Brea climbed out of Edward's car...everyone glared at them.
"E-everyone's staring," Brea whispered.
"Not that guy over.... Yeah, he just looked," Edward laughed.
Brea looked over at Bella, who had a frown on her face....shaking her head.
Edward and Brea hurried off inside.
School went by super fast, Brea waited by Bella's truck... Edward walked by her and smiled, she returned it.
"Brea! We need to talk now!" Bella yelled.
Brea jumped.
"A-about what?" Brea questioned.
"Get in the truck now!" Bella snapped.
"Bella, calm down!" Brea said. And climbed into the truck. Both girls slammed the truck doors.
"I KNOW ABOUT HIM!" Bella yelled.
"Know about who?" Brea asked.
"DAMN IT BREA! Don't play dumb with me!" Bella snapped.
"First of all, don't start yelling at me... second of all, how could you possibly know?" Brea questioned.
"Your blue book, that you picked up from the bookstore...when Jessica and Angela were picking out their prom dresses," Bella said.
"You WENT through my things?!" Brea snapped.
"Y-You were keeping things from me, I wanted to know the truth," Bella sighed.
"You could've asked but then again..... it's not my secret to tell," Brea frowned.
Bella pulled the truck out of the parking lot and drove to the café, where they were meeting Charlie.
"So Edward is a vampire," Bella said.
"Yes, but you can't tell anyone! He means everything to me," Brea sighed.
"I won't! I just wanted the truth," Bella smiled.
Brea frowned... turning to look out of the window.
Anger grew inside of her....so did fear. Fear that Edward would leave... Anger because Bella could ruin everything.
They pulled into the coffee shop parking lot.... Mike walked over to Brea's side and opened the door for her.
"So! You and Cullen! I don't like it," Mike frowned.
"MY GOD MIKE! I DON'T LIKE YOU, Why can't you get the FUCKING HINT! leave me the hell alone," Brea snapped, she pushed passed Mike and walked into the shop.
"Sorry we're late! Bella had to do something for Biology," Brea smiled, sitting down next to Charlie.
"I ordered you the garden salad, and I ordered Bella the seafood combo," Charlie said.
"You should order one for yourself next time. You need to cut back on the steak!" Brea laughed.
"I'm healthy as a horse," Charlie smiled.
"Even horses get sick and DIE," Brea smirked.
"Say Chief, boys want to know, you find anything down by the Queets river today?" Cora asked, utter sadness filled her eyes.... Quickly setting down their food.
Charlie cleared his throat, grabbing everyone's attention.
"The suspect's moving east. Kitsap County Sheriff is taking over from here. They're putting extra guys on," Charlie sighed.
"Hope they catch him fast," Cora said, her voice breaking.
"Your friends are flagging you, Bella," Charlie laughed.
Brea and Bella turn to see Mike and a couple of guys horsing around outside, straws in their noses, making goofy faces at them. Bella laughed, while Brea scrunched up her face. Looking very unpleased.
"It's okay you wanna join them! I'm just gonna turn in early anyway," Charlie laughed.
"Y-yeah me too," Brea sighed.
"Brea, It's Friday night! Go out! The Newton boy has a big smile for you. Nice family, the Newtons," Charlie smiled.
"My god Dad! Ew gross! Absolutely Not!" Brea frowned.
"None of the boys in town interest you?" Charlie asked.
"We're not really going to talk about boys, are we? I mean what about Bella?" Brea questioned, looking over at her sister.

"Brea, I'm going out with friends tonight. And you aren't, why?" Bella asked.
"Because I don't want any friends, I have my books and my old movies," Brea smiled.
"Yo-Just...you should be around people. I leave you both alone too much," Charlie sighed.
"I've never minded being alone. Guess I'm a lot like my dad in that way," Brea smiled.
Cora walked back over, with two plates one of berry cobbler and the other plate of peach cobbler.
"Berry cobbler and Peach cobbler," Cora said.
They all three quickly ate the cobblers and hurried home.
"Brea! Do you want to talk to mom?" Bella asked, storming into her sisters room.
"Bella! Knock!" Brea groaned, sitting on her bed watching Frankenstein.
"Really? You needed me to knock," Bella laughed.
"Um yeah! I can't miss the best part," Brea smiled, quickly standing up on her bed..moving her arms around like a zombie.
Bella brought the phone up to her ear.
"Mom if only you could see what she was doing," Bella laughed.
"IT'S ALIVE! IT'S ALIVE!" Brea yelled, falling back on to her bed laughing.
"I worry about you," Bella smiled.
"Don't you have someplace to be?" Brea said.
"Yes! Jessica is picking me up, we are having a slumber party at her house," Bella replied.
"Wow! Slumber party!" Brea gasped.
"I'll be back tomorrow," Bella smiled, closing her sisters door.
Brea turned to face the tv but jumped when she noticed Edward sitting on the edge of her bed.
"H-How did you get in here?" Brea asked.
"The window. As always!" Edward smiled.
"Y-You've been here before?" Brea questioned...feeling completely embarrassed.
"What else is there to do at night?" Edward smirked.
Brea pushed him. Edward grabbed her hand and playfully pulled her onto the bed more.
"You're a peeping Tom! What a Perv!" Brea laughed.
"Shh! The Chief will hear you!" Edward smirked.
"Oh please! He's dead asleep," Brea said, rolling her eyes.
The electricity of their physical contact quickly overwhelmed them, their laughter quieting. Edward studied her face.
"I-I just.... Like watching over you," Edward sighed.
He raised his fingers to her lips, sending a thrill up her spine.
"There's something I'd like to try," Edward said, gazing at her.... almost like he was asking for permission.
Brea nods, bedazzled by him. He gently took her face in his hands, hesitated to test himself...then he softly kissed her. Brea's breath comes in a wild gasp, Her fingers knot in his hair, clutching him closer to her. Lips part as she breathes in his scent. Edward's hands gently, but forcefully pushed her face back. Brea opened her eyes to see that his eyes were wild..... while his jaw clenched.
"Oh...I'm sorry," Brea said, completely mortified.
"I'm stronger than I thought," Edward sighed.
"Wish I could say the same. I'm so embarrassed," Brea replied, looking down at her hands.
"Don't be! But we have to be careful! I can never lose control with you, ever," Edward said.
"Then we must be careful, because I want this to work," Brea smiled.
"As do I," Edward smirked, pulling Brea closer to him.
"Edward, I must tell you something," Brea yawned.
"Anything," Edward said.
"M-my sister knows...about you, she promised she wouldn't tell. Please don't leave me," Brea sighed, looking into his eyes.
"I won't leave you, but I must inform my family about this," Edward replied.

"Wait until I fall asleep? I like the coldness of your body," Brea yawned.
Edward nodded, wrapping his arms around her.
Brea laid her head on his chest, and they both finished watching the movie....Brea slowly drifted off to sleep.
******************
It was a late afternoon when Brea walked into the living room, Bella was sitting on the couch watching a movie...while Charlie was cleaning his rifle, Charlie looked up and smiled.
"I-I have a date with Edward Cullen!" Brea blurted out.
"It's about damn time!" Bella laughed.
"He's too old for you," Charlie mumbled.
"We're both juniors! I thought you liked the Cullen's?" Brea asked.
"And I thought you weren't interested in any of the boys in town," Charlie smirked.
"Edward doesn't really live in town. And we're in the early stage! Anyhow he's outside right now," Brea smiled.
"Now?! He's outside!" Bella said.
"He wanted to meet you both! Officially!" Brea smiled. Pure happiness filled her eyes.
"Alright! Send him in!" Charlie sighed.
Bella jumped over the couch and raced towards the door, opening it.
Brea stood in front of her father.
"Be nice, okay? He's very important to me!" Brea frowned.
Charlie gave his daughter a reassuring nod.
"Chief Swan, I wanted to formally introduce myself. I'm Edward," Edward smiled extending his hand.
Charlie shook his hand and grumbled.
"I won't keep Brea out late tonight! But I was wondering if Bella could come along as well, we're just going to play some baseball with my family," Edward smirked.
"Brea and Bella going to play baseball? I don't see why Bella can't, unless she has plans?" Charlie asked.
"Just give me five minutes!" Bella yelled, racing upstairs.
Brea looked up at Edward and smiled.
"They'll be safe with me, sir, I promise," Edward replied, staring into Charlie's eyes.
As Edward exits the room, Brea turned to join him but was stopped.
"Brea you have the pepper spray?" Charlie asked.
"Dad! Oh my god!" Brea gasped.
Bella suddenly came racing down the stairs.
Edward, Brea and Bella quickly walk outside the house.
"Your father thinks you should go to an all girl school," Edward whispered in Brea's ear.
"No fair, reading Charlie's mind," Brea laughed.
They all three climb into the massive jeep parked in the drive way.
"Since when do vampires like baseball?" Bella asked, leaning over the seat.
"It's the American pastime! Plus, there's a thunderstorm coming. It's the only time we can play. You'll both see why," Edward smirked.
Storm clouds gathered up in the sky as Brea, Bella and Edward pulled into an open field. Edward parked the Jeep and rushed to Brea's door and opened it.
"Brea! Glad you could come, and you must be her sister Bella," Esme greeted.
Emmett came rushing up towards them, and pulled Brea into a gentle hug.
"Alright! Now we have two umpires! Since you guys like to cheat," Esme laughed.
"I think Bella should go first," Brea smirked.
Edward pulled Brea into his chest, and kissed the top of her head... and in a blink of an eye he was in out field.
"It's time!" Alice called out.
Bella stood next to Esme and Brea and watched... Alice pitched with lightning fast speed, Edward and Emmett quickly got into positions.
"Now I get why you need the thunder," Brea smiled.
Bella laughed.
Rosalie smashed the ball with the aluminum bat....it crackled like thunder, sending chills down both of the Swam girls spines. The ball shoots like a meteor deep into the forest, rocketing through the trees. Edward disappeared after it.
"That has to be a home run!" Bella said.
"Edward's very fast," Esme smiled, turning to look at Brea... who was watching his every move.
Rosalie darts around the bases, almost a blur...to the human eye. There was aloud CLAP a spilt second before Rosalie slid into home plate.
"Yer out," Bella replied.
Rosalie stood up and growled.
"Rosalie it's just a game, but I thought you did amazing," Brea smiled.
Rosalie nodded and walked away....a smile appeared on her face.
After Dr. Cullen went and scored, it was Jasper's turn... He whacked the next pitch....sending the ball deep into the forest.
Suddenly Alice gasped.
Brea clenched her head... getting bits and pieces of three vampires coming towards them. Edward looked at her and concern filled his eyes.
"STOP! I didn't see them!" Alice yelled.
They all stop. Edward is immediately at Brea's side.... pulling her close.
"They're traveling so quickly," Brea whispered.
"You said they left the county," Rosalie sighed.
"They did! But then they heard us.. And changed their minds," Alice said.
"You both need to pull your hair down," Edward replied, lookin from Brea to Bella.
"Like that'll help! I could smell them both across the field," Rosalie groaned.
Brea and Bella nodded, pulling their hair down....Edward arranged Brea's hair while Alice fixed Bella's.
"I-I shouldn't have brought you both here! I'm so sorry," Edward sighed.
Brea grabbed his hand and squeezed it... giving him a small smile.
There was a faint rustle... then three people emerged. An African American man, a red headed woman and a blonde headed man.....As they near, Brea noticed they were barefoot, she looked into their eyes and noticed they weren't golden, which meant only one thing...they drank human blood.
"I believe this belongs to you!" The African American said.
"Thank you!" Dr. Cullen smiled.
Brea and Edward stare at the blonde headed man.
Edward snapped his head down at Brea, who looked more scared than ever.
"Could you use three more players!" The African American asked.
"Of course!" Dr. Cullen smiled.
"I'm Laurent! This is Victoria and James," Laurent said.
"Would you like to bat first?" Dr. Cullen asked.
Laurent goes to pick up a bat.... When all of a sudden a gush of wind blew through the field. James stared down at Brea and smirked.
"You guys brought a snack!" James smirked.
Edward springs in front of Brea and Bella, baring his teeth. A truly menacing, feral snarl ripped from his throat...James growled backed.
In a flash, The Cullens rushed into position behind Edward...guarding both girls.
"Both girls are with us!" Dr. Cullen ordered.
"We won't harm them," Laurent said, trying to defuse the situation.
"Just try it," Emmett growled.
"I think you three should leave," Dr. Cullen shrugged,
"Yes, I can see the game is over! We'll go now! James?" Laurent nodded.
James continued to stare at Brea...hunger filled his eyes. Then turned on his feet and rushed off into the woods, with Laurent and Victoria on his tail.
"Get Brea and Bella out of here! We'll follow them," Dr. Cullen Ordered.
Without a warning Edward scooped up Brea and rushed her to the Jeep, while Bella ran towards the Jeep. Edward quickly strapped Brea in.
"James is a tracker! We-I saw his mind. The hunt is his obsession, and my reaction set him off. We're a large clan of strong fighters all protecting two vulnerable humans... but he's more interested in Brea than you Bella, I just made this his most exciting game ever," Edward said.
Brea's chest started to rise and lower.... Quicker than normal. Tears started to form in her eyes, she quickly wiped them away before Edward could noticed,
"The first place he'll go is your house! He'll track Brea's scent there," Edward sighed.
"WHAT!?! Charlie's there. He's in danger because of me! Bella is in danger because of me! BECAUSE OF US!" Brea snapped.
"Then we'll lead the tracker away from him. Somehow," Edward replied, looking over at Brea... who was upset.
Bella sat in the back..... Not saying a word. Very much in shock.
Brea nodded.
They quickly pulled up to the Swan's house, Brea and Bella slammed the Jeep doors. Bella started rushing up the stairs....but Brea grabbed her arm.
"Follow my lead, okay?" Brea asked.
Bella looked into Brea's eyes....seeing the fear. She nodded and opened the front door.
"Edward, I said leave me alone!" Brea yelled.
"Brea, don't do this. Just think about it...think about us! Please!" Edward sighed, sounding completely heartbroken.
"Whoa! She said GET OUT! YOU GUYS ARE OVER!" Bella yelled, slamming the door in Edward's face.
"Brea? Bella? What happened?" Charlie asked, concern filled his eyes.
"I have to get out of this place! Out of Forks! I'm leaving. Now!" Brea snapped.
Brea raced upstairs...Charlie and Bella followed her.
Brea slammed her door and locked it, she turned around and saw Edward was already packing her bag....she leaned against the door.
"I-I can't hurt him," Brea whispered.
"Baby, Did he hurt you?" Charlie asked on the other side of the door.
"N-No, Dad," Brea sighed.
"Then what? Did he break up with you?" Charlie asked.
"I broke up with him!" Brea replied.
"I-I thought you liked him?" Charlie asked, wanting her to open up to him.
"That's why I have to leave! I don't want this anymore. I want to go home," Brea said.
"I'll be in the Jeep," Edward whispered. Disappearing out of the window.
Brea gathered the remaining strength she had and opened the door, grabbing her bag and rushing down the stairs. Charlie following.
Bella soon joined them, with her bag packed as well. Charlie looked from Brea to Bella.... Sadness filled his eyes.
"Your mother's not even in Phoenix," Charlie said.
"She'll come home! I'll call her from the road," Bella spoke up.
"You both can't drive home now. I'll take you guys to the airport in the morning," Charlie sighed.
"We-I want to drive. I need time to think. I'll pull into a motel in a few hours. I promise," Brea said.
Brea goes for the door but Charlie quickly blocked it.
"Girls, I know I'm not around very much, but I can change that! We can do more things together," Charlie smiled weakly.
Brea takes a deep breath, regretting what she's about to say next.
"Like watching more baseball on the flat screen? Or go to the coffee shop? Same people, same steak, Same damn cobbler every night?! T-that's you, dad. Not us!" Brea snapped.
"Girls....I just got you both back, please," Charlie sighed. Holding back the tears.
"And if I-we don't get out now, then we're gonna get stuck here like mom was," Brea yelled, pushing past Charlie and out the door, with Bella on her tail.
Fresh tears spring to their eyes....
"Damn it! I forgot my keys to my bike," Brea sighed.

Grimm Tales: A RWBY Story
Two years after losing everything, two sisters will try to rebuild the lives they one had, as well as mend the heartache left behind through their connection with the many strange cast of characters they meet, and the many strange story's they're caught up in. Grimm Tales is a RWBY fan fiction I wrote and illustrated from 2014 through 2016. Keep that in mind when experiencing the story and the art within it. Also keep in mind that this story is technically unfinished. I put this aside in October of 2016 after completing what you can call the "first season" of what was going to be a multipart series. Even though the entire story remains unfinished, things do end in a somewhat satisfactory manner.

Flame Beneath The Snowfall
Alto is a world governed by Tones. Magic, as one might call it. Manifested through deep mental and physical conditioning, one can control the Tones in a way that is unique to them. The power to store items in gems, transfer life, affect a person's mind, and even the more primal abilities such as control of the elements. Those who have these supernatural abilities are called 'Vassals.' People that fully manifest their abilities are not as common as one might think, and not all Vassals acquire their ability through practice, given if conditions are met. In fact, those who had received much trauma manifest the Tones more frequently, albeit spontaneously. However, the rare kind of Vassals are those who manifest it from childhood. A gift, but not without its repercussions. Alto is stuck in a transitional era, where the line between modern and dated technology is blurred. One can travel to a city that has a tall skyline, bustling with people in sophisticated clothing, or a mere town governed by a lord, all the while riding on a powered vehicle. Cultures vary: Some turn to the more dated practices such as castes, others are more inclined to set equal footing on their people, led by nobility. Some are dedicated to become scholars, studying Alto's Tones, while others set foot on hunts, protecting lone towns from the creatures of some of the still-untamed lands. And the Vassals? Those willing are took under The Organization, an elusive group, its presence said to permeate all throughout Alto, taking care of Rogue Vassals that abuse their abilities and other businesses related to their side. But what is this story all about, you may ask? Well, set your sights on the upper portions of this huge landmass that is Alto. Yes, the 'whole' world is called Alto, but that is because the majority of the known people live on this large continent. Relieve yourself of the worrying tensions everywhere, and see the white snow. Trace the piercing mountaintops and focus your eyes between the valley. A town sits there. Mido. After realizing that the memories only left in his mind was the night of his town's imminent destruction in flames, a boy finds himself grasping for every fiber of his life as he lays down flat on the ground. Beneath him was soot mixed with the white snow. Fortunately, a group of investigators, who were supposed to answer their call for help, saved him from his sorry state. With a newfound second wind, but hampered by his loss of memory, he must solve his own case: Who had the audacity to set Mido, his town, aflame? Flame Beneath the Snowfall focuses on action, with a sense of adventure, but mostly the discovery of an outside world, and the protagonist's exposure to it. Add in a whisk of soft magical elements, and you get a story that I hope will be interesting to the readers. That is not to say that my work is without the sense of unnerving atmosphere, however. As a forewarning, there are elements of gore, horror, minor elements of mental trauma, etc. so it is not for all audiences. *The book is already completed. Although I have plans to continue the story (it would have to involve much larger scope in terms of world-building), I have yet to decide when to start the next entry.
