"Thank you so much for meeting us, dear. It's a pleasure to have you in our brand." Sooyeon said and I smiled.

"No. Thank you. This is a really great opportunity and I feel honored that you guys chose me as a brand ambassador for BLANC & ECLARE." I said and they both smiled.

"Well, tell us about yourself. We would like to get to know you." She added and I smiled.

"Well... I'm 22 years old. I have an older sister who lives in Paris with her fiancé. I graduated with a degree in business.." I rambled on.

"And you have a fiancé as well?" Tyler asked and my eyebrows furrowed.

"Huh?" I asked and Sooyeon pointed to my right ring finger where a rose gold ring with an opal gem twinkled brightly.

"Oh. This is just a birthday gift." I blushed as I answered which prompted them to share a knowing look.

"Mhm. And may I ask where it's from?" Sooyeon asked as she sipped her wine.

"From a friend." I answered nervously and she laughed.

"Shuijing, I'm an engaged woman and I've been in love with the same man for the past 8 years. You must be very special to this 'friend' of yours." She teased.

"Is he.. a boyfriend perhaps?" She added and I nodded shyly.

"Aww. Young love, how sweet. May I?" She asked and I showed her the ring on my finger.

"Well, your boyfriend's got good taste. This is gorgeous." She said as I retracted my hand back, giving her a small smile.

"He is very sweet but.." I trailed off.

"What's wrong?" Tyler asked and Sooyeon listened in.

"We kind of got into a little fight before I came here so.." I confessed and they frowned.

"May we know the reason? I know we just met but I just feel so at ease with you." Sooyeon said as she lightly squeezed my hand and I squeezed hers back.

"Me too. Well, he kinda got a little jealous that I was meeting a guy for work and we ended up arguing about it." I said and she hummed in understanding.

"I get where your boyfriend's coming from because Tyler and I used to argue about that too." She said and I looked to Tyler who nodded.

"Really?" I asked and she nodded.

"You see, I travel a lot for business and fashion shows all around the world to get some inspiration for my clothes. And most of those trips include meeting up with designers and stylists who are men so Tyler really chewed me out regarding that." She explained.

"So what happened after?" I asked and she smiled, holding Tyler's hand in hers.

"We talked about it and all. It's not that big of a deal." She said and I looked at her in disbelief.

"Didn't you feel offended?" I asked.

"I did at first since he was treating me like an object rather than his girlfriend but we talked about it and, what was it that you said to me sweetie?" She said as she looked at Tyler.

"Being protective is okay because that just means you really care and love the person but don't let that become the reason why that person pulls away from you. You should trust them and you never treat that person as an object you can control. Treat that person as a person." He said and I nodded in understanding.

We talked for a few more hours before I went home. They reminded me about my first shoot the following day and they said it would take about 2 days so they gave me the details and things I should bring. It was about 7 pm when I got home so I was so tired when I laid on my bed and opened my phone to find a thousand messages and phone calls from Ximen, Lei, and Ah Si but none from Meizuo. I sighed and contemplated calling him. I sighed and threw my phone on the bed before heading to the bathroom.

I took a shower and changed my clothes. I wrapped my hair in a towel and started packing some clothes to bring to the shoot as well as some toiletries and necessities. After placing everything in my small black suitcase, I removed the towel and reached for my hairdryer.

My phone beeped again as I dried my hair. It was a text message so I ignored it but then my phone started ringing, my eyebrows furrowed in irritation. All I wanted to do was finish drying my hair and get some sleep. I groaned as I reached for my phone and looked at the caller ID.

It was Ximen.

"Hello Ximen?" I could hear music in the background. I assumed he was at a bar.

"Shuijing! Thank God! Where are you? We've been calling you for the past 5 hours!"

"I just got home. Where are you? Why is it so loud?"

"We're at the bar where we frequent and we could really use you here Shui." My eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"Why? What's wrong?"

"Your boyfriend is drunk out of his mind. He won't stop taking shots, I tried stopping him but he's not stopping and he keeps calling your name."

"Can't you just tell Ah Si to knock him out so you can take him home?" I heard Ximen sigh.

"I would if he was here except he's not Shui."

"Where is he?"

"He's at home with Shancai. Apparently, that idiot wants to spend time with her even though they saw each other at lunchtime and every day at home." I sighed and closed my eyes.

"Okay okay. I'm on my way." I said before hanging up.

I got changed into a white shirt and kept my gray pajama pants on and slipped on some white sneakers. I grabbed my gray oversized cardigan, phone, and car keys before heading out.

What? I'm not gonna dress up that much because I'm still gonna come home afterward.

So I inputted the address that Ximen gave me and drove there in about 20 minutes. I headed inside and looked around for Ximen, Meizuo, and Lei.

I spotted Lei asleep in the corner and Ximen's eyes widened when he spotted me. He hurriedly ran over and dragged me to their table.

There I found my boyfriend taking shots like no tomorrow. What irritated me was the two girls beside him. One was wearing a bright green body stocking underneath a black tube top and miniskirt while the other was wearing a red bandage mini dress.

"Hey handsome, let's go dance." The one in green said as she pulled Meizuo's arm.

"Yeah, let's have some fun!" The other said as she pulled on Meizuo's other arm. I was about to interject when Meizuo spoke up.

"Get your hands off me. I have a girlfriend." He said as he pushed away their hands, downing the glass of alcohol in his hands.

"Where is she? Come on, she won't know." The other invited and I was ready to hit her when someone pulled me back. I turned back and saw Lei. When did he wake up?

"I said no! I told you I have a girlfriend didn't I?" He said once more, clearly annoyed. I inwardly smiled at my boyfriend's loyalty even when he's drunk.

"If you have one, where is she?" One snottily asked and I stepped forward.

"Here." I said making the two girls and Meizuo look up at me.

"Hey! You look a lot like my girlfriend. So pretty.." Meizuo said, eyes dreary as he pointed at me.

"You're lying aren't you? You're not his girlfriend." One girl claimed and Lei pulled me back, stopping my fist from landing on this talking mannequin's face.

"Ladies let me introduce you to Meizuo's girlfriend: Tengtang Shuijing." Ximen said as both the girls' eyes widened in shock.

"You're Tengtang Shuijing? I don't believe you." The little red one snottily said and her friend nodded in agreement. I raised my eyebrows and handed them my business card.

It was a small black paper with gold lettering that said:

I smirked as I saw the girls' faces pale.

"Is that enough proof for you?" I asked as they shakily returned my business card to me.

"Y-y-es! S-s-sorry!" They said before scurrying away. I sighed and went over to Meizuo who was still drinking.

He was about to down another glass when I took it from his hands.

"Hey! That's mine!" He complained.

"Meizuo, that's enough. I'm taking you home." I said as I grabbed his hand, standing up. He swatted my hand away.

"No! I'm only leaving if Shuijing comes! I wanna tell her I'm sorry I was being an insensitive jerk! And! And that I love her so much." He pouted and I slightly laughed at my boyfriend. He's so adorable when he's drunk.

"But I am Shuijing." I stated as I sat back down.

"Hmph. Prove it." He said as he pouted. I lightly pecked him on the lips which caused his eyes to widen.

"Do you believe me now?" I asked and he smiled before cupping my face, his thumbs rubbing my cheeks.

"You're really Shuijing..my Shuijing." He said, caressing my face before falling back on the couch. I sighed, he must have had way too much to drink. I turned to Ximen and Lei.

"Help me bring him to my car. I'll take him home." I said before standing up as they nodded.

After getting help from Ximen and Lei, I drove Meizuo and myself home. I glanced at the passenger seat where Meizuo slept. His face was red from all the alcohol he consumed and I sighed as I reached my house.

I got out of the car and closed the driver side door before heading over the other side and shaking Meizuo awake.

"Zuo, come on wake up. I can't carry you inside by myself." I said as I shook him awake. He groaned before slowly getting up and groggily walking towards me.

"Come on." I said as I placed his arm around my shoulder as we walked towards the door. I huffed as I helped him inside. I decided to let him sleep in my extra bed because the bedroom he often uses is the farthest room in the house.

I huffed as I placed him on the bed.

"That was exhausting." I said as I caught my breath and took his jacket and shoes off. I sighed as I walked over to my table and poured some water on a small glass before heading over to Meizuo. I sat down beside him on the bed.

"Zuo, come on. Drink this." I said as I supported the back of his head as he slowly got up, eyes still closed, and drank the water before lying back down.

"It's cold." He complained with his eyes closed and I sighed, grabbing the remote for the air conditioner and turned the temperature up.

"Just turn it off and open the window. I like the breeze." He said and I closed my eyes before turning off the air conditioner and turning back to Meizuo.

"I don't feel well." He groggily said with his eyes slightly open. I smiled slightly and looked at him.

"I want to eat round grained rice porridge." He continued and my lips quirked up into a smile. Seeing him like this made my slight annoyance towards him melt away.

"Well, it's late but if you want some, I'll go and buy it for you." I sweetly said as I tapped his nose. He smiled before continuing to look at me.

"Hey... About what happened earlier-" I started but was cut off when Meizuo grabbed me by the waist and pulled me closer to him, our faces inches apart.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you feel like an object." He said as he stared into my eyes deeply. I stared back before saying.

"Then why did you say those things?" I asked and he sighed.

"I've loved you for years and now that you're mine, I'm scared of losing you to some other guy. I don't think my heart can take it Shui." He said groggily which made me frown as I placed a kiss on the tip of his nose.

"Come on Zuo, drink this. It'll make you feel better." I said as I reached for the glass again but he shook his head.

"Why isn't the water temperature 43 degrees Celsius?" He complained and I stared at him in disbelief.

"Fine. If you won't drink it, then I will." I said as turned my back on him and was about to drink it when Meizuo got up and wrapped his arms around my waist, hugging me from behind. I froze as he rested his head on my shoulder.

"Stay with me tonight." He said and I blushed profusely.

"W-what? I'm not staying on the same bed as you." I rejected and he sighed.

"All right. Good night." He said and I yelped as he pulled me along and lied back down on the bed.

"Zuo, Iet go." I said as I tried to get out of his grip but he just groaned and pulled me closer. I sighed and smiled slightly before reaching for the blanket and covered us. I cuddled closer as Meizuo pulled me into his chest as I closed my eyes, drifting off to dreamland.

I woke up the next morning alone in the bed. I frowned as I looked around the room and spotted Meizuo's jacket draped across a chair as well as his shoes and sweater, neatly folded on the couch near my closet.

I slipped on my slippers before heading downstairs and walking to the kitchen where Meizuo was cooking breakfast.

"Hey." I said which caused him to turn around and give me a warm smile.

"Good morning Shui." He said as I sat down, and he placed a plate of cheese omelet in front of me. I smiled as he set down a glass of orange juice before sitting in front of me.

"Feel better?" I asked as I ate the omelet, and he did the same as he nodded in response. After a few minutes of silence, I had finished eating and was about to place my plate in the sink when Meizuo stood up and walked over to me.

"What?" I asked as I placed down the glass of juice I was drinking on the table. My breath got caught in my throat as he leaned in and stared at me.

"What?" I repeated as he continued staring at me. I flinched when he suddenly wiped the corner of my mouth with his thumb. I blushed as he licked that part of his thumb but continued to look straight into my eyes.

"And here I thought you were a neat eater." He teased and I pouted as he let out a small laugh. I blushed as I pushed his face away from me and headed for the sink to wash my plate and utensils when he suddenly hugged me from behind, his head resting on my shoulder.

"I'll do it. Go on and relax." He said and I turned my face slightly to look at him. He stared up at me and pouted.

"Please." He said and I smiled a little before moving away and headed for the couch. I checked the time on my phone: 7:30 am. It was a Saturday and I had to head for the photoshoot at 11 am so I decided to quickly grab my laptop upstairs and read the other business proposals and modeling offers in my emails.

After about 30 minutes of me reading through the emails, Meizuo suddenly sits down beside me and slowly closes my laptop, placing it on the table in front of us.

I looked at him in confusion as he crossed his arms and looked at me.

"It's my turn to take care of you. Go and get some rest." He said and I shook my head.

"I can't. I have to finish reading those so I can send in my reply by Monday then I have to head for the photoshoot. Come on, hand it back Zuo." I said as I held my hand out for my laptop but he placed an apple instead.

"Don't go." He pleaded as he looked at me with sad eyes.

"Why?" I asked and he leaned back on the couch, feigning a pained expression.

"My head hurts." He said as covered his eyes with his arm.

"Well according to Ximen and Lei, you downed 30 shots of alcohol last night. So who's fault is that?" I continued and he stayed still. I sighed.

"Fine fine, I'll give you something for that okay?" I said but he shook his head. I whined and quickly straddled him as I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"I told you to control your alcohol intake, why didn't you?" I said in a whiny voice and I felt him smile as he sat up and looped his arms under my legs and placed me back down on the couch as I squished his face in my hands.

He didn't answer but instead stared at me before walking upstairs. My eyebrows furrowed as I headed upstairs, curious as to where he had gone.

I went to my bedroom and peeked through the doorway and found Meizuo sitting in my suitcase, my clothes that have been folded are now on my bed.

"What are you doing?" I asked with furrowed brows and Meizuo slightly turned his head towards me with a sad face.

"Take me with you." He said with a pout and I did the same before heading over and sitting beside him on the opposite side of my suitcase.

"Don't you have to stuff to do? Or do you need to meet the boys?" I asked as I rested my head on his shoulder as he grabbed my hand, our fingers intertwined.

"No. Ximen and I had just passed our class project. Lei is busy with his recital and Ah Si's with Shancai." He explained and I slightly smiled.

"Then I guess you can come. I might need an assistant." I teased as I looked at our intertwined fingers and he laughed lightly before kissing my forehead.

After repacking my stuff, taking a shower, and getting dressed, we drove down to where the photo shoot was taking place.

It was in a beautiful meadow with flowers all around and at the top of a hill was an elegant looking mansion with a gold-tinted gate. I smiled as I rolled down the window and breathed in the fresh air before smiling back at Meizuo who was driving, grasping his free hand.

We arrived 30 minutes early and the staff were getting ready to have some lunch before starting so I greeted them all and went to find Sooyeon and Tyler.

"Hey guys!" I greeted as I spotted the two standing together, overseeing the meadow. They both turned around and smiling at me. I walked towards them, Sooyeon gave me a hug and Tyler gave me a friendly kiss on the cheek, much to Meizuo's annoyance.

"Hey you." Sooyeon said as she grasped Tyler's arm.

"This place is gorgeous." I said as I pulled on Meizuo's hand and stood where Sooyeon and Tyler stood.

"Isn't it? But not as beautiful as you." Tyler joked and Sooyeon laughed as I blushed in embarrassment. Meizuo grumbled which Sooyeon noticed.

"Oh my. Is this him Shuijing? Your boyfriend?"Sooyeon asked as she stared at Meizuo beside me.

"Yes. Feng Meizuo, nice to meet you." He said as he stuck his hand out and shook both their hands, lingering more when he shook Tyler's. I giggled slightly as they both cast me a knowing look.

"So you're the boyfriend Shuijing has told us about." Tyler said as he winked at me, earning a laugh from me and Sooyeon. Meizuo kept quiet and looked at Tyler.

"Yes he is." I added, grasping Meizuo's arm as he smiled down at me.

"Too bad. I would have loved to go on a date with you Shuijing." Tyler interjected causing Meizuo to glare at him while me and Sooyeon held in our laughter.

"What did you just say?" Meizuo asked threateningly and Tyler just looked at him with a funny look on his face.

It went silent for a minute or two-

"HAHAHAHAHAHA! I'm sorry, I couldn't hold it in anymore. Ty, that's enough." Sooyeon said as she laughed and pulled Tyler away from Meizuo who looked at me like I was insane.

"What? What's so funny?" Meizuo asked, confused.

"Sorry about that Meizuo, my fiancé likes to mess around but he's harmless." She explained as she held Tyler's arm as Tyler held her free hand.

"F-fiancé?" Meizuo asked hesitantly as he looked back at me and I nodded in response. His eyes widen as he looks back at Sooyeon and Tyler who are now looking at each other lovingly.

"I-i- I am so sorry! I didn't know!" Meizuo said, flustered as he raised his hands in defense but we just laughed at him.
