I said you won't die. Death isn't in the choices." She assured me. I exhaled a relief breath.
"What am I going to choose from and why?"
"The 'Trigger' that Kurayami injected to you, he said that it's not the common trigger that was used by those who had weak quirks, right?" She asked me. I nodded.
"Yes, he said that they use it to the criminals, resulting in them dying because their body can't keep up with the sudden change once it runs out of effect, but he said that I have multiple quirks so I can survive death," I explained.
"Well, now that you were injected by it. Your quirk cells are slowly being damaged by it. Even if you have multiple quirks, that doesn't change the fact that Trigger destroys and can even remove your quirks."
"Oh..."
I looked at the projector once again. Togata was begging Tamaki and Aizawa to go back to their room, saying it's time for their examination, they didn't want to at first, saying that they don't want to leave my side. But Togata managed to convince them.
"Well, as you can see, your boys are eager to see you wake up and it's making them worry to the point that they forget to take their medications and sometimes they don't eat just to visit you and see you."
"Please explain it to me," I asked her.
"As I said earlier, your quirk cells are being damaged, but that doesn't mean it can't be healed. Resting. It's the best medicine, which means you'll be sleeping for even longer. A normal human being should stay in bed for 1-3 months to fully regain and heal their quirk cells, but you know what you have right?" I nodded. "It means you'll be sleeping for a year or more, you'll be left behind, by your classmates, they'll be 2nd years and you'll have to attend your 1st year, and your Tamaki will be graduating, he'll be gone in UA, by the time you wake up."
I stayed silent for a while.
"What's the other option?"
"You can wake up right now."
I stood up in surprise.
"R-really?" She nodded. "Then I'll choose that!" I happily answered.
"But, that means your all destroyed quirk cells won't be healed, you might end up losing your quirk."
"Huh?"
"You might end up being quirkless."
"Then that means, I can't be a hero anymore..."
"That's all that I can offer." She said in a sad tone.
"I need to choose between possibly living quirkless and saving my father and lover from worsening their condition just to see and check on me, right?"
"Mhmm." She hummed.
I fell silent, then I let out a laugh. She looked at me confused.
"It's not that hard to choose, everyone, knows what answers they should pick." I gave her a warm smile. She patted my head.
"I'm thankful you grew up to be such a great person."
She stood up from the bench and it suddenly disappeared.
"Now, that you've chosen your answer already..." She took a deep sigh. "I really wanted to spend more time with you, but I don't want to make your loved ones suffer." She sighed again.
I noticed that my feet are slowly fading. I think I'm going back to my body. I looked at her and sadness can really be seen on her face, so I hugged her. She was surprised when I did that.
"Thank you."
She didn't know what to do, but she hugged me back later on. Half of my body has already disappeared.
"Thank you, Mother."
I said as the fading reached my chest. Then her tears started flowing out. She kissed my head for the last time. Calling someone 'Mother' feels so good. Maybe that's why she cried also, hearing her daughter call her mother, must be something she really misses.
I closed my eyes as my body started to drift away. Now, I wonder if they'll be there if I woke up. I can't wait.
