《~danganronpa chatfic~》chapter 7

its been around 30 minutes since any of us talked. mostly because he told me to stop asking question or he'll sue me. since i don't want to go bankrupt i stayed quiet. suddenly i heard thunder from outside. i flinched and looked out a nearby window. it was dark and lots of clouds and it was raining. "oh my god anything but thunderstorms" i thought to myself turning pale. i saw togami glance at me and i looked away. i heard him scoff, "don't tell me your afraid of silly thunderstorms?" he asked. I flinched, "no i'm not" i muttered. "mhmm" he said doubtfully. it was getting cold and I shivered a little. "there's some blankets in the closet over there" he said waving his hand at some door. I nodded and said thanks and went to get the blankets.
I got 3 fluffy blankets and sat back down in the armchair. the 2 armchairs were a fairly close now that I realized it. I shrugged and started wrapping myself in all the blankets. I glanced at togami and realized I didn't offer him one. "you need one?" I offered. he shook his head, "i'm fine" he muttered. thunder boomed again outside and I jumped a bit.
"yeah this boy is definitely scared" I thought to myself. every time thunder boomed or lightning flashed he would flinch or jump. "yeah I cant take it anymore" I said annoyed. "huh?" he asked confused. "you are obviously scared so just hide in the blankets if you want" I said. he nodded and just covered himself in blankets until only his ahoge was sticking out. I rolled my eyes and continued reading. now the storm was getting worse, there were much louder booms and some wind. "wasn't it sunny?!" I heard naegi say from inside the blankets. "weather is a strange thing" I muttered flipping a page of my book.

BOOM
BOOM
BOOM
"I hate this.." I heard him mutter under the blankets. "its just loud noises" I said. "yeah loud noises out of nowhere" he said. lightning flashed and thunder boomed. "hey you guys?" someone said. i looked up and saw Leon there. "what?" I asked. "can you come back down? genocider Jill is threatening people" he said pointing.
I sighed and stood up along with eggi. "she also wants to see you" he said. "i already hate this" i muttered walking out of the door. i walked into the room where everyone else was and saw Jill. "what do you want?" I asked annoyed. "HELLOOOOO MY WHITE KNIGHT!!!" I heard jill said holding her scissors. "she kept asking for you" Hina said sighing. "why though" naegi asked. "because its Jill" Hina scoffed. BOOM more thunder. "OHHH I LOVEEEE THUNDERSTORMS!" Jill cried twirling her scissors around. "I think their annoying and loud" Naegi muttered. "well shut it eggi! no one asked!" Jill said. "why does everyone call me eggi?" he said confused. "well naEGGI" I said simply. "oh" he mumbled. "pretty much" Mondo said shrugging. "did you know people call you butter boy behind your back?" I said. "they call me WHAT?" he said a little angry. I shrugged and he looked more annoyed then me around Toko. "well what now?" Hiro asked. "lets play more truth or dare!" Sayaka said jumping. "nah we already played that lets play something else" Leon said waving his hand. "and what idea do YOU have Leon?" Sayaka said annoyed. "clearly she's still peeved about him killing her" I thought to myself. "maybe we can play would you rather" he glared. "ohh yeah lets play that!" Hina said smiling. Sayaka rolled her eyes and nodded.
"I'LL START!" Jill said. I rolled my eyes. we all were sitting down in a circle. I was next to Makoto and Jill which I did not like. "Would you rather control fire or water?" she asked. "water seems cool!" naegi said. "yes i agree!" Taka added. "fire seems awesome though!" Yasuhiro said. "you can burn someone alive!" he said. "ahem" Celeste said glaring. "oh right.." Yasuhiro said looking away. "oh come on! fire is awesome!" Mondo said. "but fire is dangerous" taka said. I rolled my eyes, "when has danger ever stopped mondo?" I scoffed. "thats true though" Mondo said pointing at me. "i-i like fire" Chihiro said. "really? you dont seem the type to like fire" Mondo said. "i like water" Celeste said crossing her arms. everyone answered and most people choose water. "would you rather lose your sense of taste? or sense of smell" Hina asked. "taste" I said. "why taste? why not smell?" Chihiro asked. I sighed, "if you lose your sense of smell you'll also lose your sense of taste" I said annoyed. "wait really?" Naegi asked. "just go eat something and plug your nose while doing so" I said.

hina held up a donut and plugged her nose while eating it. "he's right i cant taste this delicious donut!" she cried. "obviously im right. you peasants didnt know?" i asked. everyone shook their head and i rolled my eyes. "would you rather only be able to whisper or shout" Mondo said. most people said whisper but mondo, hiro and leon said shout. "would you rather lose the ability to read or speak?" Chihiro asked. a lot of people said read which i was annoyed about. but me, jill, hifumi and chihiro said speak. "i barely want to talk with you peasants anyways" I scoffed. "you do read a lot" Sayaka said. "yeah dont you do anything else?" Leon asked. I paused, "next question" I said. "would you rather be forced to dance whenever you hear music? or forced to sing every time you hear a song" Naegi said. "oh! sing!" Sayaka said. "not a surprise" I thought to myself. "yeah sing" Hina said smiling. most people said dance though since some are horrible singers. I should know, they had karaoke night once.
"would you rather shout forever or whisper forever" Hina asked. most people said whisper while hiro, leon and mondo said yell. "what if you guys are at a loud place?" Mondo asked. "i wouldnt be caught dead at a big social event" I said. "thats true" Naegi said. "unless someone made him" Sayaka said. "maybe blackmail" Naegi shrugged. "literally no one has dirt on him" Hiro sighed. "stop talking about blackmailing me in front of me" I said rolling my eyes. we all continued playing most of the time of it being 50/50. soon we played for a bit and taka stood up. "we all should go to sleep! its late" He said. "you guys do what you want im going to the library" I said standing up. "again? come on why dont you hang out with us?" Hiro asked. "no" I said leaving the room. I headed up the marble stairs and walked into the library. i sat down in an armchair and picked up a book.
it's calming be alone you know. no crazy kids, no loud noises. its just me and books. wow i sound like an adult. that's sad. I started reading listening to the crackle of the fire and the rain.

Dreams or Another World - Not a Zero (Update 09/19/21)
(Updated 09/19/21) Hello and welcome. If you made it this far and the book title sounds interesting, I'm hoping you'll read a few chapters. Here's a sample from chapter 1 of "Dreams or Another World - Not a Zero."Slowly starting to wake up, I become aware. It's like coming out of a fog.Head hurts.Body hurts. There's a conversation in the room. This isn't my bed. Someone is touching my arm. I crack my eyes to look. She doesn't notice. Is she praying for me? Her hands do feel good…do feel... Slipping back unconscious, my eyes slowly close. I didn't notice the soft green glow under Jenn’s hands.*******************"It does look like he saved them or at least stalled them long enough for us to get there." says the man dressed more like a park ranger than an officer of the law. "I did think he was part of it at first" he continues "but the evidence shows he wasn't there and they were certainly fighting on that back road where we found them""I don't care who he is." says a woman as she enters the room. "He saved and protected my Jenn. I will make sure there's not a mark or a scar on him before he leaves". As she continues the few steps over to the men speaking, even though dressed simply in common clothes, there is no doubt the race of elves is in her heritage. The grace and lines of her form. The elegance and lightness of her step. She glances at her daughter, still watching over the young man in the bed. "Do we know who he is yet?" she asks no one in particular."Not yet dear" a man in a white coat responds. A handsome middle-aged man. Fit, but not that of a fighter or ranger. "I asked Talon to bring another identification stone with him. I was hoping ours was just broke, but it's reading the same.""What do you think is wrong?" Talon asks."I'm thinking we just have to wait until he recovers. I have heard of cases where the stone didn't work. Powerful spells can hide or wipe a person clean. I doubt he's a spy or a criminal. Spells like that are just too high level if, they're used at all. My best guess is, there is just some disconnect with him being unconscious. When he wakes, we can ask him or use the stone again then."I find myself waking up in a hospital bed. The attending Doctor finds it odd that he cannot identify my class. An Officer says I’m a Hero for saving a girl from being kidnapped, but he’s asking too many questions for my liking. I know an accusing tone when I hear it. I don’t remember any of it and I need to find my way home.Author’s notes. Original work. First draft and update of chapters 1-16. Inspired by various fantasy games and books. Written with a focus on character development and interaction. Combat, progression, leveling, classes, but no numbers or stats. I’ll try to keep the language clean, PG-13, no smut. I’m in the US, writing in English. Almost fifty chapters are completed as I pen this introduction. I intend to complete this story or at least bring it to a proper ending. I have a destination in mind. I find as I write, doors and ideas open, while others close and are discarded. The tentative release schedule will be once a week. I'm new to creating. My apologies now while I learn. I have not settled on a book cover or artwork, still looking for something that fits. Registered & Protected #20VjeKDv2U6nynW6

Eve's Guide to Ghost Removal

She’s had enough of that already, thank you very much, and now that she’s on her own in a new town, all she wants is to be left alone. The Czarina's Buccaneer
RELEASES EVERY MONDAY AT 18:30 CST ----- After suffering the torments of slavery, the destruction of his nation, and the massacre of his band of brothers, Rodion Kazansky craves revenge and yearns for the freedom owed to him as a proud Cossack. A lost horse and a chance meeting with the Catherine the Great set him off on a journey that will take him from the steppes of the Crimea to the beaches of the Gold Coast of Africa and back again. There he will face British slavers, pirates, and the ghosts of his past to become the bane of his enemies as the Czarina's Buccaneer. ----- DISCLAIMER: This novel acknowledges the fact that the Cossacks, and the Ukrainian people by extension, are unique and not simply a "different variety of Russians." The main character views the Russians as "moskal foreigners" and does not see himself as one. This also acknowledges the fact that the czarina deprived many of the Cossacks of their freedom, something that the main character resents.
