《Sinfully Imperfect》2. Loud Bhessy & Tangy Amigos

Using my dorm keys, I opened the door. Ethel helped me with my luggage. The piece was modest but standard, according to my taste. There were two midsize beds on opposite sides. On the right, there was a wooden closet. There was a white study table in the center, with white wooden chairs. On the left side of the room, there was a door, which, I presume, was a bathroom. In short, it was clean and properly furnished.
What drew my eyes were the carefully stacked books on the table and someone's possessions. "Seems like your roomie is already here. Cool! " Ethel voiced my thoughts. Then something struck me.
"Mr. Ethel freaking Jasper, have you just called me an exaggerator?" I asked with my arms crossed and an eyebrow raised.
"Fuck, you are!"
My moron brother is a pain in the ass!
"Don't forget, my dear brother, I helped you today," I told him by striking his arm.
"Oh, seriously? How? By telling my mum that I'm gonna gift dates to a girl? Who the fuck gives dates to girls? " He crossed his arms.
"Brother, you're supposed to be grateful to me and you're fighting with me? What would you like me to say to Mommy? Like-'hi mum! Your son, who you think is the embodiment of innocence, is in reality the embodiment of sin. He goes out with three girls at once; breaks up with the fourth; drops the fifth; kisses the sixth; and sleeps with the seventh! So, if you dream of having one and only daughter-in-law, then please let it go because it's not going to happen any time soon! ' And then mom's going to be like—'Oh sweetie! You've given me the good news of the world. I'd secured him in my womb for nine months to listen to this stuff. He is unquestionably on his way to becoming New York's biggest playboy. ' So, dear brother, if you want me to tell our sweet-caring mother about your inspiring story, no problem! Right now, her number is the first one on my contact list. " I said this while flipping through my phone's tab.
He let out a long sigh. "Why getting angry, dear sister? Come on, let's assist you with your unpacking." His voice was laced with phoney sweetness, which made me chuckle.

Oh, brother, how I adore you!
If you, brother or sister, are done, please give me a way. " Both of us were taken aback by the sound of a third person. A girl with a black hoodie and black torn jeans stood to our right.
Wow, how could I have been so rash?
I had forgotten about my roommate while teasing Ethel.
Path to go, Soph!
"I'm sorry, we didn't see you." Ethel's voice alerted me to the fact that we were fighting by the entrance.
I immediately gathered myself and motioned for her to proceed. "Hello, my name is Sophronia Jasper, and he's my brother, Ethel Jasper. Sorry for our that behavior."
Shaking her head, she chuckled, "No worries at all! To tell you the truth, you both looked really adorable while fighting. Moreover, it's not every day that I get to see such amusing bro-sis wars. "
"I'm Ivy Morris, by the way. Regardless of how much I'd like to sit with you, I'm waiting for a friend to show up. Soph and Ethel, I'll see you later. " She added. Ethel and I exchanged glances before resuming our task.
Strange young lady!
Ah, at long last! I was nearly done with my unpacking and organizing duties after working for four hours straight.
Who says unpacking is simple?
I was exhausted to the point of suffocation. Ivy hadn't returned till then. After a half-hour stay, Ethel left as well. I was all by myself then. It was 5 p.m.
Taking a quick nap isn't such a bad idea, is it?!!
I lay in bed, eyes closed, waiting for Ms. Sleep to visit me.
I was sleeping peacefully, but my stupid ears had to show their over-smartness. Someone called out to me, or worse, someone woke me up.
Who in their right mind wants to die at my hands?
'Shut up, let me sleep! ' I tried to scream, but it came out as a whisper, "Shunt ump. Len me sheep. "
"As I'm heading to the cafeteria, do you want something?" A voice asked me.
I groaned, trying desperately not to lash out at whoever had wanted to detach me from Ms. Sleep, my bestie. When I turned to face the intruder, I saw a redhead with light brown eyes looking intently at me. I crawled out of bed, stretching my body after blinking my eyes to clear my vision. I yawned and buried my head in my pillow. I heard giggles from Ivy.

Huh, it's time to get out of bed!
It was almost 6 p.m., and my body was in desperate need of a good cup of coffee. Coffee it was!
"Sure, I'll go. Wait, let me change." I got a thumbs up from her. I changed instantly into a light pink sweatshirt and blue faded jeans. I put on cozy sneakers after messing up my hair in a bun. "I'm done. Let's get going! "
"Wow, that was fast!" Her retort made me grin.
Chilly winds hit my face as soon as we exited the wing. It wasn't too hot or too cold outside. There were some students on campus, but it wasn't completely deserted.
"So, your brother left?"
I smiled as I faced Ivy. "He left after half an hour." She gave a slight nod of approval.
"How long have you been here?" I inquired, hoping to strike up a conversation with her.
"Well, I think it's been a week." I concurred with the hum.
"How long is the café area?" I was completely lost as to where we were going. I was just chasing her around like a lost child.
"Here we are!" she exclaimed with a grin. I took a look around and realized we'd arrived. I made a mental note to go on a campus tour.
The cafeteria was spacious and bustling. The gleaming white tables were properly spaced and organized. People were seated in clusters and seemed to be having a good time. I went straight to the coffee area, while she went straight to the food section.
I felt a presence behind me, making me turn away. I saw a middle-aged man, probably in his forties, smiling at me. I gave him a shy grin in return, which made him chuckle.
Do I look funny while I'm smiling?!!
"I'm sorry, dear; I didn't mean to scare you." Ah-Oh!
"It's not a problem; I'm perfect."
"I'm guessing you're a freshman here." He said this as he moved behind the counter.
"Hmm, I'm new here," I responded, nodding.
"I see!" he said with a genuine smile. "Myself, Benjamin Cyrus. What would you like to get? "
"One black coffee, please, Mr. Cyrus."
"Call me Ben, and here's your coffee, Ms.," he said as he handed me my coffee. "Sophronia Jasper, but call me Soph. Thanks for the coffee, Ben. "
"Anytime, Soph!" I picked up my coffee and spotted Ivy at the food counter.
Upon reaching there, Ivy dragged me towards a table. I saw three people sitting there. "Hey guys!" She greeted them as we sat on the two left chairs. They replied, but their gaze was fixed on me.
"Meet Soph, short for Sophronia Jasper, my one and only roommate." She introduced me with glee, as if I were a newly released game rather than a woman.
"Hello!" I gave a polite smile.
"They're my friends, Soph. She's Sapphire James. " She motioned to a curly dark-brown-haired girl to her left, who had sapphire-blue eyes.
Her name is perfect for her.
She happily returned my gesture. "This is Felix Warden." She gestured to a dark-haired man with light green eyes. He grinned, revealing a dimple on his left cheek.
He's so adorable!
I wished Ethel had dimples as well. I'd love to pull his cheeks every time. "And last but certainly not least, meet Damien Santiago, the happiest member of our gang. " I looked to my left this time and saw a blue-haired boy with a textured crop and thick fringes. With his black eyes gleaming brilliantly, he gave me his million-dollar smile.
We chatted for a bit after our introductions. I learned a great deal about them, including the fact that Damien was gay. His positive demeanor drew me in. Moreover, Sapphire and Damien were sophomores. They were all pleasant people to be around.
These four years aren't going to be that bad, are they? Time will tell, Soph. Time will tell!

Dungeon Scholar
Girl meets dungeon. What could go right? A story of a good-hearted Scholar driven by her compassion and curiosity. She might be a little combat averse, but um, isn't that only logical? Love me a good grimdark, but sometimes I want to read feel-good fiction that isn't pure action, romance, or comedy. The plot and characters of Dungeon Scholar won't be all happy and fluffy, and the world will be more dungeons and monsters than rainbows and puppies, but overall the sweet moments should overshadow the bitter. Let's say three dollops of sugar for every pinch of salt, with lemon slices left on the saucers? Enjoy. Note: This is NOT a typical dungeon story. If you are here for the dungeon aspect, then fair warning this will seem incredibly slow-burn to you. The dungeon will eventually become the most important 'character,' arguably, or the second-most important narratively, but you might jump out the window in frustration long before that happens. At its heart, the story's core remains 'girl meets dungeon,' not 'dungeon meets world.' (To be clear, this does or will have a plot! It's just the more conventional story-like elements contribute to Rowena Loress's greater story, not the other way around; no conflict takes center stage until it becomes personally significant to her. Meanwhile, have some Slice of Life.) Updates every Friday Cover made using Waifulabs Written using 4thewords (referral code: UZJRY55368)
