Eleanor

Liam has returned. He claims once more, he is in love and he is stricken by it. Emma has been here a day. She sleeps mostly. I suppose she wasn't able to before.

I'm by the window. It's tinted. I can see the sun, but it doesn't burn as much. Alastair greets Liam with his usually insult of his outfit.

"What brings you by," Alastair asks, coming up to me. He turns me toward him, holding me in his arms.

My eyes close instantly. His hands rub my shoulder and back, one hand sinking into my hair. He massages me idly listening to Liam's woes.

"I think I love her,"

Alastair just chuckles. My body is jello. I melt into him. His touch isn't sexual, it's loving, relaxing.

"And what do you want me to do about that, Liam?" He murmured. My face presses into his neck. He massages my scalp.

Liam frowns. Pauses for a moment. "I don't know. Tell me what to do. I want her to love me back."

Alastair stops his movements. I frown, nuzzling my face into him.

He continues. "A woman's love is a dangerous thing, Liam. It's not just dangerous. It's sacred. You must earn it."

Liam floats toward us. "How?"

Alastair sighs, his works his hands down my back gently. I love him. I never want him to stop holding me.

"To earn a woman's love, you must be worthy of it. Gentle. Respectful. Respectable. A man of character."

Alastair let's me go, kissing my head.

"Women typically prefer men to be leaders. To have good qualities. To be capable, and dependable. Strong, and available."

I lean my head against his shoulder. He's giving such good advice. If I weren't so relaxed I'd give him a blowjob.

"Even the strongest women need rest. Show that you can be that person. Show that you can lead when they want to rest. Show you can lift them up. That you're responsible and trust worthy."

Liam blinks. "How?"

Alastair teaches him carefully. I listen. I realize he's done this to me. It's why I love him. I smile. Even if he's a bit depraved he really is reliable.

He tells Liam to make good decisions in his own life. Be stable. Notice her needs and tend to them without asking for reward or praise.

"If she's the right woman, she will notice you are a man of virtue. And if you're compatible, she will love you." He shrugs. "It can take time, but it's worth it."

Alastair looks down at me gently.

"However, it can be dangerous to be in love. When you love a woman...there is nothing you won't do." Alastair puts his hand on Liam's shoulder.

"Do you understand now?"

Liam blinks. "Uh...no."

Alastair rolls his eyes. "Well I can't raise you anymore than I have, Liam. Be a good person. Or...a good person to her, and shitty to everyone else, understood?"

And then Alastair is done taking to Liam and his attention is on me again. He whispers in my ear that I look beautiful and is my hair different?

It's not, but I can't help but blush anyway. He gives me a wink and a kiss on the forehead. Hm...he lavished me with affection, and it's so off handed.

Unintentional. As if it's just apart of his day. I guess it is.

I pull him into the study, and fall to my knees. He's looking at me with those soft eyes. He stroked my cheek gently, his jacket falling off his shoulder.

He cups my face gently, pressing a kiss to my lips.

"It always hurts your jaw. Why do you keep trying?" He asks with a soft grin. He reached behind him.

"By the way,"

I unbuckle his pants. Damned if I lose. He takes my hand. I'm concentrating, looking at my task. It's going to hurt, but I must persevere.

His hand comes down on my head heavy. He pulls my hair gently, forcing me to catch his eyes.

He smiles sweetly at me. "Don't hurt yourself, my dearest Eleanor."

I frown, but wrap my lips around his tip, determined.

"That's my good girl," he praises me lowly. He pulls my hair out of my face. He lets me go at my own pace, raising his brows at me in quiet amusement.

He's so cocky. He enjoys watching me struggle over his dick cocky little shit that he is.

I glare at him.

"Don't be cross with me, dear I told you you didn't have to do it," he chuckles.

He grabs my jaw, forcing me up. "Who turned you?"

I frown. Is he really talking about this now? He lifts me up from my knees, hands on my waist.

"I know have not discussed it in length. But there are only five of our kind to my knowledge. I felt him here. Was it him?"

I look away. The intensity with which he speaks about that creature. Doesn't bode well.

"It had to have been Samuel," he narrows his eyes. "Did you know Eleanor?"

I cock my head, waiting.

"Whatever Vampire turns you...can control you." He stares intensely at me. "Samuel didn't turn you to be kind, or to fulfill your request with a good heart. He did it, to have one more thing to have over me."

He frowns, looking away. "Something is in the wind."

I shiver.

"Something is brewing," he murmurs, holding me closer.
