"that girl was quite rude" I muttered to myself. I honestly didnt know what I was doing. I was simply walking around the school aimlessly. Suzuki was no help even though she is the ultimate matchmaker. I tugged at my hair again. Maybe i should just confess. That would be the easiest option. My ears perked

RUNNING

I started speed walking, "hello! no running in the halls!" I yelled. I walked around the corner and found a girl. She was running around, "HEY!" I yelled. She froze and turned around, "oh heyyyy" she laughed nervously. She had dark green curly hair tied up into a bun. She wore a white t-shirt with a brown vest over it. She had some shorts and she wore some running shoes. she was also black. "I wonder what she's doing in Japan if she's black?" I thought to myself.

"hellooo" The green haired girl said as she waved her hand in front of my face. "oh sorry!" I bowed quickly. She laughed a little and bowed also, "sorry!" She rubbed the back of her neck. She looked very energetic, in fact she was jumping in place. "just wanted to say that you should not run in the halls" I wagged my finger at her. She sighed, "I know, I know. I just needed to burn off some energy!" She grinned. I nodded, "it is good to work out but do it someplace else. Not at school" I lectured. She groaned, "finee"

"anyways im Maki Ishida!" She grinned. I held out my hand and she shook it vigorously. "im Kiyotaka Ishimaru. the ultimate moral compass" I said. "im the ultimate explorer!" I could sense a hint of boasting there. "a fine talent" I said nodding. "right?! once I was in quicksand. waist deep. When I called my pet vulture and he helped me out of there!" She bragged.

"I see" I nodded slowly. She jumped, "it was awesome!" she nodded quickly. "well I got to go. Gotta go see my friend" I laughed nervously. she shrugged, "kay. bye Ishimaru!" she ran off.

"DONT RUN IN THE HALLS!" I yelled

I sighed and headed over to the dorms. I hope Mondo was there. I need to confess. I walked over there. In total 2 people ran in the halls today. thats 4 less than usual! I continued walking to the dorms. I crossed my arms as I walked. I passed by Byakuya and I waved. He gave an awkward wave back. Strange. usually he just ignores me. Guess he's in a good mood.

I yawned a bit. I spent all night doing homework. Have to get those grades up somehow. Mondo however doesnt have that good grades. He has an F in science. as for me I have all A's. Though its a price to pay to have good grades. The price is sleep. I bumped into someone, "oh sor-" I looked up and saw Mondo. "oh hey man" Mondo said backing away so we could have some space between us.

"your hair" I pointed out. He looked up and laughed, "Hiro used up all the hairspray" He explained. "w-well you look ho-good!" I corrected myself. He raised an eyebrow. he was dumb but not THAT dumb. "I was just heading to the store to get some. wanna come?" He asked me. "this is my chance to confess!" I thought excitedly to myself. "hm sure. are we walking?" I asked.

"how do you feel on motorcycles?"

"well thats how were going" Mondo said taking my hand and dragging me outside. I blushed a little from the sudden contact. "we better wear a helmet" I lectured him as we went outside. there was a motorcycle on some rack thingy. most likely his. "we will wear a helmet" Mondo said. I exhaled and he got the motorcycle out. "is this safe?" I asked nervously. "of course its safe" He said holding a helmet. he handed me one and I put it on. He sat on the motorcycle with some room for me in the back. "okayyy" I said suspiciously and I sat down behind him.

He turned on the engine and it made some roaring sound. "is that normal?" I asked. "yeah its normal bro" Mondo nodded. He started driving and went on the road. I was quite panicky since he went above the speed limit. "dont go above the speed limit!" I yelled over the wind. "oh come on!" He yelled also over the wind. "yes!" I yelled. I think he sighed and he slowed down a little. "thank you!" I yelled. he continued driving and whenever he went a bit over the speed limit I would scold him.

I wrapped my hands around his waist since I didn't want to fall off. kinda scary to be on a motorcycle. I never went on one before and it seemed Mondo knew that because he obeyed the speed limit! for once.

a few minutes went by and he stopped in front of a store. "okay lets go in" I said taking off the helmet. he also did and put it by the motorcycle. I did also and we walked in the store. Some tan guy with brown hair was manning the cashier. I waved politely and he did also. Mondo went over to the hairspray section while I stood there by the counter. "so...nice day" I said. "I think its gonna rain soon" the cashier said. "didnt it rain yesterday?" I asked. He shrugged, "yeah but still" I sighed and continued making small talk. He wasn't so bad. I could hear the rain outside but I wasn't bothered. rain was just helping us during the water cycle.

mondo came back with 4 cans of hairspray. "thats gonna harm the environment" I chided. "it'll be fine" Mondo said giving the cans to the cashier. the cashier scanned them and said "your total is 2076.46 yen sir" the cashier said politely. Mondo gave the cashier the money and he bagged the cans. he gave the bag and Mondo took it, "have a nice day!" I waved as we walked out the door. oh wow it was raining pretty hard.

"damn it, the rain is getting my hair wet" Mondo grumbled. I looked over and laughed a little, "i think it looks quite cute" I said simply. he turned a little red, "w-WHAT-" he almost yelled. "you okay?" I asked. he nodded quickly. "yep-yep sureee" he said very quickly. I facepalmed, "well okay then bro" I said.

"anyways Mondo can I ask you something" I said hesitantly. "hm? yeah sure" he nodded.

"...whats our relationship?" I asked quickly. he paused for a moment, "I dont exactly know" he said. "w-well we kissed like 3 times soooo wouldn't that mean we like each other?" I asked. I could feel my face turning red. he didnt really answer. "I-I mean you did say you loved me at Byakuya's sleepover unless you were lying but thats totally fi-" Mondo grabbed me by the shirt and kissed me.

I kissed back and as we were kissing in the rain I felt like we were the only people in the world
