Standing in the corner at Jamie's get together I just look around. I really didn't want to be here but she begged me and told my parents that we were going to be studying for an upcoming exam and of course they believed her.
"Girl why you standing over here in the corner by yourself". Jamie said walking over to me and standing beside me.
"You know this not my type of thing Jamie". I said rolling my eyes looking over at her.
"You're always cooped up in that house and you never get out I just wanted you to have some fun". She said trying to make me feel guilty about being mad at her.
"Don't do that Jamie it's just this isn't my type of crowd". I said pushing up from the wall and stepping back into somebody.
"Yo bitch watch where the fuck you going". I heard a voice say and Jamie's eyes got wide.
"Ace Chill she didn't mean to right Jennifer". She said pulling me towards her as I turned around to look at the person the voice belonged to.
" right but even if I did that's no way to talk to a female". I said looking him over and he looked good but his attitude was terrible.
"Yo Jamie get your bitch before she be somewhere dead". He said causing my eyes to go wide.
"Excuse me". I ask holding my chest and I feel myself being pulled away.
"Girl are you crazy talking to that man like that". Jamie asked as we stopped in the kitchen.
"Are you crazy he's disrespectful and I don't like that shit". I said folding my arms as I rolled my eyes.
"And what was you gone do about it". I heard the same voice say causing me to turn around.

"I was going to slap your disrespectful ass". I said walking up on him getting in his face.
Before I could even register what was happening he had my hair in his hands while he bent me over the counter as people watched.
"This what you want huh ma". He asked and I didn't say anything causing him to pull my hair harder.
"Okay see now you got me fucked up grabbing on my best friend hair and shit". I heard Jamie say as she tried to get him to let go of my hair but he pushed her back sending her flying into a few people.
"Don't push my best friend like that". I said trying to sit up when he grabbed me by my waist holding me in place.
"Stop fucking moving and let me tell you something watch your mouth the next time you say some shit I'm gone slap yo ass". He said releasing my hair and backing up before walking away.
"You okay Jenn". Jamie asked helping me straighten my hair.
"Yea thanks for trying to help but I think I'm going to go home". I said looking down embarrassed as people looked at me.
"WHAT THE HELL YALL LOOKING AT". She yelled causing them to look somewhere else.
"Do you want me to walk you home". She asked and I shook my head.
"No, I'm fine thanks though I'll call you tomorrow". I said hugging her and walking out.
Walking down the road I pull out my phone to look at the time. Halfway through my walk, I hear somebody behind me making me speed up. As I was about to break into a run I just barely got started when I was snatched back.
"Give me your phone". I heard ace say as I sighed.

"If I give it to you will you leave me alone". I ask looking up at him.
"Yea I will". He said and I grab my phone and watch him put his number in it.
"Now can I go home". I ask and he nods his head.
"Yea but I'm gone walk you". He said and we started walking.
Finally making it in front of my house we stop and I look over at him.
"Thanks for walking me". I said and he grabbed my neck kissing my lips causing me to pull back and look at him crazily.
"Umm no sir". I said shaking my head with my eyebrows frowned.
"I'll get at you". He said walking off as I walked up the steps into the house.
What a long night...

This is the tale of Jordan. A socially awkward high school teenage boy. Sometimes life is unfair, and this is one of those times. Jordan didn't quite anticipate that not doing homework would end up with him being dead. This is my first novel. Please don't hold me at gunpoint... actually, please do. Just take a few steps back so I can see the face of the person that brought my demise upon this earth.
