"Lacey." A voice startles me. My eyes shoot open and I see a ruffled looking Callie standing over me.
"Morning Cal." I say rubbing the sleep dust from my eyes. She grins and nods besides me. A smile makes it's way onto my face the events that went down last night surfacing my mind.
Seth's arm is slung around my waist, his face soft and boyish as his even breathing tickles the side of my neck. His shirt has made it's way off during the night like it normally does.
"Come. I need the details." Callie says adjusting the duvet she has wrapped around her. I nod and pull myself from Seth's arms. She grins as I follow her in a trot towards our bedroom. She pushes the door open and I push it shut behind me.
Callie get's into the empty bed and I follow suit, cuddling up to her to ignore the cold morning air that nips at my ankles.
"Spill." She says looking at me her eyes big with excitement.
"Well a while ago Seth and I kissed, and then from there it kept happening on small occasions. And we decided to be sort of like friends with benefits you know? But we hadn't slept with each other. And then on prom. We left to go get dairy queen and it was raining and we jumped in the rain and oh my god it was so good. Then we went back to his house and we were just chilling and then one thing led to another you know." I start rambling.
"You slept together?" She asks grinning excitedly. I nod a grin on my face.
"Yes. And I think we both realised that we had a bit more than friends with benefits chemistry. Or at least I did and he said he understood the feeling. So we decided to try talk to Bea so we could just date you know? Like be able to go on dates together and stuff but without the real commitment. So we actually convinced Bea which she was kind of skeptical but she agreed. Which actually blew my mind. Then we graduated and we came here. Now yesterday, Seth got pissed because we played volleyball with Tommy and Carlos right." I explain and she nods carefully following along.
"Well then I was confused why he was mad at me and he thought I was trying to dangle them infront of him, then I got upset that he thought so little of me. That was why I was rather upset. And anyway last night I couldn't sleep so I went to go have something to eat and Seth was making chocolate chip pancakes. And then he apologised and told me why he said what he said and then." I say pausing. Callie grins and waits for me to continue.
"I told him I was very much in love with him. Which I didn't really even like know like I think I knew but I didn't. And then he said it back!" I say grinning.
"Oh my god finally. And then I came in right?" Callie asks. I nod grinning.
"And then we went to bed." I say grinning to myself.
"You two are so in love with each other I literally can't believe it took you this fucking long to figure it out." Callie says shaking her head.
Suddenly there's a light knock at the door, I spin my head around to see a tired, concerned looking Seth poke his head around. I grin and open my arms for a hug. He grins and flops onto me.

"Good morning." He says wrapping his arms around my waist and resting his head against my chest.
"Good morning." I say playing with his hair, grinning down at him.
"Callie you stole my girlfriend away from me." Seth says with a pout, his eyes tired and sleepy half closing.
"Sorry. I needed the details." Callie says with a not so sorry shrug.
"I thought she changed her mind and ran away." He says sleepily his eyes closed.
"I might if your not nice to me." I say jokingly. Seth grins before snuggling against me.
"Better not." He mutters.
"Where's Bea?" I ask Callie. She shrugs.
"I think she went with Cory and Carla to go get some drinks for tonight." Callie says skeptically.
"Oh right. I don't really want to drink this week I don't think." I think to myself out-loud.
"That's a new one princess." Seth mutters with a sleepy chuckle. I flick his earlobe with a chuckle.
"I didn't drink last night when everyone else was. Even though I was upset. That's character growth right there." I say 'matter of factly'.
"Don't remind me of you being upset please." Seth murmurs wincing.
My heart oh my god. He's so precious.
"Ok for someone who used to nearly get alcohol poisoning every time she drank I'd say that's pretty good." Callie says with a impressed nod. I screw up my nose at the reminder.
Being mentally unstable does that to you.
"I think so." I say with a chuckle.
"Ya'll make me feel so single." Callie says grinning at me with a knowing smile.
"How are things with Oscar?" I ask her curiously. She pulls a face before sighing.
"Nah it was kind of like we both thought we maybe liked each other but in the end it wasn't really right you know?" Callie explains pulling the duvet up to her chin snuggling down.
"Yeah I get that." I say with a small nod, running my hand through Seth's hair. My legs are starting to tingle with pins and needles but I don't really care.
"We should take some photos today." Callie suggest pulling open her pinterest board on her phone.
"Ooh yess we should!" I exclaim excitedly. Callie shuffles closer as she scrolls through ideas.
"We should do those ones." I say pointing to some of them.
"Yes I love these. I brought my camera as well so we can take proper ones." She says with an excited grin.
"I brought bikini." I say with an excited grin.
"Oh my gosh you have to wear that one today." Callie says with a grin.
"I will." I say nodding as Seth yawns and slides off me so that he's behind me. He slides his arms back around my waist and his head rests on the pillow.
"I want to see that bikini." He mutters.
"Maybe you will." I say with a small smile to Callie who winks at me.
Callie and I scroll through pinterest looking at pictures and coming up with photo ideas. The door is pushed open and in walks Luke carrying a half eaten green apple.
"Hey guys." He says his mouth full as he flops onto a half sleeping Seth.
"Luke." Seth groans smacking him on the back opening his eyes.
"You looked very comfortable there." Luke says with a chuckle not removing himself from Seth.
"I was." Seth says attempting to shrug him off.

"Luke you owe me one hundred dollars." Callie says grinning. Luke's eyebrows draw up in confusion before his mouth drops open in shock. He looks between Seth and I and then back to Callie.
"No shit really?" Luke says jumping up off Seth. Seth rolls back over towards me and pulls me closer to him.
"Oh my god finally? Seth mate we're going to go have a talk about this. Are you two together finally holy shit?" Luke asks excitedly. I raise my eyebrows at his energetic response. Seth grins up at Luke.
"I need an answer." He says stressfully.
"No actually Lacey left me alone in bed this morning to talk to Callie. I think we see who the favourite is here." Seth says pouting at me.
"Shut up." I say grinning and smacking his arm. "Yes Luke. I said yes to being this dumbasses girlfriend." I say unable to hide the smile that came on my face as I said those words.
"Took you two long enough oh my god. You have no idea how many debates I had with Bea about letting you two be together." Luke exclaims taking a large bite out of his apple.
"My wing woman right here." Seth says dapping Luke up.
"I'm not a woman asshole." Luke says grinning non the less.
"Okay well I actually came to ask Lacey where Seth was. The boys wanted to know if there were any pancakes left?" Luke asks.
"There's none cooked. I made the batter last night and got a bit distracted but there's batter there you guys should be able to cook it." Seth says with a dismissive wave. Luke raises his eyebrows.
"You have met your friends aye?" Luke asks. Seth groans his head dropping down onto the pillow in annoyance.
"C'mon. Let's go cook these meatheads some pancakes." Seth says standing up and offering his hand to me. I take it and stand up. I nod to Callie and she jumps up, taking the duvet with her.
She offers it out to me and I wrap myself up with her. We waddle behind the boys to the kitchen. The boys are all huddled around the pancake batter bowl, dipping there fingers in eating the batter.
"Ya'll are useless." Seth says surveying the sight. There's a few girls sitting on the island barstools. The rest of the girls are still sleeping or on the beach already. Callie and I slip onto two stools the duvet still wrapped around us.
Seth ushers the boys out of the way and chuckles. He grabs a frying pan from the draw and starts cooking.
I check him out shamelessly, his shorts hung on his hips, his toned back moving as he puts some butter in the pan.
"Seth are there going to be any spare pancakes left for us?" One of the girls ask, her names Olivia, she was on the cheer team in sophomore year but quit due to injuries. All the girls here I knew because we'd literally gone to school together for four years. But I wasn't super close with any of them. Only Callie and Bea.
"Uh yeah if you get in before these boys do." Seth says politely.
"Do you cook a lot Seth?" The other girl asks. Her names Maia, she and I were friends in elementary but drifted apart in middle school.
"Uhh yeah. Lace always makes me cook her breakfast." He says with a teasing chuckle in my direction.
"I do not. You offer." I say defensively. He throws me a cheeky smirk before flipping the current pancake in the pan.
"So where are you going to go to university?" Maia asks again, her head resting on her chin.
"Umm I'm thinking Louisiana at the moment." Seth says with a nod.
"Girl get your mans." Callie whispers to me. I shake my head.
"It's a polite conversation it's not like they are flirting with him." I reply to her quietly.
Callie just raises her eyebrows at me.
"We heard you got wait listed at harvard that's pretty impressive." Olivia says throwing her hair over her shoulder.
"Yeah it was surprising actually." Seth says chucking a pancake on a plate and offering it to me. I take it gratefully.
"Wait why does she get one first." One of the boys exclaims where they're all sitting on the couches, waiting for their breakfast to be cooked for them.
They are not going to survive college.
"Because Seth is whipped." Luke says with a chuckle throwing me a wink. I raise my eyebrows at Seth a smirk on his face.
"Did he lie?" Dallas comments with a small laugh.
I open my mouth to tease Seth.
"Father my kids." He says with a smirk before I can say anything, beating me to teasing him. Instantly my eyes roll into the back of my head.
"You need to let that go." I say shaking my head with a grin. I cut the pancake in half and slide the other half to Callie who takes it gratefully.
"I will never ever let it go." Seth says as I finish off the pancake and unwrapping myself from the duvet. Taking the now empty plate and rinsing it in the sink, before placing it in the dishwasher.
"Well in that case. I wanted to marry you dumbass, I want to marry you." I say a smirk on my face.
"I'm so fucking in love with you." Seth says raising his eyebrows at me in a challenge. Using my words against me.
"Luke help me out here." I say pleadingly to Luke who grins cheekily and pulls out his phone.
"No no outside help. Luke do not I swear to god. I will murder you." Seth says raising his eyebrows at Luke warningly. Luke grins and slides his phone back into his pocket.
"Ooh what's this. Dirt on Seth? Luke you better send whatever that was to me." I say warning him.
"Lacey I love you but I'm also Seth's wing woman." Luke says with an apologetic smile. I step towards the frying pan and flip the pancake for Seth who is adding more milk to the mixture.
"You Seth Nixon are so frustrating. I need to know about the video but Luke's whipped for you" I say shaking my head.
"Aww is someone Jealous?" Seth asks me wrapping his arms around me leaning over me as I stand at the frying pan, making sure the pancake doesn't burn.
"No." I say shaking my head. "I know I'm your favourite." I say with a smirk.
"You are not." Luke exclaims defensively. "I'm your favourite right?" Luke asks.
"Your both my favourites." Seth says with a chuckle.
"Wrong." I say in a game show host tone.
I tilt my head back to meet Seth's gaze, my head resting against Seth's chest.
"I haven't had my morning kiss this morning yet." Seth says a glisten in his eye. I roll my eyes and shake my head.
"I'm not your favourite so why don't you go get a kiss from Luke." I say dropping my head down.
"Wait so you two are together together?" Olivia asks from her seat. Seth turns around, unwrapping himself from me, I turn towards them.
"Yeah." Seth says with a grin. The boys instantly start chattering. Questions flying left right and center.
"Wait oh my god!" Dallas exclaims
"You know you don't have to help me make these right?" Seth murmurs as he takes the spatula from me. Planting a sneaky kiss onto my lips.
"I know." I say with a small nod smiling, swinging myself up onto the small part of the bench next to the stove.
"So tell us the story." Maia says her chin resting on her interlaced fingers.
"Well Seth pissed me off until I fell for him." I say jokingly.
"Hold on that's not the story." Seth says blinking twice with a chuckle.
"Lace actually pissed me off until I fell for her." He corrects with a grin.
"Oh shut up." I say with a roll of my eyes. I leaned against the wall behind me as Callie began telling the story on behalf of us. I closed my eyes and let out a deep sigh. A content sigh.
"Okay let's go get changed and go down to the beach. I want to take these photos." Callie says standing up from the stool and pulling me down from the bench.
"I want to see the bikini." Seth calls after us. I shake my head at him with a chuckle as I continue down the hallway. Callie and I change and I put deodorant on. I adjust the straps of the bikini.
"What should I do with my hair?" I ask her.
"Low messy bun." She suggests and I nod. I quickly do it and check myself in the mirror. I flinched at my reflection, my flaws jumping out at me today.
Perks of anxiety.
I grab a towel and Callie grabs her camera as we make our way back out into the kitchen to go down onto the bench. All the boys are scoffing down pancakes and Maia and Olivia are sharing one pancake. Seth's head snaps up from the couches as I walk in and his eyes widen.
"Woah." Seth says his eyes trailing down my body.
"Eyes up here princess." I say pointing to my eyes. He grins cheekily.
"Okay we're going down to the beach now, your welcome to join us but we're just going to take some photos." Callie says pulling my hand.
"I'm grabbing my sunnies then I'll come down." Seth says. Callie ushers me out of the house. We throw our towels down on the ground and find a good spot on the beach.
