Brea and Bella quickly gathered up their things, While Alice and Jasper loaded up the car.
"Brea! Mom is calling me," Bella said.
"Answer it and put it on speaker," Brea replied.
Bella nodded.
"BREA!? BELLA!? Where are you girls?" Their mother asked, her voice filled with panic.
"Calm down! Everything is fine, okay? We'll explain everything," Brea said.
The line went silent...both girls heard rustling on the other end.
"M-Mom? Are you there?" Brea asked.
Both girls hear a voice. Causing chills to run down their spine.
"Nice house you girls have here! Not the best on the block, but comfortable," James smirked.
Both girls froze.
"I was prepared to wait for you both, mostly Brea. But then when mom came home after she received a very worried call from your dad. It all worked out quite well," James said.
Brea's eyes filled with fear.
"I must say, Forks High School doesn't protect it's student's privacy very well. It was just too easy for Victoria to find your previous address," James continued.
"BREA!? BELLA!?" Their mother called out.
Anger grew inside of Brea....something she hasn't felt before.
"Leave my mother out of this?" Brea growled.
"You're protective of her! That's cute! You can still save her. But you'll need to get away from your friends....and bring your sister. Can you do that?" James asked.
Bella shook her head.... She knew this was a bad idea.
"I-I don't think so," Brea said.
"If your mother's life depends on it?" James asked.
Both girls are beyond terrified. But there was no other choice.
"Where should I meet you?" James smirked.
"How about the old ballet studio around the corner? And I'll know if you bring anyone besides your sister. Poor mommy would pay the price for the mistake. Mmm she smells just like you. Delicious!" James said.
Brea grabbed Bella's phone and quickly hung up.
"Brea! Y-your eyes!" Bella said.
"W-what?" Brea asked, rushing towards the mirror in the bedroom.
She stood in the mirror...Her eyes were a golden color, she turned and looked at Bella...confusion filled both of their eyes.
"A-Are you a vampire?" Bella asked.
"No, I don't know what is happening," Brea sighed.
Both girls quickly grabbed their bags....both have their pepper spray. Knowing that wasn't gonna save them.
Bella called a Taxi....they rushed out into the lobby, sneaking past Alice and Jasper.
"8th and Palo Verde, please," Bella said, climbing into the taxi.
They pulled up to the ballet studio.
She turned and looked at Bella and smiled... knowing this was probably the last time she'd see her twin sister.
They climbed out of the Taxi. Brea placed her pepper spray in her jacket pocket.
They entered the studio.
"BREA!? BELLA!?" Their mother called out.
Brea goes to the front door. It's unlocked.
Both girls walk into the room full of mirrors...cautiously.
"BREA! BELLA! Where are you girls?" Their mother called out.
Brea and Bella take off running, both seeking to try and find the source. They rush towards the supply closet... only to find a video of them.
Both the age of seven, hiding in the very closet the tv is in now.
"Don't you want to dance, baby?" Their mother asked young Bella.

Little Bella shakes her head stubbornly...then looks over at little Brea.
"Mama, everyone was making fun of her," Brea sighed, pulling Bella closer to her.
"Awe honey! You're a wonderful dancer," Their mother laughed.
"Mama, I suck," Bella frowned.
Suddenly someone was laughing behind them...They spin, trying to locate James in the mirrors.
"That's my favorite part! Brea is always protecting her sister. Stubborn child, wasn't she?" James asked.
Brea's body fills with rage. But instant relief.
"She's not here," Brea whispered to Bella.
"Sorry! But you both made it so easy," James smirked.
James sighed. And stepped out...standing next to both girls. Pointing a camera towards Brea.
"So to make things more entertaining, I'm going to make a little film of our time together. Borrowed this from your house! Hope you don't mind. And.... ACTION," James smirked.
Brea flinged her purse at him, and grabbed Bella's hand and raced for the door.
Suddenly, He's right in front of them.
"It'll break Edward's little heart!" James laughed.
James pulled Brea in.... Smelling her hair, then touches her throat.
"EDWARD HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS?" Brea growled.
"Brea's your eyes!" Bella whispered.
"Oh but he will! His rage will make for more interesting sport than his feeble attempt to protect you...and your sister," James said.
Brea grabbed her pepper spray and sprayed him in the face.
"BELLA RUN!!" Brea yelled.
Bella took off running.
James tried go after her...but Brea grabbed his arm and flung him across the room.
She takes off running after Bella. Who was nowhere in sight.
Suddenly James flung her across the room like a bowling ball. Her body hits a mirrored column. James captured it.
"Beautiful! Very visually dynamic. I chose my stage well," James laughed.
Brea stood up... she was even more angry then from before.
"You are very stubborn, aren't you? You know how to fight back, is that what makes you so special? Because frankly, I don't see it," James growled.
Brea felt a hot warm liquid run down her face.
"Too bad he didn't have the strength to turn you! Instead, he kept you this fragile little human. It's very cruel, really," James laughed.
James flipped the camera to face him, but the lens is coated with pepper spray.
"WELL DONE! You've succeeded in annoying me!" James yelled.
"YOU ARE ANNOYING ME!" Brea yelled back.
James tried to go after her again.
Brea put out her hands...
"LEAVE ME ALONE!" Brea growled.
A sudden form of energy shoots out of her hands... sending James flying and her as well.
James quickly stood up and raced towards her.
"Tell Edward how much this is going to hurt," James smirked.
James stomped on her arm... there was a loud snap.
Brea screamed out in agony.
"Tell him to avenge you!" James laughed.
"NO!" Brea screamed... sending James flying again.
Brea stood up and held her broken arm...
Suddenly a blur rushed past her. A familiar scent filled her nose.
"Edward," Brea whispered.
James stood up again.
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU?" James asked, looking at Brea.
Edward pinned James up against a column.
"You're alone...because you're faster than the others. But not stronger," James smirked.

James smashed Edward's face into a mirror.....it shattered.
"I'm strong enough to kill you!" Edward growled.
Edward flipped James backwards... through a freestanding mirror. He quickly rushed towards Brea and scooped her up, jumping towards the balcony,
James yanked Edward violently onto the floor...knocking Brea out of his arms.
James flings Edward up into the top window.... Embedding him in the casement and bricks.
James rushed towards Brea and crouches beside her, he grabbed her broken arm.. Looking directly at Edward with a smirk...he sank his teeth into her hand. Brea screamed and stood up grabbing James by the throat with her one good arm and tossed him away from her. She fell to her knees and cried out in agony.
Brea fell over and stared up at the ceiling, feeling the burning sensation of the venom spread through her body.... She could hear James and Edward fight, but she was too weak to look.
"Brea!" A familiar voice said.
She turned and saw Bella run up to her.
"Bella," Brea smiled weakly.
Brea tried sitting up, but her body wouldn't move...
"Oh Brea... what'd he do to you?" Bella asked.
"M-More like what I didn't do to him," Brea coughed.
"Now is not the time to be cracking jokes," Bella sighed.
Suddenly Dr. Cullen appeared beside Brea.
"Her femoral artery was severed. She's losing too much blood," Dr. Cullen said.
"It's burning! My hand," Brea screamed out, feeling the pain again.
"Venom," Edward growled.
"You have to make a choice! Either let the change happen or..." Dr. Cullen said but was cut off.
"NO!" Edward yelled.
"It's going to happen! I've seen it," Alice sighed, appearing beside Brea... holding her hand.
"It doesn't have to be this way," Edward sighed.
"Alice, Bella find me a tourniquet! A rag, a shirt," Dr. Cullen said.
Alice held her nose and avoided the blood as she ripped the sleeves off of Bella's shirt.
"I-it's burning," Brea mumbled.
"What's the other choice?" Edward asked.
"Bella tighter above her knee," Dr. Cullen ordered.
"Carlisle!" Edward yelled.
"You can try to suck the venom out," Dr. Cullen said.
"I-won't be able to stop," Edward replied.
"Find the will to stop! But choose, she only has minutes left," Dr. Cullen sighed.
Edward looked over at Bella who nodded... he then looked down at Brea, he takes her hand .. Brea tried pulling away, but cried out in pain..... Remembering it was broken.
"It's alright, Brea! I'll make the pain go away," Edward said.
He looked at her... then started to suck the venom out of her hand. They never took their eyes off one another, the connection palpable...intense.
"Stop! Her blood is clean, you're killing her," Dr. Cullen ordered.
Brea looked at him, forgivingly, as she began to lose consciousness.
Suddenly her vision goes blurry... everyone disappears into the blinding light.
Imagines of her childhood played... all the way up until the very moment she met Edward.
Brea opened her eyes.. She squints as the light started to burn.
Brea suddenly gasped for air...sitting up, ripping out her oxygen tube.
"You're awake, baby! You're okay!" A familiar voice said.
Brea laid back down and noticed she was in a hospital bed... she looked over at her arm and saw that it was in a cast.
"Edward? Bella? Where are they?" Brea asked.
"He's asleep... and Bella is with your dad," Her mother smiled.
Brea looked over in the corner of the room and saw that he was sleeping.. Not really sleeping.
"What happened?" Brea asked, grabbing her head.
"Baby, you fell down two flights of stairs and through a window," Her mother sighed.
Brea looked at her mom with a confused look.
"Edward came here to convinced you and Bella to come back to Forks. His father brought him down. You went to their hotel but tripped on the stairs," Her mother sighed.
"Sounds like me," Brea laughed. Realizing it's a cover story.
Her mother's phone beeped. She opened it, and replied.
"It's Phil. He's worried about you," Her mother smiled.
"Mom, you're texting?!" Brea laughed.
"I told him to stay in Florida. The Suns signed him!" Her mother smiled.
"That's amazing mom," Brea said.
"Oh honey! Jacksonville is always sunny and I know you don't like the sun, but it'll be good for you... Plus you'll have your very own bathroom and bedroom," Her mother replied.
"Whoa Mom! Wait! I want to live in Forks! I have Dad and friends," Brea frowned.
"And Edward's there," Her mother frowned.
Brea shrugged.
"Charlie doesn't like him! Blames him for you and Bella leaving," Her mother said.
"What do you think?" Brea asked.
"I think that boy is in love with you," Her mother smiled.
Brea smiled.
"Um, Mom... would you mind getting Dad? I'd like to apologize, I know I put him through a lot," Brea sighed.
"I'm sure he doesn't care about that, Baby. But sure I'll go get him," Her mother said.
Her mother placed a kiss on her forehead... and left the room.
Brea looked over at Edward, who was already by her side.
"He's dead, isn't he?" Brea asked.
"Yes, we took care of him! And the woman, Victoria...she ran off," Edward said.
"Thank you," Brea smiled.
"No, Brea don't thank me! You're in here because of me," Edward frowned.
Brea looked up at him....
"The worst of it-was thinking I couldn't stop," Edward said but was cut off.
"But you did!" Brea replied.
"Brea, you should go to Jacksonville. Where I can't hurt you anymore," Edward sighed.
Brea sat up... getting out of bed, pushing Edward.
WHAT THE FUCK! NO! ARE YOU CRAZY! I WANT TO BE WITH YOU!" Brea yelled.
"It's alright. I'm not going anywhere. I'm right here..." Edward paused, looking closer at Brea.
"Your eyes.... They are a different color, no longer blue," Edward continued.
Brea looked at him, and shrugged.
"Bella noticed that... right before we left to see James, I don't know what's wrong with me," Brea sighed.
Edward picked up Brea and placed her back in bed...
"Either way, your eyes are beautiful," Edward smiled, leaning in.
Brea grabbed his shirt and pulled him in for a kiss. Edward was taken back by her actions but quickly kissed her back.
