I arrived at the restaurant 30 minutes later after I had changed and freshened up. I was dressed in a black and white striped tee tucked into dark blue high waisted trousers. I had on some gray zip up wedge sneakers. My hair was slightly curled and on top of my head was a light grey French beret. Across my body was a small gray Fendi crossbody bag and I also carried a white cardigan along with my phone.

"Meimei."

I turned around and saw the woman who will always be my sister, no matter who I was.

She was wearing a silky blue off-the-shoulder dress that reached just a little above her knees. Her hair was beautifully curled and she wore a bright smile. One particular detail I noticed was the absence of her engagement ring on her right ring finger.

I smiled and gave her a tight hug.

"I missed you meimei." She said and I hugged her tighter.

"Come on, they're waiting." She said, pulling me towards the empty restaurant aisles. I assumed they rented it out for the sake of privacy. We stopped at a table near the large glass windows of the restaurant and there sat my 'parents'.

My 'mother' wore a red blouse with a ruffled collar and her neck was adorned by her favorite pearls. Her hair was neatly tied in an effortless bun, making the pearl earrings she was wearing more prominent. She silently sipped what I assumed to be tea as she waited for as to sit.

Beside her was my 'father'. He wore a nicely fitted blue shirt underneath a matching jacket. He wore a grim expression as he crossed his arms across his chest.

"Mom." Jie called out, making them look at us.

"Ah yes.. sit down dears." Mom said, beckoning us to take a seat. Jie took the seat across from Dad while I took the seat across from Mom.

"Shuijing dear, what would you like? They have a variety of seafood here and the desserts-" Mom said, pushing a menu in front of me but Dad stopped her.

"Let's cut to the chase. She knows why we're all here." Dad said, making Mom sink back to her seat.

"Go on Shuijing. Or is it Soojung now?" Dad said with a sneer. I kept my composure. I wasn't going to let him see me as a weakling. Not anymore.

"Did you have something to do with my kidnapping?" I asked and Mom looked at me in shock.

"Shuijing! How can you say such a thing! Your father would never do that! Right, dear?" She said, turning to my Dad who was silent.

"D-dear? Why aren't you saying anything? It's not true is it? " She asked, lightly shaking Dad's arm.

"It's true." He stated calmly and Mom let out a gasp as the tears I didn't even know I was holding back were freely falling from my eyes.

"D-dad.." Jie cried out, tears in her eyes.

"What? You know that the BLANC & ECLARE Trading Group are our number 1 rivals besides the Daoming Group. I had to do something to distract them in expanding their business at the time and your grandparents were desperate for another grandchild. I did nothing wro-" Mom cut Dad off with a hard slap.

"Nothing wrong?! You took away an innocent child from her family! Her parents suffered because of you! You're a monster!" Mom said as tears rolled down her tears uncontrollably.

"So what are you going to do now that you have the Jung Empire at your fingertips, sue me? Put me out of business?" He sneered and I calmly sighed.

"No. I won't do any of that. If I did, I wouldn't be any better than you." I stated.

"I won't do it because I still want to thank you for raising me as your daughter. You could've chosen to kill me but you didn't." I said giving a weak smile to all of them as Jie grasped my hand tightly.

"Thank you for everything." I said, standing and hugging Jie while I gave a warm smile to my mom.

"Thank you...Dad." I said before walking away, tears flowing once again from my eyes.

I drove to Ximen's house with tears in my eyes. I had just parked my car when I heard someone scream from the inside, making me sprint towards Ximen's house only to find my boyfriend laughing to himself. He was holding the phone up to his lips and near one of Ximen's spare rooms.

"Feng Meizuo." I calmly stated, making him freeze and turn to me, smiling anxiously.

"Hi sweetie.. you know the funniest thing just happen-" He said walking over to me in a nervous voice but stopped when he saw the tears in my eyes.

"I'll call you back Ximen." He said before hanging up the phone and hugging me.

"What happened?" He asked, rubbing my back as I sobbed onto his chest.

"It's true Zuo.. my dad..h-h-he took me away from my family b-because he wanted to ruin my family!" I said, sobbing loudly.

"It's okay Shui.. It's okay.. I'm here." Meizuo said, kissing the top of my head.

We stayed like that for a few more minutes until I stopped crying.

"Oh yeah Zuo, who screamed earlier? Was that Shancai? What did you and Ximen do?" I interrogated my boyfriend who was now scratching his head.

"Well.. we kinda locked her and Ah Si up in one of the spare rooms." He confessed and I hit him on the back of the head.

"Idiots! I told you and Ximen to leave them alone." I scolded my 6-foot boyfriend who turned into a whining puppy in front of me.

"Sorry Shui. We won't do it again." He said, puckering his lips but I relented.

"No kisses for 2 weeks." I said, making his eyes widen.

"That's too harsh babe!" He said, pouting as I smiled mischievously.

"How about no kisses for 1 week?" He suggested.

"One month." I answered back.

"5 days?" He continued.

"Two months." I continued.

"4 days?" He asked.

"Three months." I spat back, laughing inwardly.

"3 days?" He added.

"1 year." I said and he gasped.

"Okay okay fine. You win." He pouted, turning his face away from me. I smiled and lightly kissed him on the cheek.

"1 week Zuo." I said, making him smile as he hugged me.

THE NEXT DAY

10 AM

I sighed as I read the headline of the article Ximen sent me this morning. I was talking to them (all four of them) via video chat.

"You doing okay Shui?" Ximen asked and I gave him a sad smile.

"Want me to come over?" Meizuo asked and I shook my head.

"I'm okay guys really." I answered, making the two boys frown.

"Shui, if you don't want to come later, I'll completely understand." Ximen said.

"Yeah, you should take it easy for a while Shui." Ah Si said in agreement.

"No, I'll come Xixi. Chance for me to distract myself and get some fresh air." I said in a cheery tone.

"Are you sure Shui?" Lei asked in a worried tone.

"Guys, I'm fine okay? I promise I'm okay." I reassured the four boys who have been such a big part of my life.

"All right. Meizuo and I gotta go Shui, we still have to iron out some details for the party later." Ximen said as he waved goodbye and moved out of the frame, leaving his phone in Meizuo's hand.

"Me too Shui. I have to go pick up Shancai. We have a date today." Ah Si bragged excitedly and I laughed before he exited the call.

"Me too. I have to go help out my parents at the company. I'll call you later Shui okay?" Lei said and I nodded as he waved goodbye before exiting the call as well, leaving me alone with my boyfriend.

"Well Zuo, aren't you gonna help Ximen?" I said before he pouted.

"Where's my goodbye kiss?" He complained and I laughed as I heard Ximen yell in frustration in the background.

"For the love of God Feng Meizuo, you're seeing her in less than 6 hours. Say goodbye to your girlfriend and help me with this!" Ximen yelled and I laughed before blowing a kiss to Meizuo and hanging up.

5PM

I was getting ready to go to Ximen's house. He was holding a National Tea Tasting Party. It was mostly just us along with Xiaoyou, Shancai, Xiaozi, Qinghe and Li Zhen. I assumed Shancai was with Ah Si since he was way too happy when I called him earlier.

Everyone was already there except for me, Ah Si, and Shancai. Meizuo was already there since he had to talk to the press as Ximen's soon-to-be business partner. He offered to pick me up as soon as he was done with the interviews but I declined and said I'd drive myself there.

I arrived at Ximen's house in less than 20 minutes. I parked my car next to Ah Si's car and smoothed down my dress as I got out of the car. I was in a Jill Stuart New York long white silk halter dress with Paris Mirror silver strappy heels. My hair was curled slightly so that you could see the 3-piece diamond and pearl dangling earrings on my ears. I carried a satin black clutch bag with a diamond buckle and grabbed my phone and keys before heading inside.

I was welcomed by some of Ximen's house hands. They knew me well since I used to come over everyday when the boys were in high school. Ximen and Lei would help me with my homework while Ah Si and Meizuo would treat me to snacks.

"Shuijing!" I saw Qinghe waving at me frantically. He was with Li Zhen, Shancai and Xiaozi. I smiled as I walked closer to them.

"Hi everyone." I greeted as Qinghe blushed.

"You look so pretty Shui-or is it now?" Xiaozi asked and I smiled.

"Shuijing or Soojung is fine." I said and she gave me a smile back. Xiaozi actually wasn't that bad and she actually helped a lot in bringing Ah Si and Shancai together.

"Shancai, how are things with you and Ah Si?" I asked the girl in question but she kept silent as she tried to think of what to answer me.

"Shui!" I turned around and saw my boyfriend smiling at me, beckoning me to come over so I excused myself before walking over to Meizuo who took my hand in his. This prompted the reporters and photographers to rapidly take pictures.

"Tengtang Shui- oh, Jung Soojung is it? What is your relationship to Feng Meizuo?" One snotty-sounding reporter asked.

Wow, my first day as Jung Soojung, and I'm getting grilled already.

"He's my boyfriend." I confidently answered as I faced Meizuo happily who stared at me lovingly.

"Is that true? You're dating?" Another asked, turning to Meizuo for confirmation. He smiled before kissing my cheek as I smiled shyly in response.

"Does that answer your question?" He asked as he pulled me closer to him as we posed for pictures with his arm wrapped around my waist and his other hand holding my hand protectively.

The netizens were gonna eat this up tomorrow.

"How long have you been dating? Are there plans for marriage?" Another asked and I sighed as I turned to Meizuo.

"We've known each other since we were kids but it wasn't until recently that I realized that I couldn't bear to spend another minute without her by my side." He explained and they all awed. I smiled in admiration at my boyfriend's words.

"Ms. Jung, you've been friends for years and I'm sure you know your boyfriend's history with women. Are you not scared of being another name on his list of conquests?" Another reporter asked and I flinched as I felt Meizuo's aura darken. He was about to answer when I calmly placed my hand on his chest and gave him a warm smile.

"I'm well aware of his history with women. In fact, I was the one who helped him with most of his past girlfriends. I know that I'm not his first girlfriend or first anything for that matter, but I'm not scared nor disgusted by the fact that he's been with other women. What can I say? My boyfriend's quite a looker." I joked which prompted laughs from the reporters as Meizuo posed jokingly.

"He won't hurt me. I know he won't." I said in full confidence.

"How do you know that Ms. Jung?" The same reporter asked.

"Because he loves me and I love him." I simply stated.

"And you Meizuo? Is she really your last?" Another asked and Meizuo looked at me and nodded.

"Yes. She's my last because she's the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with. I'd rather die than hurt her. I love her more than anything. " He said before kissing my forehead sweetly.

And not even 2 hours later, an article about me and Meizuo was already up.

"Hey Shui. Meizuo. You're both blowing up every news and gossip website." Ximen teased and I groaned as Meizuo laughed in amusement.

"HOT COUPLE ALERT: JUNG SOOJUNG & FENG MEIZUO, THE LOVE STORY BETWEEN THE ONLY SON OF THE FENG CORPORATION AND THE LONG LOST DAUGHTER OF THE JUNG EMPIRE"

"Oh, how I hate the media." I sarcastically spat as Ximen handed me a plate of cheesecake.

"Speaking of dating, where is Shancai?" Meizuo asked when Ah Si suddenly slammed the glass of wine he was drinking and headed for the door.

"Ah Si, where are you going?" Meizuo asked, grabbing Ah Si's arm, preventing him from leaving.

"Home." Ah Si answered and my eyebrows furrowed.

"Home?" Meizuo repeated.

"What? Home? Who's going home?" Qinghe asked, everyone now paying attention to what was going on with Ah Si.

"It's late. I should get going too." Xiaoyou squeaked out.

"It's too late. It might be dangerous. Just stay here." Ximen offered but Xiaoyou shook her head and I looked at the two of them. Something tells me Xiaoyou wanting to leave may have had something to do with Ximen, Ah Si, and Shancai.

"Yes, just stay here. We can have a sleepover tonight." Xiaozi chimed in as Qinghe applauded in agreement.

"Ah Si, stay here tonight too." I said, getting up and standing next to Meizuo.

"No." Ah Si rejected.

"What happened? Why do you suddenly want to go home?" Meizuo interrogated.

"Nothing happened." Ah Si denied.

"I'm sure something did." Meizuo interjected and I felt Ah Si's anger boil over making me get in between him and Meizuo in case a fight broke out. I thought Ah Si was gonna punch Meizuo when Shancai suddenly ran in the room.

"Shancai, what's going on with you two? Why are you two so confused?" Meizuo asked, clearly frustrated with dealing with the situation of the two. I rubbed his arm to calm him down.

"Daoming Si. I love you." Shancai suddenly stated and my eyes went wide as I turned to Meizuo who was just as shocked as the rest of us but not as much as Ah Si.

"Listen, everyone. Daoming Si and I have been dating for a while now. Sorry that we kept it from you." Shancai continued as she faced all of us.

"It's not strange that you're dating, but did you just confess your feelings?" Ximen said, getting over the shock of what Shancai just said.

"Yes." Shancai said as she nodded and I smiled as Ah Si turned to Shancai with a huge smile.

"Ah Si, why are you still standing there? Shancai confessed her feelings. Aren't you going to do anything?" Meizuo asked and Ah Si smiled wider as he hugged Shancai happily.

We all applauded the couple and smiled as Shancai finally admitted her feelings for Ah Si. I smiled as Meizuo hugged me from behind and lightly kissed my cheek.

How I wish things can always be like this.
