"You all know what Edward wants. And you know what I want...But I won't force myself on you," Brea said, looking at the Cullen family.
Edward moved away from Brea.
"I think the only fair way to handle this is by voting," Brea smiled.
"You can't be serious!" Edward mumbled.
"This is my meeting, Edward," Brea frowned, turning to look at him.
She faces the family again.
"However this turns out, I'm not letting the Voturi hurt you! I'll go back to Italy alone," Brea sighed.
"The hell you will! I'm not missing another fight," Emmett smirked.
"That's not for a vote, Emmett. I don't want you involved," Brea said.
"Honey, We've always been involved and we're not going to stop," Esme smiled.
"No, please...I want you to seriously think about this. If I join you, you'll be stuck with me for a long time-forever. It's a huge decision! And I want...I need your honesty here," Brea said.
They all nod.
"Then let's take a vote! Alice?" Brea asked.
Alice jumped up and raced towards Brea, pulling her in for a hug.
"Like you're not already my sister. Of course, Yes!" Alice smiled.
Brea smiled, Jasper stood up.
"I vote yes. It'll be a relief not to want to kill you....all the time," Jasper smirked.
"Um. Thanks? Rosalie?" Brea asked.
Rosalie turned to look up at Edward... then to Brea.
"Edward, I'm sorry for what I did. I really am..." Rosalie paused.
"But this isn't the life I'd have chosen for myself. I wish there'd been someone to vote no for me...so I vote no," Rosalie continued.
Brea nodded, then turned towards Emmett....who lifted her up into a bear hug.

"I vote hell yes! We can pick a fight with these Volturi some other way!" Emmett laughed.
Esme approached Brea...pulling her in for a hug.
"I already think of you as part of the family! Yes." Emse smiled.
"Thank you, Esme," Brea said.
Carlisle moved...but not towards Brea.
"Edward?" Carlisle asked.
"You can't go along with this, Carlisle, you know what it means," Edward frowned.
"You've chosen not to live without her, which leaves me no choice. I won't lose my son. Again. But Alice has never turned anyone. It'd be safer If I did it," Carlisle sighed.
Suddenly the front door slammed...Edward was gone. Brea moved towards the door, but stopped.
"Thank you! Thank you all," Brea smiled, quickly disappearing after Edward.
****************
"When?" Edward asked.
"After graduation," Brea said.
"Just two months!" Edward frowned.
"It'll be best for Dad and Bella that way. I can pretend to be at college somewhere. Carlisle suggested it. But I'd wish it was you...." Brea sighed.
"Would you be willing to trade for that?" Edward asked.
"Name it," Brea smiled.
"Five more years as human,' Edward said.
"The Volturi won't wait that long," Brea sighed.
"I'll settle for three," Edward smiled.
"And I'll settle for one," Brea smirked.
"Why are you so willing to give up your soul?" Edward asked.
"Because I don't believe you've lost yours. And I want to share mine with you...forever," Brea smiled.
Suddenly Edward slammed on his breaks. Jacob stood inches away from the car.
Brea groaned and climbed out of the car and followed behind Jacob...Edward soon followed behind,
"You're still alive," Jacob said,
"Why wouldn't I be?" Brea asked.
"He thinks I'm keeping you away," Edward laughed.

"Stay the hell out of my head!" Jacob snapped.
"Jacob, I know you have something to say to me, but I'd like to say something first. Alright?" Edward asked.
Jacob nodded.
"Thank you...for keeping Brea alive when I....didn't," Edward sighed.
"No, you didn't! And it wasn't for your benefit, trust me," Jacob frowned.
"I'm back now. And I'm not leaving Brea's side until she orders me away," Edward said.
"We'll see," Jacob snapped.
"Either way, we'll handle Victoria from here on out," Edward said.
"She's been laying low. Ever since your freaky sister showed up. Guess she can't stand you Cullens either," Jacob replied.
"She'll come back," Brea spoke up.
"If she does, she's ours. She killed on our turf," Jacob growled.
"We'll see," Edward snapped.
"My turn to talk! I'm here to remind you about a key point in the Treaty," Jacob frowned.
"I haven't forgotten," Edward said.
"Good," Jacob smirked.
"Key point?" Brea asked.
"If any of them bites a human, the truce is over. That's bite not kill," Jacob smiled.
"At this point...I'm not even sure I'm even human. But it's none of your business," Brea snapped.
Jacob and Brea...started to shake with rage.
"WHAT?! NO WAY! I won't let you be one of them," Jacob growled.
"Brea, step back," Edward said.
Brea ignored him.
"You're not gonna be one of them!" Jacob snapped.
"That's not your DAMN call," Brea growled.
"You know what we'll do to you-I won't have a choice.." Jacob said but was cut off.
"We're done here," Edward replied.
Edward takes Brea's arm, and started to pull her away.
"You will not speak for her!" Jacob yelled.
Brea raced up to Jacob and pushed him away from Edward... Brea lunged into the air, her clothes ripping off her body, she fell to the ground...in her wolf form.
.
Suddenly Jacob bolted...
Edward placed his hand on Brea's shoulder....she quickly changed back into her humanself.
"Sorry," Brea sighed.
Edward took off his coat and wrapped it around Brea.
"I'm here! Alway.....we'll get through this together," Edward smiled.
Both walked hand in hand out of the woods, but both suddenly stopped.
"Brea, I need to ask you something," Edward said, looking down at her.
"Anything!" Brea smiled.
"I'd like to think about it, if you don't mind," Brea smiled.
Edward nodded.
But deep down Brea already knew that answer....
