Brea was laying in the familiar meadow, letting the sun soak into her skin.
"Brea!" A familiar voice called out.
Brea sat up and looked around, searching for the voice.
A dark shadow emerged from the tree line... It was Edward.
"Edward!" Brea smiled.
She jumped to her feet, walking towards Edward.
Suddenly he was gone.... Disappearing into thin air. Brea felt a warm hot liquid pour out of her arm, she looked down and saw blood. Brea looked back up hearing a low growl. Jasper stood before her, hissing and growling..... He jumped at her but Brea flung him into the air, across the meadow.
"Brea?" Edward said.
Brea looked up, Edward was looking at her with disgust.... then sadness.
Edward turned on his heels and walked away, disappearing once again.
**************
"Brea! Wake up!" Bella called out.
Brea's eyes snapped open, she turned to look at her door and noticed it was open. Charlie and Bella walk in.
"Good morning sleepy head!" Bella smiled, wrapping her arms around Brea.
"Happy birthday girls!" Charlie said.
"W-What that's today?" Brea asked, completely forgetting.
Charlie handed Bella and Brea their gifts. Both girls got a digital camera and a scrapbook.
"Dad, we all agreed, no gifts," Bella said.
"Wow! Dad, this is actually really great. Thank you," Brea smiled, jumping out of bed to hug her dad.
"Your mother got you both a scrapbook, since this is your senior year," Charlie smiled.
"I can't believe we are seniors," Brea sighed.
"How'd you both get so old?!" Charlie smiled.
"We are not even that old," Brea laughed.
"I don't know kiddo. Is that a wrinkle?" Charlie asked.
Brea jumped over her bed and looked into the mirror, searching her face.
"Kidding!" Charlie laughed.
Brea grabbed a pillow off of her bed and tossed it at Charlie, who bolted out of her room.
"That's not funny!" Brea called out.
Charlie's laughter filled the hall and soon disappeared.
Brea and Bella both got dressed and headed outside.
"You want me to drive you or are you gonna ride the bike?" Bella asked.
"It's a nice day! I'm gonna ride the bike," Brea smiled, hopping on her bike and pulled out of the driveway.

"Race you to school!" Brea called out and sped off.
"No fair! Brea!" Bella called out.
Brea laughed. Hearing what Bella said.
Ten minutes later Brea pulled into the parking lot.
"Brea! Hey!" Angela greeted as Brea climbed off her bike.
"Hey Angela!" Brea smiled.
"You finish the Shakespeare assignment?" Mike asked.
"He means will you finish his assignment?" Jessica laughed.
"No, I don't-okay I do," Mike said.
"No Mike! You've had a week to finish it," Brea frowned.
Angela and Jessica both giggled....
"See, I told you," Jessica replied.
"I need a picture of you guys. My mom is expecting a scrapbook full of memories," Brea sighed.
"I take them, I don't pose for them," Angela laughed.
"Oh but today you do!" Brea smiled.
Brea pushed them together and quickly takes a picture...
Suddenly Bella joined them, and took a picture of the group.
"Oh good. Cullen's here," Mike groaned.
Brea turned to gaze at Edward, who climbed out of his Volvo and made his may towards Brea. Their eyes never leaving one another.
"Happy Birthday, Love," Edward smiled.
"Ugh don't remind me," Brea sighed.
"Your birth is definitely a day to celebrate," Edward smirked.
"Not for me," Brea frowned.
"Eighteen is a little early to be worrying about your age," Edward said, pulling Brea in closer.
"It's one year older than you," Brea smiled.
"Brea, I'm a hundred and nine," Edward replied.
"True. Maybe I should be creeped out that I'm dating such an old guy. I sure know how to pick them," Brea laughed.
Bella stood a couple of feet away and watched the two love birds, a smile spread across her face seeing how happy Brea was.
"Yes, It's the age that's creepy, not the fact that you're dating a vampire," Edward smiled.
Edward then pulled her in for a kiss, she kissed him back...despite their restraint, the passion mounts, until they both pull away. As always, both are left with wanting more. Edward wrapped his arm around Brea and started walking towards the building.
"Let's go to class," Edward said.
"Ah yes, class," Brea smiled.
Edward suddenly stopped, holding back Brea... he turned and looked over at Bella.

"Someone is here to see the both of you," Edward frowned.
"Brea! Bella!" A familiar voice called out.
Brea turned and looked at who it was... she sighed when she noticed it was Jacob.
"My god Jacob, what are they feeding you on that Rez? Steroids? You're huge!" Brea said, moving closer to Edward.
"Wouldn't seem so drastic if you came around more," Jacob laughed.
"I will, soon. Maybe. Hey! Isn't your school, like ten miles away?" Brea replied.
"Just here buying this for the Rabbit. I'm almost done with the rebuild. You should uh-come take a ride when it's done! Oh, and hey! Happy birthday to you both! Your dad told my dad," Jacob smiled, staring at Brea.
"Is it fast?" Brea asked.
"Not really, but it could be fun!" Jacob laughed.
"Ah well I'm into very fast things," Brea smirked, turning to look up at Edward.
Jacob pulled two small gifts from his pocket and handed them to Bella, who handed one to Brea.
"I saw them the other day and thought of you both-they catch bad dreams," Jacob said.
"Wow, Jacob thanks! I really needed this," Bella smiled, gazing up at Jacob.
"Um Bella, we should go! The bell is about to ring," Brea said.
"Ooh look at you! All psychic!" Jacob smirked.
Brea grew uncomfortable, and frowned at him.
"I don't have that gift! I can read a damn watch," Brea snapped.
Brea turned on her heels and walked away.
"Ugh what an ass!" Brea mumbled.
Edward laughed.
"How come Jacob Black gets to give you a gift and I don't?" Edward asked, looking down at a very uneasy Brea.
"I didn't want to not take it, it's rude," Brea sighed, looking at Edward.
"Well just know he spent two weeks looking for the perfect gift if you and Bella," Edward smirked.
"I-I don't know why he got me a gift...Bella likes him, not me," Brea said.
Suddenly Alice appeared in front of Brea, pulling her in for a hug.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Alice yelled.
"Alice! Hey!" Brea smiled.
Alice handed Brea two boxes.
"Alice? I thought I said no gifts," Brea said.
"You did! One's for you and Bella! And I've already seen you open it and guess what? You'll love it!" Alice smiled.
"You had a vision about my birthday?" Brea asked.
"And about the blue dress you'll be wearing to your party tonight! Bella has to come too!" Alice laughed.
"Party?" Brea asked, turning to look at Edward who was holding back a laugh.
"It'll be fun!" Alice said.
"Alright! We'll be there!" Brea smiled.
Alice pulled Brea in for another hug and quickly rushed away.
"Jasper, no fair with the mood control thing," Brea whispered.
Jasper turned to look at Brea and smirked. Edward grabbed Brea's hand and pulled her away.
"Vampires! You can't trust them," Edward laughed.
Brea and Edward sat in the back of the class, watching Romeo and Juliet... Brea was so into the movie that she didn't even know Edward was gazing at her.
"Arms, take your last embrace, and lips, O you, the doors of breath, seal with a righteous kiss," Romeo said.
Brea's eyes started to tear up.
"Here's to my love! O true apothecary! Thy drugs are quick," Romeo said, drinking the poison.
Brea looked at Edward... who was still gazing at her. She quickly wiped away her tears.
"Even crying, you are beautiful," Edward smiled.
Brea shook her head and smiled.
"Why do you guys wanna celebrate my birth?" Brea asked.
"Because the last time we actually had a birthday party was for Emmett...I think Bing Crosby was on top of the charts, You'll be helping us feel normal for one night," Edward said.
Brea sits back.... Edward grabbed her hand and kissed it, sending chills all over her body.
"There are worse tragedies than a birthday. Look at Romeo, he's responsible for his wife's death. Who could live with that? Though I do envy him," Edward said.
"Juliet's alright....If you like that obviously beautiful sort of thing," Brea replied, looking back at the screen.
"Not the girl, but of the suicide. Nearly impossible for my kind. But humans, a little poison, dagger to the heart. There are so many options," Edward sighed.
Edward was still holding Brea's hand... staring at her scar.

Until You Do It Right
The world ended on December thirty-first of the year two thousand and twenty, precisely at the stroke of midnight. The human race began to be systematically exterminated by the spawn of the System. We were given a chance to defeat them, to take back our place at the top of the food chain. We failed. The first to perish were those who bravely rebelled. The soldiers. The defenders. One by one, they fell. In their final moments, they begged for aid. Nobody replied. The next to succumb were those who feebly cowered. The deniers. The leeches. Together, they fell. In their final moments, they cried out into the darkness. Countless voices replied in kind. The last to decline were those who shamelessly ran. The deserters. The cowardly. Alone, they fell. In their final moments, they whimpered quietly. There was nobody left to answer. The final human to die was a survivor. A runner. As he died, he begged for salvation. His prayers were answered. He was offered a chance to save himself, along with all of humanity, and he took it. This is his story. “I sat in the dark and thought: There’s no big apocalypse. Just an endless procession of little ones.”― Neil Gaiman, Signal to Noise. I am absolutely new to writing and will take any and all constructive criticism. Please give feedback, it is greatly appreciated. I will update the tags as they change, and I hope that you enjoy this little story I'm writing! Quick warning: Seamus is intentionally a flawed character, and this story is going to explore those flaws and perhaps even change a few of them. I do not agree with all of his actions, but it is what it is.
