Morgan's POV
"Did you make it there safe?" Mom asked over the phone. "Yeah. I did. I landed an hour ago. I didn't call you cause I didn't know if you were in a meeting or not." I said, picking up my Starbucks Chocolate Chip Frappe. "Oh, honey, it wouldn't have mattered. Josh would have understood. This is the first time you've traveled alone. I'm just glad you're with Dylan. You are with Dylan, right?" Mom asked. "Um, yeah." I said, lying to her; I hated lying to Mom, but there would be no way that Mom would let me fly to New York to meet someone neither she nor I knew. "Can I talk to him real quick?" she asked. "Um... he's talking to someone right now." I said, lying again. "Oh, ok. I guess I'll talk to him next break. Josh likes to talk, I have to admit. I just wish I could've taken you three with me this time." She said. "It's ok, Mom." I said, walking to the apartment building of my destination. "Well, I have to let you go, honey. We're starting the meeting again. Tell Dylan I said hi and have fun with whatever you two will be doing." Mom said. "Ok, love you." I said. "Love you, too, honey. Bye, be safe." "Bye." I said, walking into the apartment building, tugging on my beanie
Just as I hung up with my Mom, who was currently on the other side of the country, Josie called me. "HEEEYYY GGGIIRRLL!!" Josie yelled into the phone. "God, Josie! Calm down!" I said. "I guess you landed safely. Did your Mom call?" she asked. "Yeah, everything went to plan. I just hope she forgets to call Uncle Dylan." I said, climbing some stairs. "Well, at least we know he'll cover for you, right?" Josie said. "I hope." I said, drinking on my drink. "Wait, did you get Starbucks without your white girl best friend???" Josie asked, apparently hearing my drink. "Well, I'm sorry. I couldn't really get Starbucks with you since you're not here." I said, climbing the final set of stairs to find 3 familiar faces from Friday. It was the guy with the fedora, the redheaded chick, and J. Daniel Atlas. "So Jayden is here and he told me to tell you that you better buy him some new Jordan's." Josie said. "AND SOME NEW SUNGLASSES WOULD BE GREAT!" I heard Jayden yell in the background. "Hey, Josie, I'm gonna have to let you go." I said as the three Horsemen watched me. "Hey, NOPE! Don't think you're gonna hang up on me! We were talking about souvenirs!" Josie yelled, loud enough for the Horsemen to hear, making them giggle. "Josie, I'm at the location." I said. "Oh....... So? Is he there?" she asked, whispering. "It depends. Who are you talking about?" I asked, as we talked about three guys that could possibly be here. "You know, the guy in the crowd. Not the volunteer, but the really cute guy with the dimples?" Josie said. "Oh my God, Josie. I'm not even going to ask. No, he's not here, yet. I have to go." I said. "Come on, M&M!" "Jos. I really need to let you go." I said. "Ok, but call me when you're done. We need to talk about the presents you promised me." She said. "I didn't promise you anything." I said. "You think that but you did so....." "Bye, Josie." I said. "Tell me if there are any other cute guys there!" she said. "Josie! Bye!" I said, hanging up before she could say any more embarrassing stuff.

I looked over at the Horsemen, the one in the fedora holding a laugh. "I'm sorry. Best friend has ADHD." I said, justifying Josie's random outburst. "Now, let me guess. Maggie, Margret, Morgan....." the guy in the fedora said. "He looked at your coffee cup." Daniel Atlas said, cutting him off. "That wasn't mentalism. It was an observation. Another is that you are absolutely gorgeous." He said, winking at me, making me blush. "Merritt, she's in high school. That's illegal." The redhead said. "Is it wrong to state the obvious?" he said. "Question, why are we waiting out here?" I asked, innocently. "Well, Mr. Mentalist over here left the key inside the apartment. We're waiting for Jack to..." Daniel Atlas said. "Unlock it? I'm guessing he's the pick pocket. You know, not every lock picker needs metal." I said, walking over to the door. I grabbed the knob, closed my eyes, letting my mind make the correct key. "Hey, guys. Sorry I made you wait . . . wait. What is she doing?" I heard a voice come up. I turned the mental key, unlocking the door, and turned the knob. "I'm unlocking the door." I said, looking to see the four and final Horseman. "Woah. Cool." He said as I pushed the door open. "After you." The guy in the fedora said.

Gamer
I am making this story as a revamp, edit, and transformation of the legendary gamer into something that can be better related to. I have done some work on writing, and also put more work into preparing the introductory thoughts. I will have a bare minimum of weekly updates, but there may be more depending on how much time I have. This story will follow Gregory Jeffrey Drake, a young man whose life is partially micromanaged by his parents, and in time will come to be a powerful character in his own story. For now though, the main focus for Gregory is to grow and find his place in this new world he has been dropped into. Gregory gained a new type of class, and must use it if he hopes to stay alive and make the world a better place.

This is one of those 'what if' adaptations. I've always wondered why Mr Rochester had to be broken so thoroughly before he could be happy with Jane Eyre.
