Brea sat down on the couch... skimming through the letter that Alice had written, she quickly looked up and stared at the bookshelf.... she scanned it and suddenly a book caught her attention. She raced up towards the bookshelf and grabbed the book, opening it.
She frowned as she read Alice's letter, over and over.
Brea turned her head and looked over her shoulder... seeing Edward leaning up against the doorframe.
"You okay?" He asked.
Brea placed the book back and walked back to the couch.
"Yes, just been thinking about Alice and Jasper," She sighed.
"They'll be fine! Alice left for a reason, as I've said before," Edward smiled, walking towards the couch.
Brea nodded.
Edward sat down beside her.... placing his hand on her leg and slowly started moving his fingers.
"It's been awhile... since we've spent alone time together," Edward whispered.
Brea rolled her eyes.
Edward squeezed her thigh... causing Brea to bit her lip.
Quickly Edward has Brea on her back... hovering over her lips, he gently placed his lips on hers.
He pressed his hips against hers... grinding slowly.
Brea moaned quietly.
Edward pulled away... and jumped to his feet, leaving Brea breathless.
"Let's go take a shower!" Edward smirked.
"You go get it started, I'll be there in a minute," Brea laughed.
"Don't take too long Mrs. Cullen," Edward said.
"I won't," Brea replied, shaking her head.
As Edward disappeared into the hallway, Brea raced back to the bookshelf and grabbed the book.... as she flipped the pages, she came across more of Alice's handwriting.
"They won't be safe for long, Seth and Leah must take them away... to a safe place if things go bad, pack bags and stuff for them.... you aren't able to go with them, I'm so sorry Brea. In your closet you'll find a red box behind the door... there you will find their passports and money,"

Brea sighed sadly... and tossed the book into the fire, she walked away and walked to the bathroom.... where she found Edward.
Edward turned around and looked at her.
"Are you okay?" Edward asked.
Brea shook off what Alice thought... and looked at Edward.
She smiled.
"Yes. I was just thinking," She said.

The Big Yoink: A Smol Detective Story
This is another fanfic set in the universe of They Are Smol, a delightful series of stories which you should totally go read right now if you haven’t. It’s a sequel to my own The Smol Detective. In this story, Oscar Williams and his adopted alien family have to determine the guilt or innocence of another human and her two alien friends. The trio stands accused of stealing a sacred relic, and if it isn’t found soon an ancient religious cold war could turn very hot indeed… Formal Disclaimer Type Thing: I do not take credit for the original setting, this story is set in an alternate version of the 'They are Smol' universe, written by the one, the only u/tinyprancinghorse. TPH takes many forms and is known by many names. He is like Nyarlathotep, only smaller and cuter and more prancey. TPH also has a Website should you require more Smol Shenanigans in your life. Which you do, so get over there and read it. The cover art for this sequel again comes courtesy of the mighty Akella, and they deserve lots of headpats from giant aliens because they are awesome.

The most empathetic action you would receive, is an open flask and a nod. People here don’t expect to live long and happy lives and even the most optimistic person at most, would hope to die inside of a blender. Deliverance : an adaption of Jane Eyre
This is one of those 'what if' adaptations. I've always wondered why Mr Rochester had to be broken so thoroughly before he could be happy with Jane Eyre. What if she had not been able to get away, what if he had been waiting by her door a second time, pleading her to stay? Would she indeed have lost herself and been made his mistress?
