Author's Note
Now that I've finally finished Part 3, I feel like I could sleep for a day straight. I might just do that, in fact. As soon as I post this. I don't have to go school, so why not? I'll start Part 4 when I wake up.
Anyway, I really hope everyone liked the third part of Dead in Bed. A lot happens in it, and it's the longest segment yet. Please follow me and vote if you like it! As always, you can message me with any questions. You can ask me anything except for what happens next! I can't give the ending away.
Some of you wrote asking about "Kyle." I guess I should stop using quotes and just get used to the pseudonym.
Honestly, things could be better with Kyle. I think I made a mistake.
I know I shouldn't be writing about this, even if I'm not using our real names. But I don't have anyone to tell, not even my best friend—for reasons which maybe I'll try to explain later, but not now.
But I don't think I can stand just keeping it all inside and not sharing it with anybody.
So, here's what happened.
My dad finally turned our internet back on. I told him I'm doing a school project. Luckily he let me write all weekend without saying anything. As long as he doesn't see what I'm actually writing, I think for now I'm okay. But Kyle didn't know this. He was being so sweet, he showed up again and parked across the street so I could use his iPad Wi-Fi. It was pretty late when I got his text, almost one in the morning.
But I wasn't asleep.
I'd been so irritated with my dad, and so sick of being stuck at home all day, and so bored, I kind of . . . climbed out my window to go say hi to Kyle.

My doctor would have killed me if he knew what I did, but I made it over the sill without hurting myself.
Kyle was really surprised to see me. Really surprised. He definitely didn't expect it. He was happy, I could tell, but he was worried I'd get in trouble too. We sat and listened to music for a while.
And then he kissed me.
We'd never, ever kissed before. I had so many butterflies in my stomach when he leaned over.

Emancipation - An Isekai Story
When they tell you 'a hero was summoned'. Do they expound on what it takes to truly be moved? Does it make sense to rip a hole within reality into another dimension, to a planet billions of galaxies away, and accurately transport a single person(s)? No, well truth be told, it takes a whole lot to summon anyone so far away, maybe it might take an attempt in summoning of a Dark God, to transport him. Then again they never tell you about what it means to travel between Dark Matter. Or what horrors exist there. Cover by Red Bluebery! I am a new writer, I am trying to find my style of writing. Unwitting Champion
"In stories this is always easy. There's magic and powers, and quick steps to claiming that power for one's self. This doesn't feel true for me. I'm supposed to be a Champion, whatever that means, and yet I don't feel important. I don't have all the bells and whistles, which honestly feels familiar even in a new world. But what was I expecting? I haven't had the worst life - there are people with worse problems than mine - I've known what it is to struggle, to be pulled down instead of being helped up.This is nothing new."When in great peril, the Kingdom of Althor has no choice but to send a call into the void, beseeching the Fates to bring them a man who would save them from the coming darkness. Unfortunately the path the Fates chart is often unknowable to men and the Champion who appears is not what the kingdom expected.Unwitting Champion is a story of a guy displaced, dealing first and foremost with trying to survive in a world where he is no longer a person but a tool, and - at least from the reaction of those around him - a shoddy one at that. His major goal is to survive long enough that either he can run or find a way home, because as exciting as the possibility of learning magic might be, he would rather have a boring life than a short life.

Plague Time
Plague Time is the new virus killing folks in America. Set in December 2023, Curt Joiner recounts how the Plague was created and, if that wasn't bad enough, now he and his bloodline are stalked by a demon. Well, she wasn't a demon at first; first she was a young girl on a plantaion during the civil war. In 1865, amid the chared ruins of Georgia, she made a deal to get her fancy dresses and sweets back. You know who she made the deal with. All she had to do was stalk the men of Curt's family and pick off one per generation. Plauge Time is when Curt's number comes up. He’s writing to set the record straight, he says, but really he is pouring out the truth in the hopes that his wife will read it and forgive him. Or if not forgive, at least understand that he was an unfaithful husband and a cowardly man all on his own, but had outside help on the road to final damnation.
