All three of them sat quietly in the truck, Bella started to shiver...Jacob pulled her close, Brea was freezing as well but chose not to say anything.... seeing as Bella and Jacob were having a moment.
"Must be nice, never getting cold," Bella whispered, snuggling up against Jacob.
"It's a wolf thing," Jacob laughed.
"It's definitely not a wolf thing! I'm freezing," Brea frowned.
Jacob laughed.
"Anyway...It's a Jacob thing. You're just warm!" Bella smiled.
"Like the sun?" Jacob asked.
"Like the sun!" Bella smiled.
Brea scrunched up her face... feeling gross watching them flirt.
"Which always comes back! You both can always count on me," Jacob said, looking from Bella to Brea.
Jacob pulled along the Swan's house.... Brea opened the door, but Jacob slammed it closed.
"There's a bloodsucker out there!" Jacob growled.
"How do you know?" Brea asked.
Jacob looked at her with a confused expression...
"You can't smell that god awful stench?" Jacob asked.
"Nope!" Brea said.
"I'm getting you out of here!" Jacob replied.
Before he could pull away...Brea jumped out of the truck and raced towards the door.
"BREA! GET BACK IN THE TRUCK!" Bella yelled.
Brea looked around and saw a black Mercedes parked not far from Bella's truck.
"That's Carlisle's car! They're here," Brea smiled.
"It's a trick!" Jacob snapped.
Brea goes to open the door.
"DAMN IT BREA!" Jacob growled.
Brea walked inside....slowly looking around.
"Alice?" Brea whispered.
Suddenly Alice appeared next to her.....
"OH MY GOD! ALICE!" Brea said, pulling her in for a hug.
"I heard voices ....I didn't think it was you but...you're alive," Alice replied.
"Why wouldn't I be alive?" Brea asked.
"I saw you and Bella jump off a cliff... a vision of you both jumping, I thought I'd be too late...Why in the hell would you try and kill yourself? Kill Bella?" Alice snapped.

"I didn't! I-we were cliff diving," Brea sighed, forgetting Alice had visions.
"Why?!" Alice asked.
"Because it looked fun?" Brea said.
"That was fun for you?" Alice questioned.
Suddenly Bella burst through the doors.
"What is that hideous wet dog smell?" Alice asked.
"Oh. Probably Jacob and me....we're kind of werewolves," Brea sighed.
"You? I don't believe it, I don't smell the wet dog smell on you," Alice said.
"Werewolves are not vicious," Bella replied.
"Until they lose their temper," Alice frowned.
"They're protecting us from Victoria...and Brea killed Laurent," Bella said.
"Victoria? I didn't see her! I didn't see you get pulled from the water either," Alice replied, looking at Brea.
"It was Jacob who saved me. I couldn't have made it without him or Bella. Y-You have no idea what it was like," Brea sighed.
"Yes. I do. I knew leaving wouldn't be good for you. I tried to tell Edward, but he wouldn't listen," Alice said.
"D-Does he know you're here?" Brea asked.
"N-No. He's been away," Alice sighed.
*********************
Brea stood outside in sweats and a baggy sweater.... Bella was wearing a black dress and Charlie wore a suit.
"Thanks for understanding, Brea. They wanted to keep the service small," Charlie sighed.
"Dad, don't worry about me. Are you gonna be okay?" Brea asked.
"Yeah...but Sue, and those kids....Leah's only a year older than you both. And Seth's just turned fourteen," Charlie said.
Brea pulled Charlie in for a hug.
"There'll be a reception after. Bella and I might stay late, see if we can help," Charlie replied.
Brea nodded....looking over at Bella, who had a sad look on her face. Brea waved goodbye to them and hurried off inside.

"You're not going?" Alice asked, appearing next to Brea.
"I'm not the most popular person on the werewolf Red right now," Brea sighed, grabbing her head...getting a massive headache.
"Because you're friends with me?" Alice asked.
Brea shrugged.
Alice walked over to the window and frowned,
"Huh! Didn't see them coming! Didn't see him pull you out of the water... maybe my visions are allergic to dogs," Alice sighed.
"Alice?" Brea asked.
"I'll be back soon... need to go hunt," Alice smiled.
Brea walked outside...hearing the sound of a car pull up.
"You alone?" Jacob asked.
"Yes. Shouldn't you be at the funeral? Bella is probably waiting for you," Brea frowned.
"Had to talk to you first," Jacob sighed, he turned and looked at Embry and nodded.
Embry pulled out of the drive away and sped off.
"Look Jake...you shouldn't be here," Brea said, walking inside of her house.
"This place stinks to hell!" Jacob growled.
"There's the front door! You are welcome to leave," Brea snapped.
"How many Cullen's are here and how long are they staying?" Jacob asked.
"Just Alice! And she can stay as long as she wants!" Brea growled.
"Are the rest coming back?" Jacob asked.
"Not that I'm aware of. Anything else?" Brea questioned.
"Nope! That's it," Jacob said.
"Better go report to Sam!" Brea snapped.
Brea walked into the kitchen... trying to get away from Jacob.
"I've done it again. I keep breaking my promise not to hurt you," Jacob sighed.
"At this point I'm use to it...you should go," Brea said.
Suddenly the phone started to ring...Jacob went to answer it.
"OH MY GOD JACOB! GO AWAY! It's rude answering someone else's phone," Brea yelled.
Jacob froze...
"Swan residence!" Jacob growled.
Brea frowned...
"He's not here! He's at a funeral," Jacob snapped, hanging up the phone.
"Who was that?" Brea asked.
"Dr. Cullen," Jacob frowned.
"You should have let me talk to him!" Brea yelled.
"He didn't ask for you!" Jacob snapped.
Suddenly Alice appeared next to Brea.

Polyrhythm Time -- A Bard's Tail
Have you ever met someone who loves what they do so much that they'll skip sleep, food, love and safety to pursue it? What happens if that kind of person encounters a different dimension, yet holds on to their love of music, and specifically of rock drumming. When the world ended at the end of 2057, Kevin Snackenbridge slept through it. He'd been drumming all night. tl;dr-- System eats world -- Monsters and magic ---- LitRpg -- Practice, not levels and stats ---- MC Bard -- support class -- low power ---- MC chooses music over survival skills --tl;dr Kevin trips into the Internal Strength Dimension where Thaumaturgy is king. With the help of a talking plant and several vicious monkeys he learns that the rule is "Change or die." Kevin changes, but remains firmly a drummer/Bard in this high fantasy setting. This is Kevin's adventure, and that of the friends he meets. Kevin has the soul of a real musician. He loves music, specifically rhythm and drumming, and would give his left nut if it would help him drum better. He's a rock drummer, and his language is that of a rock drummer: slanged, duded, and frequently laced with profanity. He focuses on music, and makes decisions that even the author doesn't approve of. However, that means all his decisions are Kevin's decisions, not those of a system-optimizing power-gamer. There's points (All of Arc 2) where he wanders aimlessly. Goals seem foreign to him at points. What would you do if you were a musician, and the world fell apart and you no longer had an audience or band-mates. You'd be kinda lost. Kevin is. Arc 2 is a lot of Kevin not knowing what to do, going with the flow, and not being articulate enough to know that he doesn't know what to do. 1.
